Help!! I'm on an unstable internet connection in Nepal (can't be helped or changed), and the download keeps failing. Any way to continue the download when internet reconnects?
The title should say it all, but to go in more detail, here's the situation:
I run a production company and I have to deliver a project file to my counterpart in the next two days. Before I left for Nepal I switched from my desktop to my laptop, and did not realize my laptop had an older version of Premiere installed. So when I went to open the project file, it would not open it because it says it was created in a newer version and cannot be opened. So I've been trying and trying and trying to download the new program via the creative cloud desktop app. Obviously this is going to take a long time with internet speeds in Nepal, and there is absolutely NO way around this. Developing country, power goes on and off without warning, etc.
The thing I'm having a hard time with is that each time my computer disconnects from the internet, then reconnects, the enormously long download has to completely start over again. I even got as far as 28% on one of my overnight downloads only to have to start over again in the morning when I woke up because the connection wavered in my sleep. UGH!!
My main question is this: is there anywhere (ANYWHERE!!!) that I can connect directly to the adobe servers to download this program with included internet breaks, kind of like FTP, or Dropbox, or anything of the sort. It's incredibly frustrating (and kind of a huge Adobe oversight) that if the internet connection breaks during a download, that you have to start over again. Why can't it pick up again when the connection is restored? Is there any way around this? Please please help, I am on a very tight deadline before Xmas and need any help I can get!!

Erin I am sorry you are facing difficulty downloading the Creative Cloud software. It can be frustrating when you do not have access to high speed stable Internet.
You can attempt to download the base installers and updates by following the directions listed at:

You may want to attempt to utilize some form of download management as the main issue seems to be the stability of your connection.
There is not currently a method to resume downloads within the Creative Cloud Desktop application. There is download management included though it may not be enough to compensate for the current Internet connection. At random points throughout my laptop usage, I randomly disconnect from the internet and receive these 2 messages:

It fixes the issue for a short period of time, but constantly happens. This is really starting to annoy me. I have no problems on any other internet, and other people i live with are connected with no issues to the internet. I have tried a number of solutions
online that has "worked" for others to no success such as resetting the router, fooling around with command prompt, and changing the performance settings to not drop internet when low on power. Does anyone have a solution for my technical problems?

I would appreciate your help on how to configure a gmail in a way it ask for the password everytime I connect?. In the only way I can configure it I have to include the pw when configuring the account and after that it do not ask for pw so everyone that shares my iPad can oppen my mail with no pw required.
ThankThe iPad is designed to be a single user device, and there is currently no way to password protect the Mail app - even removing the account password from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars will just prevent new mail being downloaded, it won't hide those that have already been downloaded. You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

When I went to bed I had 3,000 song and multiple playlists. This morning I have ~30 songs and no playlists. What could have happened to my songs playlists? I run iTunes on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. HELP! (oh, and the Songs are not in recycle bin)
My wife's ipod nano was plugged into the machine overnight.
When she went running with it, there were no songs on it. She checked the computer and was horrified to see that the playlists had disappeared and most of the songs had disappeared.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I just purchased a new Linksys E2500 router. It will connect to all my other devices, but does not recognize the password when sent from the PowerBook G4. When I try it responds that the password is invalid. I have connected my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPod Touch with the same password.

How can I use a wireless printer and the internet at the same time?
Hi there, I just installed a wireless printer but to use it I have to click on the Airport icon and select the printer in the 'devices' list. This deselects my connection to my wireless modem. Is there any way I can print and look at the internet at the same time? This does not seem right to me, I print a lot of info from the net and don't want to spend time selecting and waiting for connection back and forth all the time.
BoI have a Linksys WAG54G2 wireless G router. This router has a Wireless Protected Setup button which I understood would initiate a search for wireless devices and aid setup but it seems to do nothing. I made the mistake of tryig to use the linksys installation disk to access a setup wizard and that just reset my entire network back to factory settings and it took me 4 hours to reconfig my system. Won't be touching that again. It all seems odd, the printer is compatible with the router as far as I can see but I don't know how to get the router to recognise the printer.

Hi, I am trying to use my iPhone's hotspot for my internet connection and use my airport extrem just for the wlan capabilities. Every time I connect to the AE-Wlan I lose the internet connection from my iPhone. Any suggestions? Thanks!
When you say "wlan" are you trying to use your computer for internet sharing over wireless to other machines, and have your computer be the machine that routes the internet signal coming off the phone?
A better configuration would be to setup tethering of internet over Bluetooth for the phone, and then the computer can use its airport card to share the internet.
If you have an Airport Base Station, you can set it up to echo the WiFi signal being sent by the phone, and use the phone to share its internet over WiFi, using what is known as Wireless Distribution System (WDS).
Mind you internet on the phone being shared has its limits as your account probably is capped at how much data it can use in any one month. Computers using phone internet use a lot of data.
If this is over your head, you may want to bring the phone, your computer, and your Airport base station to an authorized repair shop, or Apple usergroup meeting where someone can at least configure everything as needed to share with the rest of the computers in your home. -
Lately my magic mouse has been losing its connection quite randomly. It usually reconnects soon after. I bought a cheap USB mouse to keep me going during these unexpected down-times. The batteries are fresh and the switch is on. I've uninstalled and re-installed the mouse in Bluetooth, but the problem recurs.
Try a PRAM reset. That usually helps bluetooth problems.

dynamically at runtime, and they can be played interactively.
I achieves the step-by-step display of those frames by adding
another layer with the action stop(). But I got one trouble: all
the movie clips from previous frames are accumalted. How to remove
the accumulation from previous frames?
For the continuous display of the movie, I tried to use
onEnterFrame() and change the _visible property of all the movie
clips to false in this function. But it doesn't work for the
step-by-step display. Once I click the next button, the movie clips
at the current frame just show very quickly, then disappear. What
should I do?
I need to fix this immediately.

Heres the isse:
When updating iTunes, after the restart I booted up iTunes and it crashed. I was prompted with iTunes had been updated incorrectly and to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. After downloading the installer from itunes.ca. I opened up the application, and clicked Next. Under the directory it says M Drive, I dont have an M drive at all, I click change and a prompt pops that says, "The volume M:/ is currently unavailable. Please select another." with "ok" being the only selection.
After hitting ok, it says "itunes installer completed" "Errors occured during installation before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again. Click Finish to exit the installer." Finish is the only selectable, and upon restarting the installer the same thing happens. I hope theres someone who can help me out with this.Hello Fix88,
