Help! I want to read data from a txt file

Question

the data file is like this:
b     a     v
c     d     s
c     c     d
c     d     a
c     c     c
d     c     d
c     c     c
the total number of rows is big.
How can I read it to an array without knowing the row number (array size)?

this is the part I finished.
It will stop at 1000th line (I gave the initial array size 1000.)
Is it because of this "for (int i=0; i<data.length; i++, k++) "
so it stopped at the original size?
