HELP! Need a (cheap or free) recovery program...

I formatted my SD card before I imported a few videos and really need to find a way to recover them. I haven't taken any new pictures on that card, and shoudl be easy to recover, if I can find a program.
I always import the photos into Aperture and then import the videos into Final Cut Pro X...this time I forget to import the videos before I did the quick format.
I did some of the demos that you can find online, and can see the files I need. I just am hoping to not have to pay 50 bucks to grab a few videos.
Does anyone know of any freeware / shareware / or any other way I can recover these files??

Help needed with operating java on other programs

I have a fairly difficult (I think) question.
I am trying to create a program to enact itself on other programs.
It needs to perform 4 functions.
1) Open an exe (such as notepad)
2) Use the exe to open another file (such as a .txt)
3) Find the color of a specific pixel on the screen (ie, (300,800)) and
4) Pull a number from a field in the program
I would apprieciate any help on this, whether in the form of an answer, or a url that could help me with it.

Help need on System setup for java programming

HELP BADLY NEEDED!
I recently installed java (jdk version8 152mb) on my HP630 win7 because i want to learn java. But when practising, after using notepad to code samples like "Hello Word" and saving it with .java format, it still cannot run on my pc.
Pls i think i need a complete and comprehensible guide on how to install and prepare my win7 laptop for java programming.

Hello,
one suggestion is to ensure your system's environment PATH has the Java installation path included, so that it knows where to look to run Java.
(See attached pix).
1st) Find out where Java was installed to on your system: For example, on my Win7 PC, Java was installed to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Java' directory.
However, my path to the actual binaries is 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin'; this is the value I added to my system PATH.
2nd) Check what your System's PATH has: You can do this by looking at the Environment Variables under System Properties:
1) Search for Control Panel, then go to System & Security, then to System, then to 'Advanced System settings'.
2) Click on 'Environment Variables...'
3) Under the 'System variables' pane, use the scroll bar to find 'Path', and click on 'Edit...'.
4) Here is where you add your Java path (as noted above): Note that I appended my java path to the existing Path text, taking care to separate the previous path with a semi-colon (';').
For example, this was my existing 'Path': "C:\Program Files\CollabNet\"...and now it looks like this 'C:\Program Files\CollabNet\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin'.
5) Click OK, OK, OK out of all those dialogs.
Now..restart your JVM or attempt to run your Java program!.

Help needed - Can't access OneKey Recovery restoration option after system reboot,

I run OneKey Recovery, after I choose "recovery", and system reboot.....system automatically log in Windows 7 again, rather than access OneKey Recovery restoration option.
I am using G570 and OneKey Recovery version is 7. this issue never happened before, it always reboot to OneKey Recovery restoration before....please help. Thanks

You shouldn't need Command + R since the Option key will present you with the Recovery boot volume. Seems something is amiss there, I'm willing to bet you may have been using a wireless keyboard.

Help needed to get my free CS6 upgrade

Hi fellow Photoshop users, I like others made the forced late 2011 CS4 to CS5 upgrade. Now I have seen where Adobe revised their policy about upgrading qualifications. I feel that I am warranted a free upgrade to CS6 because I was informed it was manditory at the time. Please reply back with stratgey to get Adobe to comply. I have opened support cases only to have Adobe close the cases without any reason or information. Thanks!

I am really disappointed in how Adobe handled the upgrades for the CS6 Photoshop. It is all really unfair... and I do really feel "coerced"
I was told 5 weeks or so ago that I could not upgrade from CS4 to CS6 without upgrading first to CS5. NOT in 2011... just a few weeks ago.
I knew I wanted CS6 as I had purchased the CS4 Masters Collection a couple of years back.(for thousands of dollars)
So...in order to upgrade I purchased a legal boxed CS5 upgrade disc on Amazon for $179. But when I tried to upgrade I it would not take because I was upgrading from a Collection. I hadn't realized that I would need to purchase a CS5 Collection upgrade. I hardly ever used ANY of the other programs outside of Dreamweaver and I really didn't need any Dreamweaver updates for what I do. But I went ahead and bought a smaller Collection CS5 upgrade that included both Photoshop and Dreamweaver as well as a couple of other programs that I will probably never even open, for $519.00!!!
Luckily I knew a friend who was also using CS4 and he said he would buy the Photoshop CS5 upgrade from me for $150. I wasn't happy to lose the $29 plus shipping but such is life. A week later, my friend called and said he hadn't installed the upgrade and that NOW...because of a uproar among Photoshop CS4 users, Adobe was allowing a straight CS4 to CS6 upgrade and that he would return my disc to me. :-(
So now I have spent some $698 dollars and I still only have a trial version of CS6 and and a legal CS4>CS5 upgrade disc that nobody wants or needs anymore.
Today my CS6 Trial expired. I do like it and I want it, but I have already put out a considerable sum of money trying to get it. I have been putting off dealing with this because it is surely a total PIA... I really feel I have been ripped-off on this.
Now it looks like I am supposed to put out another $199 to upgrade my CS5 to CS6... So ultimately I would be paying $897 to upgrade to Photoshop CS6... the ONLY program I really wanted to upgrade to begin with. (actually probably more because they will probably want me to freaking upgrade to a CS6 Collection update for another outrageous amount... )
I am surprised that Adobe would treat long time customers so poorly... as Mylenium suggest they should... and Sidney Brock says has occurred.

