I am developing and application which create XML schemas from a graphical interface. I know how to generate the XML schema but what I want to know is how would I validate and XML document with this schema?

I would suggest you look at http://exolab.org and download the open source project called CASTOR. This generate java classes for schema and includes complete validation features too. Just feed your schema and you r done !

If you erased the phone via iCloud, then you need to restore the phone. You can either restore it from a backup, or you can restore it as a new device, but you are going to have to restore it. If you contacted your carrier and had them suspend the phone, you will have to get a new SIM card from them as well to reactivate the phone.

Session Time Out For UNLOGGED IN USER During Search -pls help SIR!
Hi,
The problem lies in searchresultscontroller.java/searchcontroller.java file under search/web/handler of an application that supports educational note sharing.
The problem is that -
When I search with query strings in different fields(as you will find in the above mentioned java files)..the keywords in resourcedto and get some files as search results.
Then I click on one of the file from within the search result and visit the file.
Here if I m logged in as an user, and the session time out is set to 1 minute in the web.xml file of the web folder not the admin folder then when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button it easily goes back to the previous search result page along with the queries string that I had input previously.
The problem is that when I m NOT LOGGED in as an user, and I've performed a search with queries and other dropdowns in the search panel, I get the search result page, I visit the file by clicking on one of them but when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button I don't see the previous search result page from where I had navigated to view the file.
Please suggest on what changes shall I make in the code so that even if I m not logged in as an user, I get back to the search result page on hitting the BACK TO SEARCH button from the file view page.Sir I m herein pasting the code of the searchresultscontroller.java file, but please feel free to ask for anyother file whose code you might want to see.SEARCHRESULTSCONTROLLER.JAVA FILE CONTENT-

You cannot record calls, any app which is recording will pause when an outgoing or incoming call starts.
System restrictions of Windows Phone prevent access to a lot of information from within the phone UI. Individual apps have access only to there own data and limited access to photos and documents.

How can I set my privacy tighter with Siri and Dictation?
OK First of all, Apple needs to stop with the restriction of what you can say in posts. They keep deleting my stuff without allowing my QUESTION to be answered.
First of all, when did this massive invasion of my privacy happen? Did it happen with the latest update to iOS 8.1? I know I did not have these pop ups until this update happened this week.
I would like to know how to use Siri and Dictation WITHOUT such a massive invasion of my privacy?
Did I ever have such privacy prior to iOS 8.1?
I went to dictate a text message to my husband today and I get a pop up telling me that ALL my information is going to be shared. There is a "learn more" link and I click that and it has this long diatribe on how
Apple takes the things I say and dictate and records them and sent to them to process my requests. My device will also send Apple other information, such as my name and nickname; the names, nicknames, and relationship with me (e.g. "my dad") of my address book contacts, song names in my collection, and HomeKit-enabled devices in my home (e.g., "living room lights") (collectively, your "User Data"). All of this data is used to help Siri and Dictation understand me better and recognize what I say. It is not linked to other data that Apple may have from my use of other Apple services...
there is a lot more but suffice it to say, it does NOT 'match' what is said about Siri and Dictation on the Apple privacy page. The phone privacy contract description has MORE things listed that are being recorded, used and stored.It only matches what I quoted. There is a lot more in the phone.
I also had a lot more in my original post but Apple censored and then deleted it because they decided it was a rant.
Apple's policy in my phone's privacy policy says a lot more.
Apparently from your answer I am stuck with a massive invasion of my privacy? Are you so very comfortable with having everything you say recorded? What if you worked in a high security industry?
I also asked if this was in effect prior to this latest update or not.
What I had to omit. Check your phone's privacy page and compare to apple's web page I linked ( Settings > General > Keyboard >Dictation & Settings > General > Siri) and click on the About Siri or Dictation privacy...
It goes on to tell me I can restrict Siri's and Dictation's ability completely by turning it off.
It tells me that my personal information, voice recording and other things collected may be retained for a period of time to generally improve Siri, Dictation an functionality in other Apple products and services. <-- this right here contradicts the paragraph I quoted by saying it indeed DOES use it for other Apple things. Also, HOW LONG is this "period of time"?
If I want to 'erase' this information I can simply turn off then on Siri and or Dictation and lose what I have had recorded on me. THIS fully restarts the "learning" process all over again and in turn NEGATES all the stuff it learned in the past. The KICKER is that since apple "retains what it collects for a period of time" HOW does turning the services off truly "erase" what was taken in the past?
Why can't the learning process be done directly on the phone itself without it being RECORDED and STORED by Apple?
Now, before you go off and say how Apple respects my privacy, I know all of that. I just don't believe or trust it since all this iCloud hacking has been happening lately AND I am VERY conscious of what I put "out there" for all to see and take. I don't use social networking either due to the massive invasion of my privacy. Plus I find it silly. I will not be reduced to a low level of conversation where the simple "like" is the equivalent of a reply. -

