[HELP] Global Force All Tests to Fail...
I have a project with 300 odd Sequence files. When a test case in one of these sequences fails a sequence is called to suggest “fixes” for the failure in the report file. For example a DC PSU test might suggest replacing the DC PSU.
I need a quick way of forcing all the Pass/Fail Test cases to fail on mass, so we can check that the report is updating correctly. So the test may initially pass, but I want fail to be reported. Is this possible?

Hey Christopher,
You can force a step to fail by right clicking it and selecting Run Mode > Force Fail. You can Ctrl+click multiple steps and this will still work, or use CTRL+A.

Help! This all runs quite smoothly until I get to 'consolidate library'. Then, tracks start copying, then stop followed by a pop up saying 'Copying files failed. The disc could not be read from or written to.' Any suggestions? Thank you!
I had similar problems, it was a nightmare and on a 3 month ipod too!. I use a Powerbook G4 at home and a G5 at work - both were returning the same problems. so I sent it off to apple, they quickly sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with and it didn't need to be repaired. I tried it again and the same problems occurred "disc cannot be written to or read from." I could copy 20 songs onto it at the very most. A couple of guys at my work suggested updating it on a PC, then adding tunes via my mac as normal - guess what!? it works a treat!?. How ridiculous is that!? an Apple product works best on a PC. these generations of ipods are obviously designed to work best on Intel based Macs. What is wrong Apple? are you abandoning the G-generation!? still, atleast my ipod works for now - it will prove a problem when I have to update the iPod's software since I don't own a PC or an intel-based Mac.

With secondary dut machine, must i test all or only failed test in first dut?
I tested a device with DUT(device under test) pc.
In USB tests, 4 tests failed because these tests need USB2 - HighSpeedBehavior feature and DUT pc has only XHCI.In DeviceManager displays EHCI node, but the device connected with USB2 port is resided under USB3 XHCI node in DeviceManager. (This pc has 6
USB2 ports and 4 USB3 ports.)
So, I set up 2nd DUT pc(dut2) that has only USB2ports.
With dut2 pc, must i test all, or only failed tests ?Hi s.suzawa,
If you just reconnect your test device on another PC with USB2 port, which connected with USB3 port,
you can apply distributed testing methdology to merge several PCs results.

4S w/8.1. All alerts, phone, message etc stopped working. Ckd settings can’t find answer. Ckd sounds on settings all test good. Help.

use the side control and make sure the switch is up for ringer and not on vibrate. -
Bug Report: Enabling Application Frame forces all open documents into tabs
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Set Preferences -> Interface -> "Open Documents as Tabs" to OFF
Open a bunch of documents. Observe that they are separate floating windows, which is good
Choose Window -> "Application Frame" which will turn the default Application Frame off
Choose Window -> "Application Frame" which will re-enable the Application Frame and force all of your open docs into tabs, which is undesired!

Installed TWAIN devices: NONEFound another option which is helpful for those trying to rid themselves of tabs:
Preferences -> Interface -> Uncheck "Enable Floating Document Window Docking"
This will prevent you from accidentally dragging a document near the top of the Aplication Frame and having it sucked into a tab.
That said, I think it is still a problem to have all documents brought into tabs when turning on Window -> Application Frame when all of the available "don't use tabs" options are chosen. -

I have JRE 1.6.0_45, Firefox 24. I have already run the OpenScript Diagnosis Tool and solve the issues listed, but still have the same problem. Can anyone help me with this?
FYI: When I start record a functional test, no EBS, but Web, I have no trouble.

Hi All,
I ran Test-CsGroupExpansion in all my three FE servers but all failed with below error,
the server was unable to process the request due to an internal error, For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults on the server in order to send the exception information back to client, or turn
on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET frame SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.
could you share with me if you have any solution. many appreciation. thanks

Did the other Lync Server function work normally?
Please check if Lync Services started on FE Servers. Then check if only this command “Test-CsGroupExpansion” failed or all other Lync command failed as well.
If the issue only happen for this command, please include the Verbose parameter, such as following:
Test-CsGroupExpansion -TargetFqdn "atl-cs-001.litwareinc.com" -GroupEmailAddress "[email protected]" –Verbose
If the issue happen for all Lync command,
Please make sure CMS replication update to the latest status.
Please make sure Lync Server update to the latest version and then test again.

This error is triggered in SCOM 2012 R2 about a single Exchange 2010 SP3 server :
Exchange 2010 MP : Some Client Access test cmdlets failed to run.
When I dig into the error context, I can see it's about the cmdlet "Test-CalendarConnectivity -TestType:External".
The TechNet
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh377605(v=exchg.140).aspx proposes to verify that the URL for the external virtual directory can be accessed by running the Test-OwaConnectivity.
OK.
But what sould I specify for the parameter -MailBoxCredential required for Test-OwaConnectivity -URL my_url -MailBoxCredential ?

When running the Test-FederationTrust cmdlet on a CAS server running Exchange 2010 SP1 (RU5v1) I get an error saying that there was an issue getting a delegation token.

