Help, cannot deploy EJBs !

since upgrating to the new version (20 j) i cannot deploy in the remote OC4J i execute exactly the same procedures without any change. THE log window of deployment display this message
Exit status of Oracle9iAS admin tool (-deploy): 128
#### Deployment incomplete. ####
whithout any other explanation or detail!!!
please help !

Hello,
We have heard other reports of this problem and are in the process of investigating. You may be able to get more information by trying the following:
1) JDeveloper should have printed out the command used to invoke the OC4J "admin.jar" utility. Find that line in the JDeveloper log window (on the "Deployment" page) and copy it to your clipboard.
2) Paste the command into the log window. You will need to change "javaw.exe" to "java.exe" in order to have any effect on the command-line. JDeveloper uses javaw internally to avoid bringing up another console window. However, the OC4J utility sometimes prints messages to the console window, so JDeveloper never receives them.
If you get any additional messages on the command-line, please paste them into a message in this thread, and I will follow-up with you.
Thanks!

  • Cannot deploy EJB from JDev 3.2

    Dear Sirs,
When you try to create a deployment profile using JDeveloper 3.2 step #2 of the wizard asks for "select a type of deployment". In Jdeveloper 3.1.1.2 the option "deploy Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) to Oracle8i". But in release 3.2 that option is taken away.
Does this mean Jdeveloper does not support the EJB 1.1 spec (i.e. the XML deployment descriptor)? Or must I upgrade the database from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7. Or is this a bug?
    regards.

    Hello:
Can anyone helps us with this EJB problem in Oracle? :
With JDeveloper 3.1.12 we can deploy with the wizard an EJB component in Oracle (database) 8.1.6 but the client test fails with the following message:
    "oracle.jbo.ApplicationModuleCreateException:
JBO-25222: Unable to create application module...."
In an Oracle error log file (in the bdump directory) we find the following information:
    "Attempt to call System.getProperties failed
    ...skipping...
    at oracle.jbo.server.remote.ejb.EJBApplicationModuleImpl.ejbCreate
    (EJBApplicationModuleImpl.java:183)..."
We think that the problem is related with:
    1- memory parameters of Oracle 8i ?
2- Java security permissions in the server ?
    Thanks you for your help.

The only non-Oracle application servers supported in JDeveloper seem to be WebLogic, Tomcat, and JBoss. You might want to check the JDeveloper forum over at Oracle, someone might have an answer for you.

    Greetings,
I'm deploying my EAR with my EJB on weblogic 8.1sp2, and I'm getting

    What is the problem?

Typically this means that javac is not in your server's path.
    There's two possible solutions:
    1) add javac to your server's path
    or
    2) run java weblogic.appc <ear/jar file> before deploying
I typically recommend #2 since it catches many errors before deployment.

  • Plz help me how to deploy ejb's 3.0  in weblogic7.0 version

    hi
how to deploy ejb's3.0 in weblogic7.0 version.i know only deploy ejb2.0 in weblogic 7.0. same procedure or any change.

Fire up the administrative console and login.
    http://localhost:7001/console
In the left hand pane, expand Deployments and click on EJB Modules. You will see a link saying "Deploy a new EJB Module...", browse to your EJB JAR (I hope you know how to create one for your application) and select Target Module. If everything is okay, the EJB will get deployed.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi
This problem may be because of version mismatch,
why dont you install the latest version of NWDS 7.0.7,
    and try doing the same,
    I think it will help,

  • Calling a newly deployed EJB from an EJB gives a NoSuchMethod Exception if the jar of the newly deployed ejb is not in the classpath

