Help in Inserting more than 5 crores records to a table

I have a table which has nearly 6 crores records.
I want to insert those records to my new table.
Can anyone tell me how to insert it with less time?

I have updated using one table with no problem, however, when I try updating with the two tables/ multiple record sets, I get errors.

I have a MS access database with one table. The table has three fields. The

The second field contains string values- One out of 7 predefined values. One
set of records consists of 7 records containing all the seven types of
predefined values in fields no 1.
The third field is a numeric field and can contain integers.
I want that the user can enter data for the table using an ASP form in such
a way that he enters one set of records at a time in one single screen. This
way he will not have to remember that he has /has not entered all the seven
set of values for the field no 1.
I am not creating fields with the 7 types of field1value as their names as
it will increase the number of fields drastically.
Please help with inserting multiple records at a time.I have successfully inserted seven records in one form submit operation by looping through the command object execute method.
However, the data that is being inserted by the command object is repetition of the first record and the command object is not taking any data from the text boxes for the second record onwards. In this I had used the isert record behavious generated by DW CS4 and modified it to suit my requirement. However, the data inserted in the first row is getting repeated in all the seven rows.
Please help.
Also advise if there are any free dreamweaver server side validation extensions available. -

Insert more than one record in a transaction is costly or insert big record

I am using Oracle 10g on linux 64 bit
Could anybody tell me that currently my log tables in oracle has 22 columns out of 22, 20 belongs to rate from different lenders like
uuid,app id,lender1,lender2,lender3 .............,lender20
1,123,lender1_rate,lender2_rate,lender3_rate..............
In order to make it more readable and in order to include new lender dynamically we are changing this table to row wise so that we do not need to include new lender column in table
uuid,app,lender
1,123,lender1_rate
1,123,lender2_rate
1,123,lender3_rate
1,123,lender20_rate
but it will create instead of one record, 20 records for each app in a transaction.
Is it costly for insert. If it is then what should be the way.Hi,
It could be slightly costly to insert.
But it makes my design more flexible and my queries less costly and flexible.
I would use something like this as my columns.
uuid, app, lender_code, lender_rate

Unable to insert more than once into an Oracle table through ODI
Hi,
The scenario is I need to load a table which stores the contact informations (Phones).
The source data is such that the different types of phones come from different source tables (Home phone, Work Phone, Fax etc)
I have developed different interfaces in ODI based on the types of phones.
The issue is for the first time, if I run any of the interfaces it runs properly & the data gets inserted properly. Then if I run any of the other interfaces, it is unable to insert into the intermediate I$ table (I$_Phones) and is stuck there forever :-)
Is it an ODI issue or an issue with the database? I have manually copied the query and tried to load it into the intermediate table, but it didn't work.
Have any of you faced this type of issues in ODI ever? If so, are there any work arounds?
PS - I have checked whether I am dropping the intermediate flow tables after inserting the records.Thanks Ankit,
I was using IKM Oracle Incremental Update. The volume of data is around 300,000.
It didn't fail, It just took forever. It got stuck in the step "Insert flow in I$ table". (FYI, I have disabled the Flow control in the IKM).
Almost the same query ran properly and got the data loaded when its used in the initial interface. I have pasted the query below.

Internal table more than 1million record

I have one internal table. I want to fetch more than 1million records in internal table. But it gives error like storage error. Is there anyother way possible to fetch such high records from databse. Also I Came to know from my friend that it is easy to use Internal table for upto 10000 records.use the OPEN CURSOR, FETCH and CLOSE_CURSOR statements and make sure you
specify the package size.
Here is an example code.
PACKAGE_SIZE = 2000.

Cannot insert more than 4000 characters using PL/SQL SP to LONG columns
I have created a stored procedure which will insert more than 4000 characters in a table having long column.
The stored procedure body is as follows :

When I use the RPAD function as below, it executes without any error :

How to save more than 2 records at a time in tabular form?
I have a table name SAMPLE_TABLE, which has SNO,NAME items and one sequence name is SEQ_SAMPLE.
i have one form based on SAMPLE_TABLE. my form is in tabular format, which has 5 records.
in the layout wizard only NAME is displayed. SNO doesnot displayed.
in the layout wizard, there is one push button named as SAVE.
the code of SAVE button(When_Button_Pressed) is

my problem is :
when ever i want to save one record at a time there is no problem.
if i want to save more than 2 records at a time then sequence number is alloted for last record. other records have no sequence numbers.
for example i want to insert 2 names as XYZ,PQR then
the table look like this:

XYZ
if SNO is primary key then it doesnot work because of null value.
can any one solve my problem?

Its a WSUS Update Source type ({BCB9D60B-2668-459B-BFFD-6DDD11AADC53}), adding it
Existing WUA Managed server was already set (http://WSUSServername:8530), skipping Group Policy registration.
Added Update Source ({BCB9D60B-2668-459B-BFFD-6DDD11AADC53}) of content type: 2

Async searching of updates using WUAgent started.
Checked the
CI_UpdateSources table and found 2 Update sources unique ids:
{BCB9D60B-2668-459B-BFFD-6DDD11AADC53} Date Created 2011-01-11 03:47:52.000/Date Modified 2011-01-11 03:47:52.000
and
{A2762CA9-9739-4260-9C3A-DC4B36122E16} Date Created 2014-07-09 02:48:46.000 / Date Modified 2014-07-09 02:48:46.000
My questions:
Can I rely on the last modified/created date for inactive update source and delete it off the database? in this case can I delete {BCB9D60B-2668-459B-BFFD-6DDD11AADC53}?
When i browsed to the registry location on the Central Server
HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER i saw the update source as {BCB9D60B-2668-459B-BFFD-6DDD11AADC53}.
Does it imply that a stale record?

How to insert more than 12 items using BDC for MB1C

When we use LSMW for data transfer of MB1C transaction, more than 12 items can be inserted in a document.
But using BDC only 12 and below is possible, if the flat file system has more that 12 item, then the document is not created.

Master_detail for more than one record at a time
Hi,
How can i display master_detail records for more than one records at a time, for example, i have two tables A and B , A has username and role and B has username and profile. here i wanted to display 10 users at a time on my 6i form with username, role and profile.
i have created a master-detail relation ship with these tables when i'm executing F8 on blcok A , it displays 10 records on BlockA but, only one at a time on block B, how can i display all corresponding records on block B at a time.

I would assume that, for this sample case, you would want a list with 2 items, both of which are Person objects.
