HELP~~ NO multi selection for camera roll ??
i got this issues that no multi selection for camera or album?sometime i did shoot too many photo,when come del or share i totaly freak out!! one by one this make sick,any one know how to do that ??

What is the best way to delete photos selectively from camera roll.
I have thousands of photos on my camera roll. I do know you can select individual photos to delete off the roll and you can select more than one at a time but is there a better way? I keep hoping there would be a way to select groups of photos from my camera roll while my phone is connected to my macbook pro through iphoto. I was told you are only able to delete photos on your phone via your phone basically one at a time.
I import the photos from my iphone onto my macbook pro but I like having many of them on my phone to share at will etc.. I'm not sure how image capture will help me to delete many photos at one time quickly off my phone as opposed to the only way I know which is to select each photo, selecting as many as I like on the phone itself and deleting. It just seems one could do this via the macbook pro with the phone attached much easier.

IOS 7 multiple mass photo selection in camera roll

or is the ios STILL not giving us this feature with version 7?
other apps, like "photosync" for example, can do it easy (double-tap on a pic, then the next pic tap selects it & ever pic in between), so why can't the main photos app yet?
and please, i've researched the heck outta this for the past 2 years, and i KNOW about plugging in & using Image Capture to do it.
and no, the "delete all" option from settings doesn't work in ios7 like it did in ios6.
either this, OR, does anyone know of an iOS app that will let you do this with your camera roll & delete the selected pics/vids?
i'm guessing apple doesn't allow for that, but who knows.

"Select All" and "Select Multiple" were invented in the 1980s.
It's hard to believe that, in the 21st century, we're tapping individual items one at a time, or connecting to additional devices in order to delete multiple items.
It's a massive usability kludge. -
When you back up your Iphone/Ipad it backs up your camera roll. but when you take pictures and it uses photo stream, does that mean there are two copy's of your photos on icloud one set for photo stream and one set for backups?
What do you mean by storage quota, does that mean i could be photo streaming about 1gb of photos and it does not get taken away from my free 5bg.

Developer question. App for camera roll and airplay

My question is, how would one go about to write an app that can gain access to the Camera Roll videos, begin playing it, and put in this code to allow for streaming videos shot with the iPhone to the Apple TV2? I know that it can't go in the AppStore, I really just want something I can use personally to instantly put videos up on the screen of my 1 year old son. Any ideas?Just installed and tested the updates for the iPhone 4 and ATV.
When airplaying videos from the iPhone 4 to ATV, all videos in the iPod App, videos section, can be airplayed with no problem. However, for videos in the "photos" app (ie: videos you've recently taken with your iPhone camera), there is simply no airplay button. The still photos have an airplay button, and can be airplayed to your ATV with no problem. But the videos cannot. This is odd and disappointing for me, because this was the feature I was most excited about: Taking a video of my 7-month-old son with my iPhone 4 at one point during the day, then airplaying it to the ATV to show my wife and others later in the day, without having to bother to synch my iphone to my computer, put the video into iTunes, and navigate to it on the ATV. -
Wrong usage space for camera roll.
HI,
I am on holiday now and needed to cree up some space on my ipad2 (32GB).
so I started to upload all of my photos and videos in my camera roll to BOX
but strangly when I then go to Usage in Settings I don't see that the space is removed, even if I did removed all my photos and videos.
it says it has 800Mb occupied, while that it is impossible as it has only one file of 260MB present.
how is this possible? i have shut down my ipad several times and booted up again, but no luck.
WHat is the cause and especially how can I solve this?

I found the solution:
I installed the app IEXPLORER on a PC.
I went to the DCIM folder and opened each folder. If you find files with a name like ALLPATH, then you delete that folder.
it seems that happened when you try to import photos using the Gizmo to connect SD cards.
also under another folder Thumbnails, you will have to do the same.
I Just did it today and have recovered around 750MB. And it were all photos which. I tried to import before but failed.
it seems that when you import and fail and then try agin. It keeps the old files and doesn't delete it.
hopefully it helps all the people there.

I dont think this can be done.
In the columns, you can use EVMBR function. The user can select the member. Accordingly, the data cell should fetch the value using EVGTS. However, you need to make sure that your column represents only one dimension. So, you need to use the other dimensions judisiously in the EVGTS function.
The problem comes now. You cant override the data cell with some other value, because that cell has a formula. If you write some value in that cell, the EVGTS function gets overwritten. And if you cant write value in the cell, then what will you send.

