HELP! Can No longer edit certain files in DW CS5
I was editing these fine for the past two days and i reuploaded them to the ftp server and had to make a change to one and now they are all greyed out and impossible to edit here is code:

<p>I, _______________, give permission to MCRA, LLC to pull all three of my credit reports. These include Experian®, Equifax®, and TransUnion®. I understand that my credit score will not be negatively affected by allowing MCRA, LLC to pull my credit reports. The Company will make NO GUARANTEES and WILL NOT under any circumstances make any false or misleading claims to any of it's clients and/or referring agents. It is very important to understand that the results of any/all investigations performed on client's behalf are the responsibility of the investigating credit reporting agencies and the creditors being investigated. The Company will dispute any/all credit items that appear to be inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or otherwise questionable with all three major credit reporting agencies, Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian.</p>
<p>I understand that prior attempts by myself, or any other agents acting on my behalf, to conduct a credit repair/restoration program may cause delays with The Company's efforts to complete this process. I also understand that prior attempts may cause the inability of The Company to acquire credit reports and/or other documents necessary to complete this process. In the event the acquisition of credit report(s) and/or other documentation is not possible or otherwise impaired, The Company will request client and/or client's agent assist in the acquisition and forwarding of requested reports and/or documentation. The Company will not be held liable for service(s) not completed due to client and/or client agent's failure to comply with any such request. It may be necessary at times for client and/or client agent to purchase a copy or copies of credit reports if The Company is unable to access reports via no-cost means. Your Template code is incomplete / corrupted.
That's why you can't edit it.
Try opening your .dwt file in a plain text editor like NotePad. Remove the editable regions from code. Save. Open in DW.
You will need to SaveAs Template (same name as the one used by your child pages). Add editable regions to match the ones in your child pages. Save.

Similar problem here. My Ical refuses to edit or delete events. Viewing is possible, though sometimes the whole screen turns grey. Adding new events from mail is still possible. The task-pane completely disappeared. My local apple technic-centre messed about with disk utility for a bit and than told me to reinstall leopard. I could of course do that, but it seems to me that reinstalling Leopard just to fix iCal events is a bit invasive.
I tried also tried removing everything, installing a new copy of iCal from the leopard-cd, software updates, all to no avail.
At the moment I'm open to all suggestions that do not include a complete leopard reinstall. -
Since downloading 11.2.2.3 I can no longer edit info or add album artwork to any music I add to my library that hasn't been bought through iTuens. It will allow me to make changes on the "Get Info" section but when I hit OK nothing happens. Anybody got a solution?
Check your settings under Edit > Preferences > Advanced. Is the correct media folder location shown, and is Keep... ticked?.iTunes only rearranges content inside the iTunes Media folder if the Keep... option is enabled, and it only offers to send to the recycle bin when deleting things located inside the media folder.

I can no longer edit the info for my songs, movies and tv shows. This occurred since I loaded Windows 7 Pro on my C drive, and then fownloaded ITunes 10. Why will the program not allow me to access the track info to edit it?
Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

I can no longer print PDF files that were scanned with the very same MX479 on Windows XP, SP3
I can no longer print PDF files that were scanned with the very same MX479 All-in-One.
I have an (obsolete) Windows XP, SP3 computer. Obviously, no updates from Microsoft
have occurred that might have impacted my Canon Pixma MX479.
When I attempt to send 1 or more pages from a PDF file to the printer, I don't even get the
Canon PIXMA popup that would allow me to cancel the print job.
Yet the Print Queue icon appears in the lower right corner of my monitor.
If I view the Print Queue, the print queue shows "spooling" and does nothing more.
If I attempt to CANCEL the print job in the Print Queue, it simply changes to "deleting -
spooling".
I cannot cancel the print job that shows NOT RESPONDING via Task Manager, either.
In fact, the only way the Print Queue icon disappears is if I totally reboot my computer!
"Luckily", I can still print e-mails, Word documents, and even my downloaded PDF of my
bank statement.
So, I was thinking that it was *only* PIXMA'S OWN SCANNED PDFS that could not be
printed ON THE SAME PIXMA 479.
However, I have since realized that I also cannot print USPS Signature Proof of Delivery
PDFs that I received from USPS via e-mail.
So why can I print *some* PDF files, but not *all* PDF files, like I previously could do?
THESE SCANS ARE OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS, SO I WILL LIKELY HAVE TO E-MAIL
THE REQUISITE, PREVIOUSLY SCANNED PDFS TO FEDEX TO PAY FOR *THEM*
TO PRINT THEM.
NOTE: I *have* tried turning the PIXMA off, unplugging it, rebooting the computer, plugging
the PIXM in and restarting the PIXMA - still no ability to print PIXMA-scanned PDFs.
And, I find it very strange that e-mails, Word documents, and some other PDFs print with
no problem "around" "NOT RESPONDING" PIXMA print jobs.
I have owned Canon printers for years, including the MX420, and the MX340.There may be some security issues related to the USPS PDFs.

