Help Implementing HTML OPTION with HTML

Hi:
I have a HTML page with the folowing code:
</SELECT></TD>
</TR>
<TR>
<TD width="156">Mode</TD>
<TD width="86"></TD>
<TD width="206"><SELECT name="mode">
<OPTION value="regmode" selected>REG Mode</OPTION>
<OPTION value="testmode">TEST Mode</OPTION>
<OPTION value="devmode" selected>Dev Mode</OPTION>
</SELECT></TD>
I need help to implement the OPTION using JSP and JavaBean,
For a simple text entry I am using the following code:
<input size=20 type=text name=userID value=<jsp:getProperty name="_welcomeJSPBean" property="userID"/>>
I am looking for a similar way to get all the posibles values for the HTML OPTION,
Thank in Advance.
Leonardo

This is why many of the tag libraries and frameworks exist. I use Struts, and it has html taglib that includes tags for automating select/option to a very high degree.
If the list is dynamic, you can use:
<html:select property="commtypeno">
  <html:options collection="commtypeList" property="commtypeno" labelProperty="commtype" />
</html:select>
Or, if the list is static, you can use:
<html:select property="commtypeno">
  <html:option value="1">Type 1</html:option>
  <html:option value="2">Type 2</html:option>
  <html:option value="3">Type 3</html:option>
</html:select>

  • [CS3,JS] [ANN] Major new version of JS Help as HTML

    I found compelling reasons to re-design my Help-to-HTML pages, and, while you are
    downloading the ZIP, why not read this:
    * It's Bigger! Or, rather,
    i smaller
    -- by putting display stuff into CSS (which you can edit locally if you don't like the view). The ZIP file is just 1,9MB, but contains more than 760 pages of Useful Stuff (and one page that isn't as useful).
    * It's Better! See the oh-so-important Hierarchy list, that attempts to show parent-child relations on the main classes. Be amazed as you discover formerly-unthought-of relationships between the objects.
    * It's Faster! Now with even
    i more
    links than before, including all class functions at the top for immediate browsing. Many items that listed 'any' as returnable objects are now expanded into hyperlinked lists.
    * It's More Colourful! The spurious use of the colour purple is guaranteed to make even Prince consider a come-back!
    * It's Free! Free of charge, free of advertising. Free for all to read and use (but
    i not
    to
    i abuse
    -- I reserve the right to mock any impersonators and plain copiers).
    * It has a Dedicated Windows version! Fellow script aficini.. enthousiast ABC GREEN converted this new version to a handy (and even smaller)
    Windows CHM version, which is even better searchable using Window HTML Help!
    What more can you ask? A plain text version, to enjoy in the privacy of your own plain text editor? An Adobe Text-Tagged version, to import into your desired lay-out, and to print it out and bind as a real book? Well, that's both possible, and I have done some ground work already on these. All suggestions are welcome.
    [Post-edit: I have created similar versions for Br,Ai,Ps,Js itself and ScriptUI. Perhaps I can make a Suite out of 'em. They aren't as spiff and complete as the Id version, though.]

    I already did versions for the other programs of the CS3 suite -- but that documentation is nowhere near as complete as that of ID, so it doesn't look as impressive. But yeah well, I mite as well put it onto my website. I'll package it, probably somewhere this weekend. Don't expect too much of it.
    As for the CS4 reference ... I'd love to get my sweaty hands onto a CS4 (awaiting the boss to make up his mind about an upgrade), or just the xml file with the necessary info. Anyone got a spare copy of omv$indesign-6.0-en_us.xml he's not using at the moment? ;-)

  • Digital Publishing Suite Help | Creating HTML articles for DPS

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/import-html-articles.html

    Hi
    I believe that the issue is that the HTML article will automatically start outside of your control, which is expected with HTML articles unless you code some kind of starting mechanism that responds to some reader action (tap a button, swipe somewhere, etc). To answer your other question, though, you can indeed use inDesign and control when the ad will start.
    In InDesign, you can set the delay to .125 for a Web Content overlay and it will then "fire" when it first comes into the reader's view. If you set it to zero (the default, by the way), then it will "fire" as soon as the article loads, which may not be when you expect, since DPS will preload adjacent articles in order to improve the reading experience. You can, therefore, put your HTML/jquery ad into a folder with an index.html file to drive it and then make a Web Content overlay in InDesign that points at the index.html file for your ad. Set the overlay to autoplay, and set the delay to .125 seconds. This way, your ad will always start when your reader swipes to view it. It also allows you to put the ad as an interstitial deeper in an article, and you can ensure it starts when the reader views it and not before.
    There is a cavet here, which is that the article will take some time to load, depending on the complexity of your HTML. As a result, your reader may see a spinning wheel on the screen instead of your ad while the ad begins to load. You should be sure to put a poster frame there that perhaps is a screen shot of the first frame of your animation. That way, when the ad loads, it will already have the first frame ready to go and will replace the first frame with the animation.