I have lots of photo albums on my iPhone. They came from my computer. I'm never given the option to delete these albums - I can tweek them or send them, but no delete - not even the individual photos. I no longer want these - and I no longer have these on my computer. I understand that I can't transfer back to my PC, but I would think that I could at least delete them off my iPhone.
Did you try unchecking Sync Photos on the Photos tab of your sync settings and syncing? If this doesn't remove them, try creating an empty folder on your PC, then selecting to sync this folder on the Photos tab and syncing your phone. This should delete the existing photos prior to syncing the empty folder.
Also, you can transfer these photos to your computer if you need to by using an app like PhotoSync. -

Need help on multi select field
Hi ,
1. I have created a meta datafield which is multiselect. Lets say product list,it lets user to select multiple product.
2. Now, this feature I have created at the check in form, and the meta data field used is of type "memo".
3. This meta data field internally uses a "product_list_V" view which is again "muliselect" with option for multiple names separated by comma.
4. Now when I check in, and uses this meta data field it stores and displays the data in the info page correctly like "product1,product2,product3" in this way.
4. But internally I am using Id to store not the name for the products.
5. Now when i search using the query or using the search builder it doesnot pull up the record.
6. But if i give the same pattern of the value it puuls up the result. For example, if the value(product id) stored is 5,9,12
and I give this in the query like xIndustry <matches> `5` <OR> xIndustry <matches> `9`<OR> xIndustry <matches> `12`----it doesnot pull up the record.
7. But if I give the query as xIndustry <matches> `5,9,12` same pattern it pull up the record.
8. Since the record has the id it should pull up if any match found as per to the id which doesnot happen.
Can any one tell me or guide me on how to implenet this.
Need very urgently.

As well as "contains" word is not in the UCM search query builder form. Only we have the options are matches, starts, ends, Substring, Not Matches, Not Substring.

Need a little help with antenna selection for a COW

Ok, so I've gotten myself a little confused here and would like some recommendations. We are ordering new COWs (Computer On Wheels) for the hospital and they will be using an Intel 6205 Wireless Chip which is a/b/g/n 2x2. The two new floors these devices will be going on will be our first internal hospital entry into 802.11n which I force the clients to run in the 5ghz range for N. Previous to this, all of my cows are G clients and use a 2.2dbi rubber duck for 2.4ghz. I will be using 1142 AP's, if not 3502 and no I have not performed a survey yet as the floor is still in early construction, but equipment is required to be ordered now. I can tell you that I will be surveying for a voice grade. I suppose my confusion comes from what is the best antenna (obvious open ended question) for this card, being it has two connectors for the 2x2. Again, typically I would use a 2.2 dbi rubber duck for either 2 GHz or dual band 2/5 GHz. Is dual rubber ducks at 6inch spacing (half wavelength met on 2.4 GHz fall back) suffecient or are there other factors involved with the N.

RaunI guess I'm under the impression that if you put a dual band antenna on a device, regardless wether it's a 2.4 radio or 5GHz radio, that the antenna would work, as it's well, dual band. Am I wrong in that assumption leolaohoo?
I have heard back from wyse today with a little information on their provided antenna, but no radiation pattern. This antenna would be referred to as the 'rubber duckie' style 'dipole'. I'm not really having much of a choice as it stands now, as I am limited on space(height) to place the antenna and time (chinese new year for manufacturer). However, one other question. I note that the 1142 and 3502's are horizontally polarized and this omni is vertically polarized. With my limited understanding of antenna's, that's not a good thing... what is the typical associated 'cost' of a vertical to a horizontal?

Hello iv just recently transferred 3600 photos to my phone from my laptop. But when i go to upload a picture to facebook it only seems to go to my camera roll to choose a picture not my 3600 pictures.
can somebody please help :-(I am having same issue! After May 14 FB update, I can't choose ANY photos from my photo library to upload to FB mobile. It's ONLY allowing me to select from Camera Roll. It works from ipad and ipod, just not iphone 5? I used to get choices from all of my photos in Photo Library. And it has nothing to do with the privacy settings, etc that users experienced with update to IOS6. Everything is enabled and WAS working prior to may14 FB app update. Funny thing is, on the May 13 update that FB had it worked fine. When they did May 14 update, that was it. I've sent and posted notices on those discussion boards too. Hopefully they will fix soon.

Hi Sir Kelpie,
The Camera Roll on your iPad only contains pictures that you have taken with your iPad. To get pictures to download from your computer, you need to sync your iPad through iTunes, and sync whichever photos you have selected to be sync'd on the Photos tab.
Once you attach your iPad to iTunes, look at the photo tab. There you will see options to sync Albums, Events, etc. Select what you want to sync, and then sync them to your iPad.

Ok really need help! Added photos from camera roll to other albums all on iPod not computer. Now I want to delete some from camera roll but the only option I am given is to delete everywhere which is what I don't want to do! Please tell me what I can do
Well you can sync your iPod/iPhone to yur computer or laptop then take the photos off of your iPod like taking photos of of a SD card (from a normal camera) or off of a USB..! Good Luck. plz tick this saying This solved my question if it helps you.

the options seem to be there, they are just greyed out and i cant click on them.
at first i thought its because the images were too big, so i tried it with smaller images but same thing.
