right guys need a hand here! i can get videos onto my ipod no probs via videora and they start to play aswell, however the problem comes about 30 secs into the video. after the 30 secs the video just freezes with no sound, then continues shortly after with no sound! can someone please help meee!
first what you will need is ipod wizard you can get that from here http://www.ipodwizard.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
then go to this website and download ipod updater 1.0
http://www.soft32.com/download_121872.html this is ipod updater 1.0, download that version of ipod updater. follow these steps to downgrade ur ipod/upgrade it to version 1.0
0)Download ipodwizard
1)open up ipodwizard
2)plug in your ipod once u've opened ipod wizard click refresh status in the little box on the top right corner where it says iPodWizard Essentials
3)In that little corner after u hit refresh ur ipod drive or ur ipod name should come up in that little box that i told you about in step 2.
4)Once 1-3 are done click Downgrade Firmware twice.
5)Once you've done that unplug ur ipod and close iPodWizard
6)Now download ipod updater version 1.0 from the second website once u've opened 1.0 plug in ur ipod and click upgrade now you've downgraded/upgraded ur ipod. just to be on the safe side restore ur ipod and recopy every thing from itunes back to ur ipod.
I hoped this helps all of u guys

Need some help in saving video message from viber to my Iphone 5S with new ios 8's program . I disabled the thing that would save photos and videos automatically then, there comes a video I want to save. After loading and watching it, I press the "save to gallery" thing but it doesn't save in gallery. I tried all, restarting my phone, rebooting then turning on the save automatically thing and when I watch it again, it still wouldn't save.
Probably a good question to ask Viber or look at their support site.

Im trying to add photos to my Itunes library but every time I go to the file and add it...it just doesnt go into my library....also when I play videos the audio doesnt work. I need some help please!
You can't add photos to your library. iTunes is only used to set up the photo preference choose the location from which photos are added to the iPod. Have a look at the tutorial: Transferring Pictures to Your iPod
This might help explain your video problem: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files -
Hello,
I please need help with embedding videos from youtube. I do this via the Web panel (not the video panel) and copied the embed code on Youtube and pasted it into my Indesign CS6 (autoplay activated). I did it according to that helpful video: http://blogs.adobe.com/jlockman/2013/06/04/embedding-youtube-videos-into-your-dps-project/
However, when testing this on my iPad, only a white box appears and I cannot press a play button.Are you sure, that you changed code from youtube?
Code from youtube is:
src="//www.youtube.com/embed/KulFWmvbEu4
but you need to change it to
src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KulFWmvbEu4
For us, best result is to embed video via:
menu Object > Include HTML (don't know exact english name of menu), paste iframe code with correct http link and then it works. -
Can anyone help me move video from Sony HDR-XR550 to ipad 3gs via camera connector kit?
Can anyone help me move video from a Sony HDR-XR550 to ipad 3g via camera connector kit?
You can use iPhoto for the import. iLife apps are integrated. From within iMovie you have direct access to iTunes for adding music, and iPhoto for photos and videos in the iPhoto library.
Or you can use the Image Capture application for the import if you prefer placing such imports into manually created folders and not using iPhoto. -