Help needed with delay timer in my program

In my program i want to delay the program for a certain time and then carry on. Below is what i have done.

In this program the "testarray" contains "long" numbers which represent the times i want to delay the program at. "length" is the length of the array (which is correct as i have tested it), the "On" and "Off" classes turn certain pins on and off at the parallel port (which work as i have tested it).
My problem is that when i try and run my code above the pin come on once and then stop. It doesnt go on and off like i want it to.
If anyone know how to take times from a array in "long" format, then turn the pin on, delay it for the time in the array, then turn off the port and do all this again as long as there are still times left in the array could you please help me

I have a .jsp program running in my Jdeveloper which when executed pops a window to browse and select files and with few custom options .
But i want to execute that Program from within UCM (create a new jsp page in UCM OR provide link ? i am not sure .... ) , could anyone help on how i can execute/run the program from UCM ?

If your jsp makes use of jars you may want to look into using a WAR instead. You can check the WAR into content server and there is even a link on the administration page for JSP Web App Admin. Treating the JSP(s) and jar(s) as an entity may be a more successful path for you.

Urgent help needed as is duty free purchase cannot find my library

I purchased 16Gb Touch and downloaded on wi fi ITunes account 64 songs last night - today Apple told me to update to latest version which I did and then said there was a a problem with Ipod and to restore which I did reluctantly - I now have no music on my Ipod and cannot find library or music on my ITunes - it says there are two downloads available but when I click to download it says ITunes store temporarily unavailable and has said that for over 24 hrs. I leave tomorrow and need to know this thing is working!! Thanks - perhaps advice on how to retrieve the music I have paid for!! Can't seem to get help by phone or email

You didn't sync the iPod to back it up prior to updating/restoring? A must-do, for future reference.
What you'll likely have to do is email iTunes customer service and ask to re-download these songs.

It typically takes them 24-48 hours to respond to requests, so be patient if you haven't heard back from that yet. In the meantime, we should get the "iTunes store unavailable" message resolved, so that if/when the purchases are back in your download queue, you can download them again.

If there is any chance of recovery at all your best bet is Prosoft Data Rescue 3 . There is a free trial to see if it can recover what you need. But don't do another process on that drive until you've downloaded and run it.
That means that ideally you should use another bootable drive to download and run Data Rescue. Or booted from another Mac in firewire mode. Also, there is always the option of ordering or going to the store to purchase the DVD. Then running from the optical drive.

A short rundown on my situation...
I have AVG virus protection and run scans at least 3 times a week. Unfortunately, some nasty malware got loaded from the web and I couldn't get rid of it. As soon as I downloaded the free Adaware program, I lost almost all capabilities and control of .exe files and multimedia files. I can not run any program other than Windows Internet Explorer (I always use Firefox) including administrative controls in the Control Panel. Before I lost control of my laptop, I performed 3 system recovery's without any success. Are there any ways to get my computer back on track or do I need to order the hard drive reformatting software?

do your laptop come with recovery media or did you make it yourself? did you try holding zero(above P) during boot to get into the system recovery partition? if zero doesnt work you will need to order recovery media. order online or call 1(800)457-7777

Had you never backed up the phone before? When you saw the iTunes logo and cable, the device was in recovery mode. The data was already lost. The only way to recover from that is to restore the device, which will delete all of your data. You will only be able to restore to your last backup, whenever that was. Sorry this happened, but this highlights the importance of doing regular backups. The backup is the only protection you have against a problem like this.
