HELP! I want to center a website on a page which contains multiple div's

Hello,
I created a one page website that has multiple div tags. It is a portfolio site that has links to images. I used the hide/reveal behavior so there is no redirection to another page. I want the site to be centered on my web page. I tried using a wrapper div to wrap my div's with auto left and right margin and center-align text. This didnt work too well, only one image was successfully centered. Maybe because there are so many other div's with hide/reveal properites that I'm not putting it in the proper areas? Or maybe wrapper div is not the answer?
Any and all help/advice is appreciated!

Create an ID for the wrapper div in the head of your document or place it in your current stylesheet if you are using one:
#wrapper {
width: 980px; /* adjust the width as necessarty */
margin: 0 auto;
then in your html page document add the following line in red just after the body tag:
</head>
<body>
<div id="wrapper">
Then at the bottom of the page add the following line in red just before the closing body tag..
</div>
</body>
So as you can see the wrapper div now encloses everything from the body tag to the closing body tag. This should center all the divs when previewed in a browser window. If you want anything inside any of the content areas etc to be centered, that's different again.
If this doesn't work for you, can you please upload your files to a server and provide a link, it's the only way people can check your page to see the code you have currently and offer any help :-) Otherwise, it's just a guess game to see whether you have correctly applied the css and the code.

When user clicks on the link, the values of some LOVs should be forwarded on the custom page......
I created a link through personalization... But I have doubt about how to attach the values of LOVs through url....
Is it possible to do the same???

Yes the LOVs are created through personalization....
Since i dint want to touch the code... so i created everything through personalization.....
The only problem now is to get the values of these LOVs in URL....
Is there no other method other then extension to do this???

try this steps:
1-surround the command button with panelGroupLayout with layout Horizontal.
2-In panelGroupLayout property select Style tab.
3-in the Text tab set horizontal Align with Center.
4-in Box tab set width with 100 Percent
if panelGroupLayout inside any other component make this palce width 100 percent and its Align Horizontal with Center.

Need help - How to load data which contains \r\n

We have a requirement wherein we need to load the data from a .dat file, with fields separated by | symbol and the line separator specified as '\r\n'
INFILE '/scratch/xyz/abcd.dat' "STR '\r\n'"
FIELDS TERMINATED BY '|' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '"'
Can you please help us load data which contains multiple lines in a single field to a database table field , keeping the line separator in ctl file as '\r\n' itself.
When we try bringing the '\r\n' within a text field enclosed in "" , the '\r\n' , sqlldr considers it as the end of that record and not as a data which needs to go into a column.
One option we have is to have the extraction process create the data in such a way that the fields with multiple lines , be brought in the .dat file enclosed in "" as
"Test
"|8989|abcd
where the new line in the first field is just '\n' .
Is there any other way in which the requirement can be addressed.

In addition, you would need to know the character set encoding of the csv files (e.g. the code page used).
Basically you need to have the facts about both client (csv file) and database character set.

If your active X has a visual component then you can't run it
inside forms on the web. If it is only running in the backend you
can use OLE2 Package to activate it on the server.
You can try and use Java Beans instead of your ActiveX they will
work in forms.
If your activeX can be embeded in an HTML page, you can call the
HTML page using web.show_document.

My try in English:
By the width (width) defines a block-level element, it prevents it from spreading to the right and left to the edge of the surrounding container. By setting the right and left outer distance (margin) to auto can be the element horizontally center. The element that accepts the defined width and divides the remaining outer spacing evenly.

I want to block a website that is harassing me please help

I want to block a website that is harassing me by popping up everytime I start firefox. I have already deleted cookies that I thought belonged to the website through firefox's browser but to no avail. This website creates its cookies as soon as I delete them. Then when I start/restart firefox browser the popup advertisement shows on my screen in a separate window all by itself. I cannot do anything to block this advertisement. I want to move my Website made on iWeb from computer A to a new Computer. How do i do that???

I got a new iMac and i want to move my website to my new computer. I made my website with iWeb. But i don't find the way to export into the iweb. Because when i satrt the iWeb it, give me the option to open a new site but i dont find the way to just pull the site i have already made. Can please some one help me out.

Once you get the domain file to your new computer you'll want to put it in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. However, in Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder. Then you can place the domain file in the iWeb folder. If there is no iWeb folder in that location create one.
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.

You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

SWF without presenting a horizontal scroll bar (in other words just like the example link).

Using CSS to center a website [subject edited by moderator]

I took advice on centring my website. In my Wrapper/Container Div I made left/right Auto, and selected relative. It worked fine.Then for some unknown reason it left justified, not it right justifies. Support says it is an CSS issue. Anybody help?

To center a web page, you need just 4 things:
a valid doc type declaration on the first line of your HTML. DW does this automatically when you create a new page from File > New...
a stated width in px, % or em that is less than 100%.
a margin-left and margin-right of auto.
default CSS positioning which is static or none specified.
Example CSS code:
body {
     border: 1px solid red;
     width: 80%;
     margin: 0 auto;
     text-align:left;
NOTE: This will not work with absolutely or fixed positioned elements.

The header line is always left-justified .
We basically have three options for formatting :
S , A and H.
every line in Alv top-of-page is of 60 char length(slis_listheader-info).so i think the only option we have is to add required spaces to the left and display the required string

In that case you need to find some hosting that offers Tomcat or JBoss Hosting, depeneds on they type of website you have.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

You said you updated yur 1G iPod to 4.2.1. A 1G can only go to 3.1.3 and thus you must have jailbroken it to get to 4.2.1 and that can cause problems.