    Hi ,
I have an EJB A which is already deployed when the server starts. A second ejb
B is deployed at a later time.
EJB A calls methods in EJB B. I use reflection in EJB A to call methods in EJB
    B.
I get a NoSuchMethodException when I call the create method in the Home object
of EJB B. If I add the ejb jar file to the classpath before the server starts
then it is able to resolve the method.
The problem is the EJBs which are called from EJB A is not known before the server
is started. New EJBs can be deployed at runtime and EJB A should be able call
the methods in newly deployed EJB's.
I also use the URLClassLoader to load all the classes in the jar file of the newly
deployed EJB in EJB A and it still gives a NoSuchMethodException because it cannot
    resolve the stub class.
My error log is shown below.
    This is an urgent issue.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I am attaching a test case. This test case actually demonstrates a security bug.
Unzip the file and modify the StartWeblogic.cmd in domainA to not refer to the
SampleRemoteEJB.jar in the classpath. If u run the test client under the client
dir u will see a NoSuchMethodException.
The reason is it is not able to load the dynamically generated stub file.
Initially I had the getMethod and it didn't work. You might have to modify the
files to suit ur env. The easier way is to run th edomain wizard and create 2
domains. Run the servers in development mode and place the jars under the applications
    dir
    Thanks

    Hmmmm. That's an interesting problem.
Why is it giving you a NoSuchMethodException instead of a

Can you post the code from SampleConctorEJB.java, line 181?
Try changing your call to getDeclaredMethod() to getMethod().
getDeclaredMethod() searches only the class you called it on, whereas
getMethod() traverses to the superclasses and interfaces. You onlyneed
getDeclaredMethod() when you're accessing a nonpublic method.
Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a shot.

    Hello Dankertsen
This is a standard error in SAP XML Deployment file, you need to check the file ejb-j2ee-engine.xml if it starts with a space (first line) you must remove it and then update the file aii_mdt_bean.jar. and then retry again.
    Hope this will help.

  • Cannot deploy EAR.  There are already active sessions

    Hi WebDyn Pro's,
    I'm running NW SP14
Sporadically, I cannot deploy my WebDynpro app to the NW server.  In NWDS, I indicate to Deploy and run.  I get an error in the console indicating:
<b>"Cannot log in.  There are already active sessions.  Session id 0 An administrator logged in via API /"</b>
I restarted the server and the NWDS workstations but that didn't help.  I've had this same error in the past.  Usually it goes away.  I thought I solved it, but evidently not.
On the NW server, I cannot log into SDM GUI either.  I get the same error.
As mentioned above, this error occurs sporadically.  I can deploy just fine 50 times.  And then all of sudden I start getting this error, even though no one has touched the server.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi,
Have you checked if anyone else is actually using SDM to deploy?
There are some quite significant deployment tasks that my basis team perform which will occupy the SDM tool for a long time and stop me and my other developers from deploying anything.
I've also caused this problem myself when my SDM deployment has stalled - I've been deploying a custom B2B .ear file and the deployment has just got stuck in processing for ages.  In the end I've had to kill the SDM task from Windows Task Manager but this causes SDM to think someone is still logged in so I've then had to restart the SDM service from the SAP Management Console.
If this is not the case I'd suggest raising it through OSS if you can't find any relevant messages on there.
    Hope this helps,
    Gareth Ryan.

  • Cannot deploy web dynpro applications

    Hello,
I'm starting to develop web dynpro applications, and I can run them on the nwds, but I cannot deploy them to the SDM, i always get the following error:

I have installed Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004S SR 1, i can access the  enterprise portal with no problems.
I would be appreciate if anybody could help me with this issue.
    Regards,
    Leandro Fonseca

At the same time if more users are deploying then you may such 'deployment aborted' errors check if there are more child instances for the J2EE engine. If not ask your basis administrator to create more child nodes to balance the load on the server instance. Also You can find out the server details at
    "http:
<hostname:portnum>\index.html"select system configuration-you can get the details of the SDM and the j2ee engine from there. You need to have proper credentials to get the information from the above url.
Provide those details in the NWDS.

  • Cannot deploy webdynpro project from SP11 of developer studio

    Hi All,
I have recently upgraded was java from SP09 to SP11 of netweaver 2004s. I have also upgraded developer studio to SP11. Now I cannot deploy webdynpro project from upgraded developer studio. SP09 developer studio can still deploy webdynpro projects.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance .
    Raktim

    Hi,
R u trying to deploy an old DC in the upgraded studio? Is the same happening for deploying any newly created local webdynpro project? Create a simple local project and check if same problem occurs.

<p>I could not find any documentation that suggested LIMIT or OFFSET where supported. Some of our developers needed to use limit, in the end all I could suggest was using a dynamic query and setting the maximum number of results see here