First of all, we are facing this issue, where Internet connectivity of Exchange Hybrid Server is coming from Webproxy, so need to define Webproxy in Exchange Powershell
First Exchange Powershell will be

Note: Change Exchange Servername and Proxy IP and Port no as per your enviornment.

I want to create a Custom stylesheet and attach the style sheet globally for all the WD Applicaitons.
Can anyone please help me to achieve this requirement.You can't directly interact with the Stylesheets of Web Dynpro. You only have access to the concept of theme. If your WD Application runs in the portal, it will inherit the portal theme automatically. You can customize this theme using the portal theming tools.
If your application runs standalone, then you would have to use the unsupported Eclipse Based Theme Editor (which can be downloaded from SCN). The are Community create how-to guides on SCN for how to download the theme from the MIME repository, edit it and then re-upload it to the MIME Repository. You then use Web Dynpro Application Parameters to force the usage of your customized theme. -
UNICODE Registry APIs Test Result Failed

I am currently performing HCK (windows 8.1) on my Windows 2008 R2 and one of the tests is the UNICODE Registry APIs Test. After running the task, the result for UNICODE test is FAILED. Upon checking the logs, Most errors are about Registry Key Create specifically
to create many levels of subkeys. It says "found "HKEY(0x00000000000000B0)\REGISTRY BETA Create TEST\ create many levels of subkeys\create many levels of subkeys\create many levels of subkeys\create many levels of subkeys\create many levels of subkeys\"but
the test did not create it.
In the help file, there is no information about this test. I hope you can help me with this issue.

What specifically are you trying to do with these API? There may be other ways to achieve the same overall goal, although the config manager calls suggest the app may be attempting something beyond the scope of a Windows Phone app.
For file handling CreateFile2 and FindFirstFileExW are supported. -

Is there a way to get Firefox to 'Force all Links to be opened in New Tabs, like Maxthon browser does ? I really like this Maxthon feature but hate Maxthon as it has always has and continues to lock up all the time (what a pain!!)

USELESS ONLINE HELP FACILITIES
For all the amazing productivity aids that APPLE offers the world I have to report that their online support service is worse than useless and has recently been the source of immense time wasting and irritation.
Incident 1. Since many months attempts to download new and updated APPs produced a response – Apple ID Disabled. I had no time to consult an APPLE Store due to work in distant lands. When I finally visited yesterday I was told that as my IPAD has been reported as stolen, and APPLE in its wisdom had blocked its usage! I am not sure how they became so misinformed and nobody every advised me while with a few swift moves APPLE could have located me by email address or SKYPE.
Incident 2. Once the above anomaly had been fixed I tried to down load a newspaper and diligently input my address, credit card number and personal data. Repeatedly I was advised that my Credit Card was invalid and my postal code was incorrect! Really!
I was left to guess that having moved from UK to the US I should have advised APPLE! Not being told of this requirement brought about a second visit to APPLE Store in the same day to waste both mine and their time with a routine anomaly. How parochial in the context of a globalized world!
In each case I tried to resolve the issues using online access to a help line and by calling by phone at the numbers on the APPLE Website. In each of four separate occasions I diligently went through the routine and ended up with a message that thanked me for contacting Apple followed by a polite ‘Good Bye’!
In desperation I went to an Apple Store for the second time in a day as it is close to where I live when I am not working. On both occasions I was courteously attended to by Apple Staff.
However, my work is usually far away from the US and it is generally many thousands of miles to the nearest Apple Store therefore online help is viewed as imperative if one is to resolve issues away from home.
Why can Apple not provide a clearly marked EMAIL address and Telephone number at a Help Desk with real people to respond to requests for help? It would cost nothing in relative terms and might restore my high level of anti-APPLE sentiment that these two recent events have provoked.

If that is your question, the answer is at the bottom right of this web page. It is clearly marked "Contact Us" and is the best way, really the only way, to contact Apple.
If there were a publicly posted email address for concerns such as yours, it would be quickly filled with spam in about three minutes, thereby becoming instantly useless to you and everyone else. Apple would need to change it hourly, if not more often. That is also the reason you ought not to post your name, location, and what appears to be your iPad's serial number on this publicly viewable website.
Apple does not respond here and I can find no other questions for your fellow Apple users to answer. -

What I am saying id that you need top start by splitting the database. The easy way is using the Wizard but you can manually process this by creating a blank database and importing everything into it except the Tables.
Once you have only Tables in the one File and the Logic and Objects other than Tables in the other File. Then rename the one with only Tables to include _BE. for instance "MyDataBase_BE.accdb" Then name the FE
"MyDataBase.accdb".
Next open the FE and Save As an .accde File. This will make a copy of the FE and lock the project so the code cannot be changed. Give everyone a copy of the .accde file and they cannot make changes to it.
As far as specifying
File/Option/Client Settings/Advanced
Open Method:
Shared
Encryption Method:
Use Legacy Encryption…"
Do this before you make the .accde version for distribution.
Maintain your .accdb copy for future changes that may be needed. Then you will need to redistribute the FE after new changes are saved.