  • How can I use pdf pack to convert cubase documents  (music scores)  into pdfs? I am looking for the former possibility to install acrobat like a printer but i don't have this option with "pdf pack". Can you help?

    How can I use pdf pack to convert cubase documents  (music scores)  into pdfs? I am looking for the former possibility to install acrobat like a printer but i don't have this option with "pdf pack". Can you help?

    Hi mariab,
    What format are those music scores (I'm not familiar with cubase documents). But, it may be that Adobe PDF Pack doesn't support that format. In that case, Acrobat is the way to go. You can then print your files to PDF as you'd like. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days to see whether it's going to work for you. If you decide it is, and you'd like to use it going forward, you could convert your PDF Pack subscription into an Acrobat subscription.
    Best,

    qHow do u get help from apple support with iChat? I was able to chat with support last week to solve my problem but now the same issue is back and I don't see the option to chat now?

    For what it is worth I have noticed a similar issue from the iPad3 while at work and home. At work we have two Apple TV 3rd Generation installed and tied to our A/V system. I believe the issue has to do with a timeout on the broadcast saying "here I am" and allowing devices to connect.
    For example:
    At work we have several Wi-Fi SSID being broadcast from Cisco APs. The only one we can use with the Apple TV is the one that uses a WEP since the others are either setup to be hidden, require web page authentication, or have a login requirement from employees. Essentially, what I believe the issue is that the Apple TV periodically broadcasts a message to other iOS devices that support Mirroring. When the Apple TV does not get a response from a device it goes into a dormant mode and requires either a command from the remote control or a reboot. This has been tested with both the power management enabled and not enabled with the same results.
    As for when I come home, the Apple TV3 has not seen the device in some time and therefore is not broadcasting it's location information. A simple click of the circle or menu keys on the remote will give it the command to start broadcasting again and allow the iPad3 to see the Apple TV. When trying to Home Share the computer can not play (iTunes 11, Win8RTM) until the Apple TV is awoken then it will show up for mirroing.
    This may or may not assist you but, it hopefully explains how the issue may be happening.

    HI everybody i want to ask if you come me in help, i want to draw paths but when i use stroke options with pen or brush settings i loose quality when i zoom in , can someone help me with pen settings???

    The work path is a vector object, and infinitely scalable, but when you stroke it, Photoshop lays pixels on a layer that follow the path.  These pixels are raster based and can not be scaled without loosing quality.  You do have options.  If you want to make the raster layer bigger, transform the work path and stroke it again.  Or work at a higher resolution in the first place.
    Incidentally, you can't stroke a Path with the Pen, because it is a Vector based tool, and stroking is a raster based function.

    Regards, L.Mouillart

    I implemented SSO succesfully with EP 6 SP9 using Windows integrated authentication. Used IISProcy 1.5.0.
    It is two step prcoes.
    1) Configure ISAPI filter for IRJ
    2) Configure WebAS for Logon Module Stack. Create new module called HeaderVariableLoginModule.
    Complete following steps.
    1) Make sure you have IIS installed. Take a backup before the changes
    2) Installl ISAPI filter called IRJ.
    3) COpy IISPrxy files into the directory under Inetpub.
    4) Map ISAPI filter IRJ to the IISProcy ditrectory.
    5) Restart website to test ISAPI filter.
    6) Please make sure to add logging for IISProcy filter. This gives very good info.
    7) You can check the IisProxy.log file in the directory where you copied the IISProxy files.
    8) CHeck and make sure REMOTE_USER is populated in the IisProxy.log file.
    Configuration of WebAS server:
    1) Create new login module called HeaderVariableLoginModule
    2) Add this to the stack called ticket.
    3) Change BasicPasswordLoginModule to optional.
    Please use following URL for more details.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d0/a3d940c2653126e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    This should fix all your problems. Let me know how it went.
    Give me the points.

