Header text in Script

Hi,
My SAP Script is maintained in English language. In one place, i have to read  header text which is in portuguese.
I have used
INCLUDE &VBDKR-TDNAME& OBJECT VBBK ID ZU04 PARAGRAPH HT
in script.
The text is read correctly which has maintained in English(other document no).
But the problem is with the text in portugese.
I can understand that it is because of Language conflict. But is there any solution to overcome this? My user wants that text should be displayed in Portuguese only and the script should be maintained in English.
Regards,
Priya

There is only a way to call that PT text on your english layout is to put a condition.. Include command just works like read_text ..
So if you will not pass the langauge in the editor you will always get the ENGLISH text ...
For example ant specific document number u wud like to print the PT text
Even in editor you can write like this.
/: IF &CONDITION 1& = 'TRUE'  --> For PT
/: INCLUDE &VBDKR-TDNAME& OBJECT VBBK ID ZU04 LANGUAGE PT PARAGRAPH HT
/: ENDIF
/: IF &CONDITION 2& = 'TRUE'   --> For EN
/: INCLUDE &VBDKR-TDNAME& OBJECT VBBK ID ZU04 LANGUAGE EN PARAGRAPH HT
/: ENDIF
I think that should the way..

Lokesh

  • SAP SCRIPT Header text and Item text not printing in customized PO

    Hello Experts,
I have copied the standard MEDRUCK to ZMEDRUCK and customized the form according to the requirement.
I want to print the header text and Item text in my form.
For Header text I have used :
    /: INCLUDE &EKKO-EBELN& OBJECT EKKO ID F01
Problem 1: The text what I enter in header text is flowing only when I hit on print preview without saving the form. Once I save the SAP SCRIPT  and click on print preview the field is appearing blank. I also tried to print the form, but the field is appearing blank even on the print out.
Problem 2: For item text the field is concatenation of  EBELN & EBELP. Can anyone suggest me how to concatenate and fetch the text in item text.

    Hi,

    Hi,
Data is li_lines internal table. 1st you have to read the text form the internal table line by sy-tabix.
At last you have to concatenate these variable into the out tab value.
you can use the following code
ORM fetch_table_data TABLES in_tab STRUCTURE itcsy
                                 out_tab STRUCTURE itcsy.
      TABLES EKKO.
DATA: BEGIN OF header OCCURS 0,
              ld_txt1(163),
              ld_txt2(163),
              ld_txt3(163),
            END OF header.
DATA: li_lines LIKE STANDARD TABLE OF tline WITH HEADER LINE,
            ID like THEAD-TDID,
            TNAME LIKE THEAD-TDNAME,
            TDOBJECT like THEAD-TDOBJECT.
      DATA  HTEXT LIKE EKKO-EBELN.
READ TABLE in_tab WITH KEY EKKO-EBELN.
      if sy-subrc = 0.
      TNAME = in_tab-value.
      ENDIF.

  • Javascrip to read Header text in pdf

    Hi all
I'm new to use javascritp in PDf , i used javascript in Photoshop and illustrator i'm new to PDF
i need a script to read header text in all pages of pdf where font, fontsize must be same
Please anyone help me to develop script

JS has no access to the type face information of text in a file. Best you
can do is get the font size by analysing the coordinates (quads) that
define each word on the page.

  • Problem when dispalying Sales document header text.

    Hi All,
I am facing problem when displaying header text of Sales document. my problem is that
when we got to VA02 -> give sales document number  press enter
once afer going inside that sales document -> Goto Header text  . In text tab, on left hand side we can find many text for whch corresponding text has written on Right hand side Text area.
i want that text to be print on script.
i tried even by pressing F1 but i could not find where that text stores in database.
can any one please explain it how to dispaly the text that is written manually in  text area on Script.
    regards
    Prasadh.

    Hi,
You must call function module 'READ_TEXT' with the following parameters:
ID = The technical text id number (see table TTXID for OBJECT = 'VBBK' for a list of valid values)
    LANGUAGE = your local language
NAME = sales document number (all 10 digits with any leading zeros)
    OBJECT = 'VBBK'
You will need to call the function module once per text type id (the list on the left hand side in VA02, header texts screen).  The text from the right hand side will be in an internal table LINES after you call the 'READ_TEXT' function module.
If you just want to print directly from VA02, then choose the details button which takes you to another screen with Print functionality.
    Regards,
    Jamie

  • Dynamic Header Text

I would like to set some of the Header Text on one of my pages dynamically via an iten set on another page. So far I've tried:
    <script src="http://foo.com/apps?file=api&v=1&key=#MY_ITEM#" type="text/javascript"></script>
using the #MY_ITEM# syntax - but to no avail. Has anyone done this sort of thing before or have a better idea how to do it?
    Thank you in advance.
    -Justin

    Justin,
Use &MY_ITEM. syntax, and then set a computation to fire Before Page Header to set the value of the item before the page renders.
    Thanks,

  • Header text in SAPscript

    Hi,
I am working on SAP script.THE HEADER TEXT IN THE SCRIPT HAS TO BE CHANGED,
""INclude &TVKO_TXNAM_KOP&OBJECT TEXT ID ZOTC LANGUAGE &VBDKL_SPRAS_VST&""
I have searched for the location & also checked the TVKO TABLE for values of TXNAM_KOP field using FM READ_TEXT,but the text to be changed is not there in the table.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You should go to SE71 and enter your script name.  There in menu options-utilities you can activte the debugger.  Execute the script.
When you reach in the statment below
""INclude &TVKO_TXNAM_KOP&OBJECT TEXT ID ZOTC LANGUAGE &VBDKL_SPRAS_VST&""
    check the variables
The variable: &TVKO_TXNAM_KOP& contains text name
    Pass 'ZOTC' as object id
The variable &VBDKL_SPRAS_VST& contains the language
Take these values and go to SO10 and provide there.  Inside you can change the texts.

  • Reg Purchase Order Header text

    Hi PPL,
I have a requirement where in i need to print the Header text that is maintained in a PO in to the Script form.My requirement is that for a specific combination of a Plant and a Vendor i need to populate the Header text automatically on the PO , once the PO is saved.
I need to know how i can populate the Header text for a particular combination as i mentioned earlier.I ll be grateful for ur advice.
    Regards,
    Kevin Nick.

    HI Anji,
Wat u r telling is correct. The requirement for the Text to be printed in to the form ,
we ll use the READ_TEXT with the parameters which u have specified will
be passed to the function module.
Still one part of my question is unanswered in the sense , How do i populate
the text in the PO for a particular combination of Vendor and plant when i save the PO.
The case which you have explained is when we enter the Text manually
in the header , we will be able to read it using 'READ_TEXT' and  print it in the form.
    Regards,
    Kevin Nick.

  • Order header text problems when using transaction EC20 (front office)

    Hello all,
I am to debug a problem. I use transaction EC20 to capture information about connection objects and devices followed by creation of a work order. At one point in time I am presented with a screen where I can enter order header text (looks like SAPscript lines of text). However, even if I enter 3, 4 or more lines, only the first line of the text is captured.
I then use transaction IW33 to look at the order and will see the first line only. Any idea if this is a SAP bug, or something else. If SAP bug, then any OSS note or remedy?
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
the screen you said look like a script editor screen is actually for trext maintainence...you can find such screen in se 38 documentation tab.this screen still exists because 3.1 and the versions before were using this screen for editor.
now when you say it captures only 1 line just go and find out the length of that particular field.If.
Please let me know if the problem still exists
    Thanks