Help!--export error Flash MX mov's to Quicktime mov's
Hey there,
I normally convert Flash Mx 2004 mov's to normal mov's using Quicktime Pro.
Now, I get an error with the "Export Controller". It usually stops at about %20 through.
The Flash mov's play fine, but won't export.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

and it (the SWF) opens in Quicktime Pro, plays just fine, but then when I try to convert it to a MOV., the exporter crashes.
I can make a SWF movie into a MOV, right?
I'm trying to make a cartoon I made in Flash a MOV file I can upload to Youtube and other video sites.
Am I missing something?

I want to develope a system which generate XML Schema files.
The user will enter information into some front end with details of XML elements that will make up the Schema.
Once this information is entered how would I go about actually creating the .xsd file? Would I create a DOM of this information entered? Would sax be better? Open to suggestions here!!! Is there much java api support for such developments?

And a properous New Year.What kind of help do you want? Schemas are XML files, they just have a specific vocabulary. So yes you can use a DOM to create a schema, or you could use SAX. Neither is "better", they just have different uses. There's plenty of Java support for manipulating XML.
There are two steps you need to do:
1. Decide what XML you are going to produce.
2. Produce it.
I suggest that number 1 is up to you, and how to do number 2 follows from the way you decide to do number 1. If you have some more specific questions then by all means ask them. -

Best setting for 3D content for Flash
Hello all. I am a Premiere noob that works in Cinema 4D. I am exporting C4D animations as QuickTime "animation" files. (.mov) These videos are highly detailed pixel-precise renders. I want to bring them into Premier with this level of pixel precision, yet I cant seem to find the correct setting to ensure they import and play back "ice cold." They tend to look slightly blurry in the preview. The renders are for a specific flash size and are set to 874x480.
Can someone help me with the correct setting for the movie? Please... The content is so beautiful, I don't want to sacrifice any quality. I have the latest version of PP. A side note I learned in this process: Cinema 4D users should not export their Quciktime (.mov) files from Premiere Pro as Uncompressed AVI. It just screws up the pixel precision. Not sure why. Just use the old school .avi and the advice above. The renders will be perfect. -
Reading Files From CD-RW Mt. Rainer Format
I need to read some files from a CD-RW formatted in Mt. Rainier format. These are simple .jpg files copied to the disk from a biomedical device. The format is the standard on this machine, which of course is built on HP hardware running XP. My IB mounts the CD-RW to the desktop as"INCD", and the folder on it marked "files" contains .htm files which when opened with Safari point me to the reader called "Nero" at www.nero.com. Of course, there is no reader for Mac OS there.... any ideas ?

Well, that was a learning experience. This new format sounds interesting, though I'm surprised less has been said about it in the forums and websites I peruse.
Following a hunt I found this product, though they only offer Classic and Wintel versions, not OS X. It's also $19.95. Nevertheless, it's an option.
Further info came from Diskinternals.com. I quote:
As shipped by Microsoft, Windows can only read UDF discs, while current (2006) releases of Mac OS X, Linux, and several other Unix's include UDF writing capability with no additional software required. Older versions of these operating systems may have limited reading capabilities, and may not support more recent versions of UDF.
There is a caveat however. Thanks to revisioning of the UDF standard (the technology underwriting the Mt. Rainier format), three distinct flavours now exist, leading to problems, and I quote:
An example is Mac OS X (10.4.5), which claims to support UDF 1.50 (see man mount_udf), yet it can only mount disks of the original format properly (it can not mount UDF disks with a VAT at all, see Sony Mavica problem, and while it appears to be able to mount CD-RWs written with a Sparing Table, it does not read its files correctly in case the files are actually remapped).
A search of Sourceforge turned up nothing containing the term Rainier, and very little containing the term UDF.

The long and the short of it seems to be: test your disk on a Mac running Tiger, it may work; test your disk on a Windows 2000 PC, it may work; test your disk on a cutting-edge version of Linux, it should work; if you have an external CD drive, try burning the Ubuntu Live CD, booting from it, and using this to read the disk, it may work (I read that Ubuntu's Breezy Badger release was capable this way, and this may be the version on the Live CD).
Other than that, it looks like you may have to get the CD reburned in a more compatible format.
