Help required in JDBC to RFC to JDBC

Hi Guys,
I have a requirement where I'll query my database which will give me back multiple rows. Each row has a flag which indicates CREATE,DELETE or MODIFY.
According to the value in these flags, I have to call different BAPI's i.e
BAPI_CREATE
BAPI_DELETE
BAPI_CHANGE
After calling the BAPI, I need to insert the response back to my database.
My design logic is
Inside my BPM, receive my jdbc message and do multimapping transformation with the 3 BAPI types and bundle them.
After this , I need to use a BLOCK for each STEP where I'll insert the sync send step
Bundle all the response messages obtained so far and call the jdbc transformation
Guys I need your help in suggesting any changes in my design
Am i approaching this situation in the right way???

Varun,
Just one thoought over your design....
Rather than calling BAPI's for every row, just send all rows to the abap proxy or zbapi.
You can process all your rows at a one time ( which I think would be better design and fast processing) and gather all response from Individual BAPI's for every row in one internal table and send it back to XI as BAPI's response message.
In this way you can avoid BPM as well..which will be more faster.

i have a requirement where i need to update the Database table using Stored Procedure from PI.
I have the receiver JDBC channel and have done the mapping.
The stored procedure has inputs of type NUMBER, VARCHAR2,DATE. in the message mapping i tried passing the same values in the type field, it throwed an error like UnSuppoted Format. Then i changed the type to integer for NUMBER and String for Varchar2 then also it is throwing an error like

Can any please help with what type i need to send from PI to Stored procedure?
Also, there two out type fileds defined in the Stored procedure..which i didnt create in my PI structure. Do we need to create that fileds in our structure?

Hi Hemanth Kumar,
I understand that you want to execute a stored procedure using JDBC receiver channel and looking at error message, you think there is an issue with type defined in Data Type.
Now you need to debug step by step.
Step 1:- In Interface Mapping Determination, do not refer to Operational Mapping (delete only OM from there, not the receiver Message Interface). By doing so, you are not call the OM (which refer to Graphical Mapping (MM refer to Data Type (which you think is wrong)). Note: As there is no OM, we need to send the exact payload required by receiver JDBC from Runtime Work Bench, for testing purpose.
Step 2:- In receiver JDBC channel, change u2018Message Protocolu2019 from u201CXML SQL Formatu201D to u201CNative SQL Stringu201D. By doing this, you can do testing very fast; receiver JDBC channel will take only String. And we need to send the exact String which is needed by JDBC Stored Procedure. Step 3:- Now from RWB test the scenario. Payload should like this, please take help of Data base team to find the String which needs to send.
EXECUTE PUT_uspAddress @City = 'New York'
OR If you have access to the database, logon to it directly and try running the Stored Procedure.
Step 4:- Now, you should have the string which executes the Stored Procedure correctly to go ahead. Your job is 60% done.
Step 5:- Now, in receiver JDBC channel, change u2018Message Protocolu2019 from u201CNative SQL Stringu201D to u201CXML SQL Formatu201D. So that receiver JDBC channel will take only XML.
Step 6:- So now, you have to construct equalant XML structure to String you got in Step 4.

Step 7:- Now use the XML you have constructed in Step 6, to test the scenario from RWB. Try to correct if you come up with some errors. Your job is 90% done.
Step 8:- Now, in Interface Mapping Determination refer back the Operational Mapping again, which contain the Message Mapping. Make sure that Message Mapping give the XML output same as XML you have developed in Step 6.
FYI. 1. Whatever youu2019re sending, it will be converted to JDBC statement and will be executed on the database. logSQLStatement(JDBC Additional parameters sapnote_0000801367) will be show in logging not in payload.
2. Most of the cases, type defined in Data Type has no control of what we can send in that element (except Date type). Let say, you can define an element u2018Ageu2019 as u2018numberu2019, but you can always send u201Casdfasdfu201D as input in Message Mapping.

