Help Needed Trying To Publish To Web

i am new to this so go easy!
i have oracle portal running fine, with a basic installation linking to another machine runnnig the db. all is working great - and i have developed a small site which is pulling through data correctly etc - and looks great.
the server name it is running on is "SVORAAS" so to access and do any development ive been typing into the browser "http://svoraas/pls" and then loging in etc. i have set different users up with correct access etc.
now - i have registed a domain name - and this machine is behind the fire wall with ip 212.58.xxx.xx and name www.clixxx.co.uk
however what do i need to do so that the oracle apps server "serves" to www.clixxx.co.uk so i can type in to any browser on the internet http://www.clixxx.xo.uk/pls and be able to login to see the stuff i have done
i have played around with http.conf files and numerous other things like DAD/SSO's etc which i have no idea about!
basically i want to be able for people on the net to have access to the stuff ive developed! surely this is normal - but i cant find anything to help me out!

Have you tried connecting to another FTP server in Lightroom?
For example, if you get a free Flickr account, can you login to it and upload a file to it?
If you can't upload to any server, then you have a general FTP-in-Lr problem, but if problem is only with BC then, well, it's time to start scrutinizing the BC settings..
PS - All my FTP'ing plugins have an enhanced FTP settings test feature designed to help you debug FTP settings, so another option is to download one of them, for example:

and experiment with settings tester:

Error while trying to publish a web service in UDDI client

i m getting this error when trying to publish my web service in UDDI client.I have
configured my uddi client using Visual Administrator.I created a local test registry.The name of my registry is QuickCarRentalRegistry_Local.I created this at admin level.I also tried at level 1 Tier.But it was giving the same error.
The error is "<b> Internet Explorer Script Error</b>".my ie version is 7.0
In my alert window it displays error: 'ur_txt' is undefined.

Trying to publish a web gallery using iPhoto '08 version 7.1.1.

I have recently been getting the following message while trying to publish a web gallery through iPhoto:
Request to the server http://publish.me.com failed.
And all the pictures go "pending" without ever getting published. My mobileme membership is current and I make sure I am online while I try to publish. I have published web galleries before, this has happened only recently.
Any ideas?

I'm receiving the same issue. I haven't tried to upload a new gallery for awhile. The only change (although a big one) I've made to my system since was upgrading to Snow Leopard. I'm still running iPhoto '08 and my mobileme account is current.

Help needed in XML Publisher rtf file

Hi,
My RTF is like, In first Page I will get Customer details, after that in the same page I will get invoice details, You can find my RTF srtucture from fallowing.
Customer Name Phone Number:
Address
Invoice_Number Inv_Date Inv_Amount
My RTF output is fine. But I have another requirement like if Invoice details are going to second page then I need to show message 'Continued' in the first page bottom right side, I need to show this before the last page.
How can I control the number of Invoice lines per each page and how can I show that 'continued' message?
Could you help me in this?

I m currently trying to configure web application with sun web server7.0 on solaris machine in 64 bit mode.
I compiled source with -m64 which generated 64 bit for me. And m using the generated library to configure by editin magnus.config.....
Same things are working in 32 bit..

looks like , the server is unable to find libgcc (or any of its dependent libraries in the path ) and hence unable to load.
now, you can address this in multiple ways
- export LD_LIBRARY_PATH to your 64-bit location of libgcc libraries
1.
for eg on solaris 10, you can do something like
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sfw/lib/sparcv9 (or amd64)
you will need to do this every time to start the server.
or
2. use Studio 11 to compile this NSAPI plugin.
this way, you don't have to worry about manually exporting LD_LIBRARY_PATH while starting the server.