I need a help in reading video file of 80MB into ...
Hello,
I need a help in reading video file of 80MB into a vector storing ByteArrays in it.Please help me soon.
Thank YouHello,
I was able to solve my problem by thinking & my code goes as follows.I am trying to read a video file in my program.
public Vector getFileMediaContent(RandomAccessFile fileObj){
Runtime runtime = Runtime.getRuntime();
System.out.println ("Free memory : inside Boolean Type Panel" + runtime.freeMemory() );
dataContent.removeAllElements();
System.out.println("dataContent :"+dataContent.size());
try{
int size=(int)fileObj.length();
if(size<2000000){
byte[] data = new byte[size];
fileObj.read(data);
dataContent.addElement(data);
data=null;
System.gc();
else{
int fixedsize=2000000;
int startindex=0;
int read=0;
int remaining=0;
while(read!=-1){
byte[] data=new byte[fixedsize];
read=fileObj.read(data,0,data.length);
dataContent.addElement(data);
startindex=startindex+data.length;
remaining=size-startindex;
fileObj.seek(startindex);
data=null;
System.gc();
if(remaining>0 && remaining<2000000){
byte[] data1=new byte[remaining];
read=fileObj.read(data1,0,data1.length);
dataContent.addElement(data1);
data1=null;
System.gc();
System.out.println("outside while");
System.out.println("dataContent 1 :"+dataContent.size());
System.out.println ("Free memory : inside Boolean Type Panel" + runtime.freeMemory() );
fileObj = null;
System.gc();
}catch(Exception e){
e.printStackTrace();
return dataContent;
Now I am not facing the problem of IndexOut of Bounds Exception But I am getting Out of Memory Error.
Can You suggest me to come out of this,.
As I know I have two solutions.
1.Make the objects Null which is using more space & call System.gc();
2.Increase the Virtual Memory of my System.
Any solutions other than this?
And How to Increase the Virtual Memory?Please do reply.
ThankYou -
Help with flash video buffering
I need help with flash video buffering. I've created a
buffering graphic to show up when the clip is loading. The problem
that I'm having is that when the video finishs playing, the buffer
is empty and the graphic pops back on. The following is the code
that I'm using to call and buffer the video. Any help would be
great!
stop();
var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
nc.connect(null);
var ns:NetStream = new NetStream(nc);
ns.setBufferTime(10);
ns.onStatus = function(info){
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Full"){
bufferClip._visible = false;
if(info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Empty"){
bufferClip._visible = true;
if (info.code == "NetStream.Stop") {
bufferClip._visible = false;
theVideo.attachVideo (ns);
ns.play("my_clip.flv");
rewindButton.onRelease= function(){
ns.seek(0);
playButton.onRelease= function(){
ns.pause();
}Again thank you for your help in advance...
I put the script folder into the root. As far as the .flv
file it is showing up as being "put" to my web server. when i
checked the root folder it is there. again i am having the same
problem.. the local view works but when i check it on the web it
just shows that there should be a flash video there but it does not
show up.
i created a new root for this test page the new link is..
http://www.wfwa.org/TESTindexfolder/TESTindex.asp
here are the files that are showing up in it...
flashprojectwebvid.fla
flashprojectwebvid.html
flashprojectwebvid.swf
PBSpromo.flv
SteelExternalPlaySeekMute.swf
TESTindex.asp
and the Scripts folder
thanks again for any help.. -
Hi,
We recently encountered a very strange issue that we urgently need help:
With FMS 3.5, we created a new live application according to relevant documentations. Within this application (main.asc), on periodically basis (e.g. 45 seconds), we use Stream.get('liveBroadcastStream').play('liveFeedFromFMLE', -1, -1, true) to (potentially) switch between different live feeds published by different FMLE. All work like charm except one annoying/important issue: sometimes (but not always), after a server-side call of Stream.play, we see severe stuttering/choppy video from flash client player.
Any help that will lead to the resolution of the problem will be greatly appreciated!
Some background information:
1. All testing were done within LAN environment with just a few machines which mean loads were very low; so we can rule out bandwidth insufficiency issue. Also CPU usages were low across all computers involved.
2. The stuttering and choppyness occurs with the 'liveBroadcastStream', not with the source stream which is 'liveFeedFromFMLE'. In other words, we used flash player to check out the source stream, and it looked fine.
3. When the video was jerky, the accompanying audio sounded OK.
4. We tried to set the flash client buffer length to be 15 seconds, and it did not help.
5. The stuttering occurs immediately after the Stream.play function call.
6. The described sympton occurs quite often, but not always. We were not able to identify the exact cause. It does not seem to show any easy clue.
7. In the repro case, we called Stream.get('liveBroadcastStream').play('liveFeedFromFMLE', -1, -1, true) every 45 seconds with no parameter changes.
Again, we are urgently waiting for professional help!
Regards.
XiaohaiThanks for your info. We are desparate for any help that we can get. We will do as you said, but it is a semi-production scenario and we are not allowed to set up debugging scenarios often.
We have spent tremendous amount of time trying to flush out the issue with no luck. What really frustrated us is that our application scenario is really simple, and yet it won't work as expected. We have downgraded to FMS 3.0.1 and it performs a bit better than 3.5. We have issue with 3.0.1 too. The stuttering video is still there, but player recovers eventually. That is the best we can get so far. As we investigate more, we become more convinced that FMS's stability is not up to production quality (sorry).
I simplified our application to the following and it is still problematic (pseudo codes):
Prerequisite: stream 'liveStream1' and 'liveStream2' published from to FMLE
FMS server side codes (pseudo codes):
function onPeriodicalCall ()
if (application.currentStream == 'liveStream1')
applicatin.currentStream = 'liveStream2')
else
application.currentStream = 'liveStream1'
Stream.get('liveBroadCast').play(application.currentStream, -1, -1, true);
application.onStart = function () {
setInterval (120, onPeriodicalCall);
With the above codes, the players shows stuttering video with each .play call. And sometimes, clients even could not play anything. When client can not play anything, we found it correlates to netstream not getting into data start mode (e.g. normally unpublish, stop, publish, start, but sometimes it only gives unpublish stop publish, thus lacking 'start'). -

