Help to change decimal on a query
Hello
I have made the following query
SELECT T0.[DocNum], T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription], T1.[Quantity], T1.[PriceFOB], T1.[Currency], T1.[PriceFOB]*T1.[Rate] as 'Prix Achat FCFA', T1.[Cost], T1.[PriceAtWH] FROM OIPF T0 INNER JOIN IPF1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T1.[ItemCode] >= [%0] and T1.[ItemCode] <= [%1] AND T0.[DocDate] >=[%2] AND T0.[DocDate] <=[%3]
the problem is T1.[PriceFOB] is shown as an integer so instead of 0.69 it shows 1 how to change it to show the 2 digits...

I am facing a problem in BW system while tranporting a change in a Bex Query. Actually on our BW system our Client team works as well. I have done started doing some change in query in dev. I have created bex transportable request
I want to transport a change in bex query. I am doing that dev work. usually i create a request in RSA1->tranport connection-> drag a query to a bex transportable request which I have already created. But the problem is my client also want to work on the same query for another change. so he is asking me to release the request or delete the request.. Is there any otherway that I can do the transports without conflicting with Client.

A transport request if is BEx transport request (i.e. a request which is assigned as BEx transport request in transport connection) allows multiple users to work on same query.
Instead of deleting your request, you could assign it as a BEx transport request in transport workbench and your client can also make changes under the same request without adding him under the request. It will also be better as all the changes made to one query will be onder one request.

Please help!!! Tuning the query

I am using Oracle BDBXML 2.4.16. In the following, policyContainer.dbxml has around 1000 documents and productsContainer.dbxml around 10 documents. The following query is taking around 6 - 8 seconds to fetch the data of around 300 records. I have created node-element-equality-string indexes on PolicyEvent, PolicyStatus, Archived, IsLatest, ProductID and CompanyID.
I am novice on Query tuning. Can someone please help me to tune the following query. I have posted the query plan as well.

</XQuery>The good news is that your indexes are being used (anywhere in the query plan where you see index="node-element-equality-string"), the bad news is that the entire policyContainer is being scanned several times (<SequentialScanQP container="policyContainer.dbxml" nodeType="element"/>). Your best bet is to upgrade to dbxml-2.5.16, since that has several improvements to the optimizer that should optimize away those scans. Failing that, use the shell command (dbxml) to add and remove indexes and see how that changes the query plan and speed. The following line is what is causing the scans:

Post-change trigger raising when query!!
this trigger is form related: i just attach a post-change trigger with an item.

it working fine when we insert a new record. but when i query for record, it fires, which should not beI agree with Manu, rather than use a Post-Change trigger to validate user input, use the When-Validate-Item (WVI) trigger instead. This will allow you to validate the input from a user, but the WVI trigger won't fire when a record is queried into your block.

POST-QUERY is kept only for backward compatibility in 10gI think you meant to say "Post-Change" instead of "Post-Query." The Post-Change trigger has been depricated, but the Post-Query trigger is still valid in all Forms versions.

Changes in properties in query definition is not getting transfered to WB
Hi,
I am using the analysis grid(design mode) to create different views of 2 queries. My workbook has near about 20 different worksheets based on these 2 queries.
I am facing a wierd issue. Once this work is completed now if I make any changes to query properties its not getting reflected to workbook. One of the example is by default hierarchy has lowest node at bottom. I want to have it at top. I have made changes in the charcteristic properties but now its not getting replicate to query.

Please check in workbook settings.When Reference View is checked, the output is the current query view.If changes are made after that in the workbook and workbook saved and
reopened, it retains the current state of the workbook as long as Refresh Workbook on Open is not checked. Refresh workbook on Open would get the current state of query as output.
If I understand your issue correctly, please check 'Refresh Wokbook on Open' in workbook settings, to display the current navigational state saved in the workbook as well as the changes made in the query.Please note that the 'Reference View' should be unchecked.However, if 'Reference View' is checked, the current query changes rather than the navigational changes stored in the workbook.