Help needed on MDM Publisher

Hi,
I am new to SAP MDM and exploring the MDM publisher. I am able to load the layout server and I am able to see the data in publisher family console but not the page layout. Do I need Visio for that? I currently do not have visio installed.
I am able to save publication but when I try to edit the in-design or quark-express template, it says that "initial template does not exist". I am not sure as what i am missing here as i have installed the quark-express plugin.
Also i am stuck at the point where i can integrate it with The DTP application and can view some catalog or actual material which I can print. Any pointers / help/ documentation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Help - need Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium Mac OS Installation Disk 2

Hey there,
Hoping someone can help me out on here. I recently moved and purchased a new computer and went to reinstall CS4 only to find that I am missing installation disk 2. As Adobe no longer supports the media for this, they reccomended that I contact someon ont he Adobe Forums who might be able to assist.
Just need the Application Disk 2 for the Mac OS of CS4.

Contact Adobe Technical Support. Installation problems for current versions of the suites and applications are resolved without charge. Despite the fact that 16MB of video memory is beneath stated requirements, it is unlikely that this particular shortcoming is what is causing your problems.

More issues with 7.4.1 & 7.4.2 - help needed : tried the usual fixes.....

I have the dual band 2.4 or 5GHz model AEBS, Belkin powered 4 port hub, Canon IP1600 printer, 40GB & 120 GB HFS+ USB drives. Win 7 64bit & XP machines.
I only 2 weeks ago did the FW upgrade.
With prior to these 2 FW's, i had issues with my printer not printing the whole page, it would always cut mid last line and then freeze. Had to cycle the printer to get the page out. It would not necessarily print the 2nd time either. The HDD's going through a hub worked fine. I updated to 7.4.1 hoping that would fix the printer issue, it did not. I then began getting "disk repair needed" on both HDD's over the next week; culminating upon both HD's going corrupt.
I reformatted both and moved all my music/movies back, and all was good for a week. Then today, turned both drives on at different times, and both need disc repair again.
So i unplugged them and hooked them up to my Linux Mint rig, and there was no apparent corruption, and all the files were playable.
SO I updated to 7.4.2 tonight, and the printer issue is still happening. BUT the 2 HDD are just fine now, after the update....so this leads me to think there was/is an issue with the router? Oh, i tried to directly plug the HDD into the router as well b4 the most recent update but still disc needs repair....of course they have been working fine for the last 2 hours...
Anyone have any ideas? Im ready to pull my hair out...Thanks in advance.

Since updating my iPhone 5S (T-Mobile) to both 8.0.1 and then 8.0.2 I've had more issues than I've ever had with any iOS in the past (with the exception of iPhone 4 running iOS 7, but clearly that is an older phone, not a 1 year old model like the 5S). Have tried resetting, powering off, etc too by the way.

Help needed trying make thumbnails from large Image Files

I posted this to the Flex message bored, too. I didn't notice
the Actionscript 3.0 until after. Sorry. Anyway, I have some
ActionScript 3.0 code, created with Flex that will load a large
JPEG image (say 3000x2000 pixels) that I'm trying to create a 100
pixel thumbnail. I have the code working where I generate the
thumbnail, but it's not maintaining the aspect ratio of the
original image. It's making it square, filling in white for the
part that doesn't fit.
I've tried just setting the height or width of the new
image, but that doesnt render well, either.
To see what I'm talking about, I made a screen shot, showing
the before image, and the rendered as thumbnail image:

Now, there's a few things important to note. I'm saving the
thumbnail off as a JPEG. As you can see in my sample application,
the original renders fine with the proper aspect ratio, it's when
I'm copying the bytes off the bitmapdata object, where I need to
specify a width and height, that the trouble starts. I've also
tried using .contentHeight and .contentWidth and some division to
manually specify a new bitmapdatasize, but these values seem to
always have NaN.

I am not sure what you mean by this question.
You can submit from PL/SQL to an external webpage/website using the UTL_HTTP package.
You can submit from an external webpage to a PL/SQL package if that package is invoked by you webserver. The most direct way is using the MOD_PLSQL module for Apache that Oracle ships as HttpServer and that is the foundation for Oracle Portal and HTML DB. Alternatively your webpage can submit to a JSP that invokes your PLSQL package through JDBC.