I need some help with my video - need to blur some footage.
Hi!
I was wondering if somebody could help me out with my video. I've got some video footage downloaded from the internet (with permission, of course) and I was wondering if there is any way I could blur the clip and then have it slowly fade into focus. I know how to blur the video (the Gaussian blur effect), but I basically want it to look like I've filmed the footage myself and I'm slowly turning the focus wheel until the image is in focus.
Obviously it's quite easy to do in-camera but for my film I needed footage of animals and wasn't able to film any of my own so I needed to source footage online. It's really imperative to my production that I get this blur thing working so if anyone can please explain to me the easiest way to do it then I would be extremely thankful! (That's if it is possible at all... I sure hope so)
I've searched online but so far I've only been able to find videos explaining how to blur a small section of the image (e.g. blurring out logos, faces, etc)
Thanks a lotFor what you want to do, the 'Camera Blur' effect (Windows only)
will work much better than Gaussian Blur.
Add the effect to the clip (or to an Adjustment Layer above to the clip),
then use keyframes to change the amount of blur over a specified
period of time.

Need help with xml video gallery
Hello everyone
I recently bought a xml video gallery. I'm loading the movie externally into another movie. When the xml gallery loads, it cancels all sounds.
I need to figure out where in the actionscription can i reverse the cancellation of sounds. Can anyone help? if possible, I can email, whomever is willing to help, the xml gallery to see if theres another reason the sound is being canceled.
Also, the sound of the gallery doesn't work til you click the volume scroller.
Here are two parts of actionscript included in the gallery:
part one:

Help with adding video effects.
Okay, so I am very new with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, and decided to start working with video effects.
So far I can add an effect onto a video clip that I dragged down from the source monitor, but that applies the effect to the whole video track. I want it to start and end at a certain point.
I have read the Adobe Help Viewer on effects many times over and over, but still, I cannot get it to work.
I have set in and out put points in my Timeline, and went into the effects controls and peaked around, but have had no success at all with getting my effect to start and end at a certain point.
Can anyone help me out a little bit? I'm sure you are all Pro's at this, haha.You will also find links to many
free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
Cheers
Eddie

Time Capsule: Need help accessing my video surveillance DVR from the Internet.
I am using the latest 4th Generation Time Capsule attached to a DSL Modem. My 4 video Survilance DVR is connected to a switch then to the Time Capsule. How or what is needed to be able to access the DVR via the internet. I am able to access the DVR from within the home network only. Would appreciate some guidance.
Thanks in advance.Is the modem bridged?
If not and working in router mode then the TC should be bridged.. this will never work if you have double NAT.
Whichever box is the main router will need to forward the required ports for the camera dvr.. does the software use port 80 ie html?? That means you just forward port 80 to the IP address of the dvr. But find out the port.. the dvr instructions should tell you. Port forwarding on the TC.. ain't hard.. just google for the instructions. If the dsl modem is router, read its manual.
You will need to lock the ip of the dvr so it doesn't shift. Do that in the router if possible but I am not sure you can on the TC. You will need to do it on the device using a static ip.
The other thing is public IP .. do you have a static public address.. if not you will need to run dyndns. this is not available in the TC.. as most things are not available. So you will also need to check the dvr remote access instructions as it might have a dyndns client.. or you will have to use dsl modem as router even if you currently bridge it.
Sorry this is making it complicated.
Give some feedback and we can go from there.
What is the main router?
What modem is it exactly?
What make and model is the DVR? A URL to the pdf manual will help if it gets complicated.
What port do you use to access the DVR?
Is there a dyndns client in the dvr? -
Need help identifying this video format
A lady on the east coast made a documentary video but said that it was filled with pauses, for some reason. I told her that I'd import it into FCP and edit out the pauses for her.
So she mailed me the DVD-R, and I tried to play it on my Mac, but DVD Player won't open it (a message appears saying "The media type is not supported.") Nor will the DVD player in a TV I have. Quicktime Player doesn't recognize it either.
So I have to figure out how to play this thing.
When I put the DVD-R into the Mac's optical drive, the icon of a DVD appears on the desktop. When I double-click on the icon, a window appears with a folder labeled DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER
Inside this folder is another one labeled VIDEO_TS
Inside that folder is a bunch of gray icons with "Exec" on them, labeled VIDEO_TS_BUP, VIDEO_TS_IFO, VIDEO_TS_VOB, and several labeled VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB., etc.
Can anyone help me identify what format this video is in, and what sort of a player can play it?It's a DVD Video disc but it sounds like it was not "finalized" in the recorder that made it.
You might be able to extract the .VOB files (the only interesting parts) with MPEG Streamclip.