The only oracle JDBC driver that can run with JDK 1.2.x is in the
OTN download area and is named "816SDK for JDK 1.2"
it will work with the JDK 1.2.X using the JDBC 1.22 spec from JDK
1.1.X.

Help required for Sender Proxy/RFC and Receiver RFC approach. Urgent please

I have one sender R/3 system
I have two receivers R/3 systems
Business Partners data from sender R/3 system needs to be repliacted to 2 receivers R/3 systems
From sender R/3 system one Sync Abap Client Proxy or
Sync RFC will send Business Partners data to XI.
For both receivers R/3 systems there is only one RFC Currently there is no flag condition for 2 receivers as this is
Business Partner replication scenario.
Also In XI there is restriction that multiple sync receivers cannot be there.
Please let me know how to make this approach.

Create two O/B Interfaces - Synch. Create Proxy1 for O/B Interface1 , Proxy2 for O/B interface 2.
So while defining Receiver determinatio, you will define as following,

Urgent help required: Query regarding LC Variables

Hi All
Sometime earlier I was working on a performance issue raised by a customer. It was shell script that was taking almost 8-9 hrs to complete. During my research I came across a fact that there were some variables which were not set, the LC variables were impacting the sort funnel operations because of which the script was taking a long time to execute.
I asked them to export the following commands, after which the program went on smoothly and finished in a couple of mins:
export LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LC_MESSAGES=C
export LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LC_MONETARY=en_US.ISO8859-1
export HZ=100
export LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
Later I did recover that setting the LC_COLLATE to C, is not helping and the program was again taking a lot of time. Few questions that I want to ask are:
1. Can someone please tell me, what each of these variable mean and how these values make a difference.
2. When I exported LC_COLLATE=en_US.ISO8859-1, it worked fine, but when i tried with the defalut value LC_COLLATE=C, then why the program didnt work.
As this issue is still going on, hence I would request All to provide their valuable inputs and let me know as much as possible.

A new development in this regard. The customer has send us a screen shot in which they were trying to export the locale variable using the commands which I have pasted above. I can see in the screen shot that while exporting LC_COLLATE and LC_TYPE, they get a message that ""ksh: export: couldn't set locale correctly"".
Request everyone to please give their inputs as it's a bit urgent.

LC_CTYPE
Controls the behavior of character handling functions.
LC_TIME
Specifies date and time formats, including month names, days of the week, and common full and abbreviated representations.
LC_MONETARY
Specifies monetary formats, including the currency symbol for the locale, thousands separator, sign position, the number of fractional digits, and so forth.
LC_NUMERIC
Specifies the decimal delimiter (or radix character), the thousands separator, and the grouping.
LC_COLLATE
Specifies a collation order and regular expression definition for the locale.
LC_MESSAGES
Specifies the language in which the localized messages are written, and affirmative and negative responses of the locale (yes and no strings and expressions).
You can use command
# locale -k LC_CTYPE
to see more detail about each type.

Help required - Sales order item is partially delivered but the item grayed

I have a sales order 123 having say item10 with qty 1, item20 with qty 10 , item 30 qty 12
Item 1 confirmed qty 1 and delivered qty is 1
Item 2 confirmed qty 10 and delivered qty 10
Item 3 confirmed qty 1 and delivered qty is 1
Now the item3 still has open requirements of 11 to be delivered. But the item is GRAYED OUT already.
even if I do ATP the qty is not confirming for the remaining 11 pieces.
Why is that? How to make that item out from GRAY.
How to confirm the remaining 11 qty for that item.
Help required as early as possible.

     ---the deliveries should be upto target quantity.
     ---check order type, item category and schedule line category.
     ---check unrestricted stock availability.