  • I need to able to print a pdf that is locked.  It has fields to fill in but then to save a copy I need to "print" to PDF not save as a pdf because that is not an option with the document.  Is there a way to do this?

    The PDF has fields to fill in but then to save a copy I need to "print" to PDF not save as a pdf because that is not an option with the document.  Is there a way to do this?  HELP!

    Sorry I thought  was just a one off, it would be no use for large volumes.
    Do you not have this avaiable in the print menu in Preview with these documents?
    I have also found a link on the Adobe web site that discusses that this facilty is enabled by the creater of the PDF.
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd61510979419 5ff-7e0d.w.html
    If you do a web search there are various claims on how to save a protected PDF, I have'nt a way to test the proceedures. I would want a copy of any forms that I sent off, not sure why they protect them in this way, there must be a reason.

  • Implementation of search with filters

    Can anybody help me to implement the search with filterexpression? I believe there was an implementation somewhere, but I can't find it one the web now.

    Check out this page on the JNDI Tutorial web-site

    It shows you the syntax of filter expressions and some sample code!

  • Implementing a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects

    Hi @all!
    First my aim is it to invoke a Webservice by a Client. As toolkit for developing this Webservice I use AXIS 1.0. This Webservice in turn should establish a CORBA connection to a third application.
    A direct access to the CORBA objects without the AXIS Webservice works fine. The Webservice without the Corba access is also running errorfree.
    When trying to implement a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects following fault was generated:
    "internal Server Error(500)".
    Are there known problems with AXIS in conjunction with CORBA?

    Okay here's the error log file:
    1000 of lines, which aren't very helpful for me.
    As ORB I use JacORB.

    Looking for a reading App.
    iPad (iOS 7.1.2) - Kindle.
    I am looking for a good app that can help a college student with reading books that cannot be found on audio book.  I have tried voice over and it works but it's very monotone and it really strings things together.
    - I'm willing to pay for a good app but I can't seem to sort though the many that are out there. Any suggestions.

    Ah. I'm surprised, but there we go.
    Have a look here ...

    (courtesy of googling 'OSX free multitrack recording software')
    Didn't have time to do more than skim, but 'Ardour' looked promising. Protools is the only one I've used, the full product is one of the industry standards, but the free 'lite' version listed here seems to be limited to 2 in/out as well.
    Referring to your original post, I'd think trying to write or 'script' something would be a nightmare ... synchronisation of streams within something like Applescript would be a major issue, quite apart from anything else.

  • How to implement fact tables with finest level of detail (fine-grained)?

    Hi,
    Maybe this is basic knowledge what I'm asking here... I don't know, well, here it goes:
    I need to know the way carry my transactional data to a fact table, but keeping the finest level of detail possible (namely, the transactions). I implemented my cubes with MOLAP option for storage (those were the specs that I had to follow) so I can't add a unique constraint to those structures.
    I only seem to be able to load aggregated, precomputed data. If I wanted to load the transactions (after the data has been transformed and clenased) where should I do it?
    I tried to implement a version of the fact tables as ROLAP but got nowhere (I couldn't add a unique constraint or index on that column either).
    I would really, really appreciate your help.
    Best Regards,
    osvaldo.

    Hi Veeravalli,
    Thanks for your reply :)
    Let me explain the problem in more detail. I have one Date dimension(Date_Code,Month_Code,Quarter_Code,Half_Year_Code,Year_Code). Here Date_Code is the PK.
    In F1---->Date (Using Month_Code key)
    F2-------->Date (Using Date_Code Key)
    Level based hierarchy is there starting from Year to Date.Each level has PK defined and chronological key selected.
    F1 has level set to Month and F2 has level set to Day.
    Now if i am using ago() function on measure of F2 (having day level data) then it's working fine but if i am using ago() function on measure of F1...I am getting an error at Presentation service: Date_code must be projected for time-series functions.
    So the whole issue is with time-series functions. As per my research...I think for time series the tables in the physical model containing the time dimension cannot join to other data sources, except at the most detailed level but here i am joining with F1(using Month_Code which is not the most detailed level).
    So kindly let me know how to achieve this in rpd?
