Help: How add mouse features to let it show the label of the item?

Hi,
I'd like to add mouse features so that whem mouse moves over an item, it will show the label of the item. Especially, on the tab of a tab page to show the full label.

Oracle Forms calls this feature "Tooltip", you will find it as property of many items.
For Tab-Pages Tooltips don't exist because Forms displays Tab-Labels always in full length.

I need some help regarding a swing application. I am not able to syncronously update the counters and labels that display on my Swing GUI as the application runs in the background. But when the running of application is completed, then the labels on the GUI are getting updated, But I want update the labels and counters on the GUI syncronously as the code executes... below I am giving the format of the code I have written..............

First off, note that this question should have been posted in the Swing section.
GUI events run in a separate thread (the AWT / Event Dispatch Thread) than your program.
You should be invoking AWT/Swing events via SwingUtilities.invokeLater().
If for whatever reason you want to have the program thread wait for the event to process
you can use invokeAndWait().

In iTunes go to general preferences and check the boxes for those you wish to see in the library.

Help how do i stop iTunes from automatically opening when I press the right directional arrow

I am have an early 2011 Macbook Pro i5 with OSX 10.9 running itunes 11.1.3
Everytime I press the directional right arrow it open itunes and plays a song. It seems like an odd problem. How do I stop this?
I tried searching for a solution and can't find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Where are the 'Bookmark folders ' that give you a problem

** on the bookmarks toolbar
**on the sidebar
**in the firefox bookmarks library

Add "*" infront of the label in the error message popup window

Dear all,
I am new in ADF, I would like to add an "*" infront of the Salutation label in the error message popup,
does anybody know how to do it? pls help me out in this...thanks
PS: The Salutation is a af:selectOneChoice component with required validation,
and if I modified the Salutation to af:inputText with required validation the "*" is shown automatically.

I entered new fields in a form that was created last year to update it. However, now when I view the responses, they are listed as Column 1, Column 5, etc. It doesn't show a label for the actual field when I view the responses. Can you please help?

Hi Mike,
CRSE is an OEM Product and for use with a custom application they have written. Unfortunately we don't their reports or how they are connecting, it would appear they were originally built off a SQL and then set to a Dataset in the app or they could be adding the data source at runtime. Lots of variations and without access to the source code to see what they are doing not much we can help you with.
You need to contact the OEM Partner for help in resolving this and find out what you can and need to do to update your SP and work with their canned reports,

How do I change the label of the search when using ADF Query?

According to Fusion UI standards, the search label should say Advanced Search or Search depending on whether or not the search is advanced or basic. Can anyone point me to some code that accomplishes this or describe how this should be done.? Thanks, -Klaus

Hi Lucas,
You can use the 'set(int, String, Image)' method on ChoiceGroup or on List depending on where your Choice elements are.
Check the Java doc of ChoiceGroup or List for this 'set' method. In short, the 'int' refers to the index within the entire list, the 'String' object refers to the new caption of the choice element and the 'Image' object refers to the icon that has to be set for the choice element (can be 'null').

How to get rid of mutiple events showing in calenders for the same event

How do you get rid of mutiple events that show up in your calender of the same event. It doesn't matter what kind of event it is whether personel or yearly holiday it shows up mutiple times in the month view, list view. I've gone through and deleted events manually and said for all future events but this is time consuming, because you have to do it for each event. Is there a qicker way of getting this done? Also just an off note I found out that my bluetooth headsets stop ringing throught the ear piece like they did before the upgrade, any insight into this?

If I understand your question correctly...
try the following
from Sources, choose the greyed out streaming library that you want to be rid of...in your case, make sure it is the right one, since they both have the same name.
You should get a screen that says "Library Unavailable" with 2 menu choices below that, "OK" and "Disconnect from iTunes".
Choose disconnect from iTunes and the library should be gone from your Sources.

I didn't set anything - it just happened. I think it only works for IMAP accounts. If yours is IMAP, the only thing I can think of is to delete the account and set it up again

If within PageFlowController you can use corresponding backing context. However within jsp page, you need to use PresentationContext to get information about current book or page.