Search Help with in a serach help required in SRM 4.0

Hi,
Requirement: Search help required for Product Category field in the Search help for Product(BBPH_PRODUCT) in SRM portal.
This search help is used in Create shopping Cart transaction. The hyper link on Internal Goods/Services leads to the search help BBPH_PRODUCT.
My analysis:
The field Product Category (CATEGORY_ID) has search help(COM_CAT_HIER) attached to its data element. When I single test the search help BBPH_PRODUCT in SAP GUI,I can see the search help for field product category in the selection dialogue box. However the same does not appear on the corresponding screen in HTML.
Please let me know whether I need to do some thing to make the search help appear on the HTML screen?

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

I have successfully installed all of my creative cloud apps with the exception being acrobat.
I cannot print from Indesign to PDF.
I have unistalled, reinstalled and still no Adobe Acrobat.
I now have to go back to Windows 8 and create the PDF's there.
Any one know how to get around this issue?

OSX has effectively killed the ability to print to pdf, (print to pdf eliminates most of the "Rich features" of current pdf).
Export from InDesign, always, excpet for the 1% of the time where you know why print to pdf would produce a better result.

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6. I have created a new Web
Application called Web (I have not used the DefaultWebApp_myserver).
And I have the following settings:
Name : Web
URI : Web
and Path : C:\Web
and placed my JSP files under c:\Web\
I am able to access the first page, but after that I am not able to access the
second page.
I get "Error 404--Not Found" on the browser. Basically the class file is not getting
created under /Web-inf/_tmp_war_myserver_myserver_Web/jsp_servlet/ folder .
I tried a work around for this. I copied all my files under one more folder called
web and placed this under C:\Web
The it works. Now I have 2 copied off all the files, 1 copy under c:\web and another
copy under c:\web\web\.
If I have the files under DefaultWebApp_myserver and have the setting as
Name: DefaultWebApp_myserver
URI: DefaultWebApp_myserver
Path: .\config\mydomain\applications
everything works fine.
Can any one please let me know if there is any configuration which has to be done
so that I do not duplicate the code in 2 directories

When I reboot the machine, the first line in route table gets erased, I then run:
#route add default gw 34.36.143.254
After which network works fine.
Help required. I don't want to use NetworkManager.

NetworkManager is now the default mechanism for RHEL 7. Personally I don't quite understand this, because as far as I can gather it is a program for systems to automatically detect and connect to known networks. I think such functionality can be useful when switching between wireless and wired networks, but for a server platform, I wonder.

i have just downloaded oracle 10g softwares ...
i installed database then developer suite ... everything was fine ... until i was unable to run forms ...
a friend of mine told me that i need to install application server in order to run forms ...
1st of all i want to know that is there any way i can run forms without using Oracle AS 10g ...
2ndly i m facing problems in installation of Oracle AS 10g ...
i have studied online documentation but it ain't so helpfull for me ...
it seems like ... i have to install "Oracle AS infrastructure" first and then "Middle-tier: Business Intelligence and forms" ...
i m using P-IV (AMD Athlon XP 2100+, MMX, 1.7GHz Processor) with 512 MB DD RAM and Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 as Operating System.
During installation, the installer is warning dat only "Oracle Application Server (J2EE and Web Cache)" and "Oracle Application Server Developer Kits" are supported installations on dis platform ...
what should i do ... urgent help required ...

i didn't changed da port while installing Oracle AS ...
inspite i stopped all services using/listening from dat port ...
now ... i guess there has been some conflict ... as database listner stops automatically just after starting !!!

Another Problem:
I re-installed Database, Developer suite and then Oracle AS infrastructure ...
everthing went fine ...
when i installed Oracle AS Middle Tier - Business Intelligence & Forms
during installation ... some configuration assistants failed/skipped ...
da OC4J configration assistant at 5th last position failed ... so remaining 4 configuration assistants were skipped ...
at da end it said ... Installation Succesfull but with some configuration assistants failed/skipped ...
is dis a installation useless ... can i fix dis ?

I Download the JDeveloper 10.1.2 (1811) from OTN, But the downloaded archive file is unable to open. I did the download once again but I am facing same problem. I want to JDeveloper 10.1.2 for the installation of BI Beans 10.1.2.