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.

Can No Longer Edit Song Meta Data In Latest iTunes 11.1???
I just discovered that since the update to version 11.1 I can no longer manually edit the meta data by using the Show info function, all options are greyed out. For instance I can no longer adjust the volume level on a song nor can I edit the fields for song title and artist tec. There is also no longer any tab for album art when using the Show Info function on a song that has no album cover art. On songs that already have an album cover there will be an album art tab but the options there are all greyed out so I can not change the album cover art if I wanted too. This really *****, I can no longer edit album cover art for songs that have another cover already and I can not add any cover picture at all for songs that have no cover art (unless I manage to get the cover from the iTunes store but that is very often not successfull).
Another bug I found is that I can no longer add any video file to my playlists.
So this new update really ***** for me and have ruined my itunes experience.
Do anyone else in here have the same problem?
I really hope Apple will fix these bugs as soon as possible!I think I finally found a solution to this problem. It appears that for some reason, some songs you download will maintain write protection that the original owner had set on his/hers computer. In my case for this Ellie Goulding album that I had problem with, it turned out my friend who gave it to me had some of the songs stored on his iPad and that caused the files to become write protected it seems, and this write protection was transfered over to my PC. To solve this issue, everytime you encounter a song in iTunes that you can not edit just right click it and select Show/View In Explorer, that will take you to the storage location of the file in question. Now right click the song and select Properties and see if it is write protected, if it is then just uncheck that option and click ok. Now you should be able to edit the meta data for that song again. So it appears this is not a bug in iTunes but rather a write protection issue.

I just blindly upgraded my iTunes to 11.2.2 (3) and find that I can no longer edit any information on songs. This is not acceptable. Not only can I not enter missing song writing credits, I can't even tell it to sort by a performer's last name instead of first. I tried going to the actual file location to see if I can change permissions, but it won't let me - it simply says I only have read permission. This is true even for files I ripped from my own LPs, or from CDs I own, not just iTunes Store purchases.
Every time I upgrade I lose capability. I'm about to stop doing it. Anyone have a workaround?Something tells me that this is a new installation on a new Vista machine correct?
I don't believe version before 7.1 will work on Vista. Its most likely a permission issue on Vista. -

Can no longer open PDF files from my emails sent from other websites. Problem seems to correlate with automatic upgrade of free adobe software (from version 11 to Reader DC)?
To configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open PDF files:
1. Quit Internet Explorer(any other browser)
2. Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
3. Choose Edit > Preferences.
4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
5. Deselect(Uncheck) Display PDF in Browser, and click OK.
6. Restart Internet Explorer -
Can no longer view video files in Adobe Media Player!!
For some reason I can no longer view video files in Adobe Media Player.
My computer has reverted all my files into one Adobe Flash Player document.
Any help with this would be very appreciated.

I can no longer import raw files from my Panasonic Lumix LX5 into Aperture 3.3.2 - raw files from my other Canon cameras are fine. Am still running Lion (10.7.4) - NOT Mountain Lion. Tried all available software updates - all up to date apparently but still no joy. OS X Lion shows the LX5 as a supported file format. I dont want to have to upgrade to Mountain Lion just to see if this solves the problem. Any ideas please.
Since when did this happen? Directly after you upgraded to Aperture 3.3.2?
If it happened directly after the upgrade the problem may be, that the raw support for your camera got lost. For some posters it helped to register the raw support again, see this post by Alan Roseman:

If this does not help, you may need to reinstall Lion to bring back the raw support.
But if the problem occured independent of a new installation, ypu may have a problem with your camera or the card you are using. Have you tried to use a different card or to reformat the card in the camera? -
Because I can no longer open Adobe files, and have tried all obvious solutions, I've been told to defrag the Intel portion of my MacBook Pro. How do I do this?
I never use the Intel side, and have never partitioned the MacBook Pro.

ITunes 10.5 upgrade 32 bit can no longer edit album information
Since upgrading to the latest version of itunes I can no longer edit any of the CD info. When I open the Get Info for an individual track or entire CD all fields with content are grayed. I'm in the Music view, not a Playlist and not the iPod list.
I've checked the actual files and I have permision to ReadWrite.
Any ideas?Try control clicking on the song and click 'Get Info'. Go to the tab that says 'Artwork', and the image file should be there in a little box. You can then copy it like normal. Just tried it (i have itunes 10) and it works:)

Can no longer edit events in Calendar on iPod 2ndG
We have a MP, MBP, iPhone 4S and iPod 2nd G and to be able to sync Calendar and other programs on iCloud we installed Lion. We used to sync the iiPod to the MP but after switching to Lion shifted it to the MBP and she can no longer edit events on Calendar. Is this a setting problem or is it an issue with the IOS 4 on the iPod? Do we have to get an iPod that will accept IOS 5?
Doing an entire report in a table is such a bad idea and really unnecessary.
Sounds like you need to update both Pages and your user tag.
Are you actually on OSX 10.6.8 and what version of Pages are you using?