Can anyone help me change the DOB on my sons profile for his apple I'd so I can setup family sharing? I originally put both ids in my name. He is 19 do it keeps saying needs my permission but no instructions in how to get that done? His phone was stollen once last month need to get this done ASAP to prevent future headaches. Ty
You can not change the date of birth on the account. Apple makes that clear up front when the account is created.
The only way to "fix" this is going to be for him to create a new account with the correct information. Any apps purchased with the old one will need to be re-purchased with the new account. They can not be transferred. -

I need a report over the existing queries / worksheets and the owner, creation date, change date of a query etc.
You see some of the information when you go over query properties in the query designer. But you see only the information of one (the opened) query. And you have to do this for every query ...
My idea is to go over BW Metadata in the technical content.
Here is the cube BW Metadata 0BWTC_C08
(The InfoCube BW Statistics u2013 Metadata contains metadata from the Metadata Repository.)
Is this the way to do it? Or any other suggestions u2026

I'd like to put the information of all of this tables in a cube and define a query on it.
I have to define new datasource, infosource to get the data in the cube.

Help needed in building a sql query

I am using Oracle 10g db.
I have 3 tables table1 and table2 and table3
I am writing one sql query which is like
select table1.a a1,(select distinct b from table2,table3 where table2.id=table3.id and table1.id=table2.id) b1
from table1
Now the b1 value may give more then 1 values so when i am trying to execute the query its giving me error.
What i would like to have is if it gives returns more then 1 value then add that value as a new column means if b1 gives like abc and def as values.
Then i want the sql to return like
acolvalue abc def as a single row.
Is this possible to do?

The approach which i took is i wrote a function which gives me the b values , sseparated.
Then i am building a outer query considering the max of b so i just found there are max 10 values which one row is showing.

i want to use the substr and instr function to get

Can someone help me change the line width of my numbers table, its not set to thin or none and its stuck on pt25. its a spreadsheet i imported from excel.

Apparently the import wasn't a good one.
The best option at this point might be to start a new table. Insert a new Table, Copy the old table cell range, select the first cell in the new table and Edit > Paste and Match Style. This will throw out all the old formatting. A bit of work, but a nice clean start.

How to change the font in query builder window in Reports 6i?

I am facing the old problem again and again, which is I can not find any way to change the font in query builder window in Reports 6i. The current font is so bad for alignment and ordering each part of SELECT statement. Is there any way to change this to COURIER NEW for example?No, but I suggest using a different editor which does allow a different text option and just pasting it in.

I need help on changing my region from u.s to uk
My region changed to the u.s and I want to change it back to the uk but it won't let me because I have 32 left on my account could someone help me try remove the 32p or help me change the region

I cannot find information to help me change the orientation of a video filmed in portrait format but it can only able to be played back lying on its side (landscape) instead of upright. All the rotation buttons for iPhoto are not 'engaged' when it is in video .

I tried the Export function but it would not allow me to choose the option of exporting to iMovie. I think you are right about needing Quicktime Pro. I opened iMovie and imported the clip from iPhoto and with some searching found the 'cropping, rotation' mechanism. So I now have a copy in the correct orientation. I plan to import/export it back to iPhoto because I want to have a copy on my iPhone to show people and I wanted to have it available as part of a slideshow I am making in iPhoto of my recent overseas trip. It is a pain that there is no simple orientating tool for the movie clips downloaded to iPhoto with the photos from the one camera. -
I just installed Photoshop and want to use it as the external editor in iPhoto. I also have PS Elements on the computer and the only external editor I can get iPhoto to recognize is PSE. Any help in changing the external editor to PS would be appreciated!
Welcome. I am using Photoshop CS5 and this works fine for me. Possibly Adobe has changed this in CS6. Hopefully, LarryHN will have further suggestions. Best.
