HELP ME! My iphone 4 is frozen on the start up screen!
so it told me i had to delete apps to update ios7 so i was, then i turned my phone off and then back on again to jig it cos it kept telling met i still needed to delete apps. when i switched it back on, it just froze. its been stuck for ages now and help i need to fix it!!!

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

I had an app that wouldn't finish installing so i restarted my ipod touch 4th gen by turning off the device put when i tried to power back on my ipod doesn't get past the silver apple start up screen and my computer doesn't recognize it. I have tried to put it into recovery mode i've tried everything i could possibly think of. About every fifteen minutes the screen flashes white and tries to restart again with the same results. Can ANYBODY help me with this in any way.
This has happened to me but i don't know what to do because my Itunes kept closing down and it shut down half way through updating and it just comes up with a silver apple and it won't turn off and now it's just frozen and it also doesn't recognise it when i opened up itunes again after i reset it to the factory settings

By the slide to unlock screen, are you talking about the slider at the bottom of the screen after taking out of sleep mode?
And by trying the sleep/wake button and home button, are you talking about a reboot by holding both the power/sleep button and the home button until the apple logo appears and it reboots? And that does not help release the issue with the slider?
Are you sure the iPhone is well charged?
If none if this helps, have you tried syncing/backing up to a compter and then restore by iTunes on a computer?
If you cannot do any of this it would be good to schedule a visit to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs try their hand and diagnostics. -

You have to make an appointment with the genius bar at your local Apple Store for an evaluation.

The iOs 5.1 is a huge file that needs to be dowloaded when updating/restoring, your phone hasnt completed the update so its now in recovery mode. Look on the left of itunes, it should say downloads under the store section with a spinning wheel, click that and youll see the update file with a time remaining, wait for that download to finish then try the restore again and it should work

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

Make ur iphone in DFU mode, press the Home and sleep key together for 15 secc than just release the sleep key and continue pressing home key for 15 sec. the iphone will be in DFU mode , ur iphone screen will show u connect to itunes logo. Than connect it with itunes and there you r back on track.

my new iphone 5 is frozen, with the cord to computer symbol on the screen after failing to finish updating to ios 7. iTunes no longer sees the phone. I've tried rebooting the computer, rebooting the iPhone, but iTunes still doesn't see the iPhone.
If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

After updating to iOS 5.0.1 my iphone 4 is frozen on the screen with the apple logo and the progress bar under it. Held the power and home button, the phone shut off, and restarted the progress. If i try to turn the phone on, it keeps telling me to connect to iTunes. Once I do, it asks me to restore, i click restore, but it keeps on freezing at the screen. What is the problem? Error 1603 comes up. Followed the link to apple's page but nothing that was said there worked.
