Help using Actions on View

I'm trying to add importing and exporting values to an action for creating a customized pop up
importing values
     pop up tittle
     pop up text
     pop up buttons
exporting values
    button pressed
i hope you can help me with this, i try to put extra values on the parameter pane but i get an error saying that the values are not found.

You wouldn't add the value to the popup. You'd probably want to use an "lookup" statement in the "amount due" column to select different values depending on the result in the "membership type" cell. While a bit old and not specifically for the iOS version of Numbers, this thread may help:

  • Need help in creating a view with Encryption for hiding the code used by the multiple users

    Hi,
    Can anyone help me out in creating view with encryption data to hide the stored procedure logic with other users.
    I have create a stored procedure with encryted view but while running this manually temporary views are getting created, therefore the problem is if there are 500 entries then 500 temp views will get created.
    Any solution to aviod creating temporary views, please refer my code below
    USE [etl_validation]
    GO
    /****** Object:  StoredProcedure [dbo].[Pr_DBAccess_mod]    Script Date: 05/23/2014 12:53:22 ******/
    SET ANSI_NULLS ON
    GO
    SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
    GO
    ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[Pr_DBAccess_mod](@ETL_CONFIG_ID INT)
    AS
    BEGIN
    DECLARE @openquery NVARCHAR(MAX),
     @DATABASENAME NVARCHAR(100),
     @HIERNAME NVARCHAR(100),
     @TABLENAME NVARCHAR(100),
     @SERVERTYPE NVARCHAR(100),
     @SERVERNAME NVARCHAR(100),
     @USERNAME NVARCHAR(100),
     @PASSWORD NVARCHAR(100),
     @ETL_CONFIG_IDN NVARCHAR(100);
     SET @ETL_CONFIG_IDN=CAST(@ETL_CONFIG_ID AS NVARCHAR);
     SET @TABLENAME='Department';
     SET @SERVERTYPE='SQL';
     SET @SERVERNAME ='192.168.31.176';
     SET @DATABASENAME='AdventureWorks2008R2';
     SET @HIERNAME = 'HumanResources';
     IF @SERVERTYPE='SQL'
     BEGIN
    /*SET @openquery= 'SELECT * INTO ##TestTable
                     FROM OPENROWSET(''SQLNCLI'',''server=192.168.31.176;Trusted_Connection=yes;'','''+@query+''')'
    SET @openquery=  'CREATE VIEW '+@TABLENAME+@ETL_CONFIG_IDN+
                     ' WITH ENCRYPTION AS SELECT * FROM OPENROWSET(''SQLNCLI'',''SERVER='+@SERVERNAME+';TRUSTED_CONNECTION=YES;'',''SELECT * FROM '+@DATABASENAME+'.'+@HIERNAME+'.'+@TABLENAME+''')'
    SELECT @openquery
    END
    EXECUTE sp_executesql @openquery
    END

    Hi aa_rif,
    According to your description and code message, you execute the sp_executesql statement in your stored procedure, it indeed create many views with a tablename and ETL_CONFIG_ID named. If you need not to use these temporary views, you can delete them when
    it contains the tablename in one view name.
    In addition, if you want to create view with encryption in SQL Server, you can use directly the ENCRYPTION option to encrypt the T-SQL of a view in create view commands, for more information, see:
    http://learnsqlserver.in/4/Create-View-With-Encryption.aspx. if not, you can descript more detail about requriements, so that more forum members can involve into the thread and help you
    out.

  • Help with Nav Bar using Action Script 3

    I am a flash NOOB to say the least.  Trying to teach myself.  Thank God for YouTube! LOL!  Anyway, I have build a Nav Bar for a site that has a sliding bar on the bottom of it that follows the mouse.  The problem with this nav bar is that when you change pages inside the site, the slider resets back to position X/Y = 0 and you really don't know what page you are on for sure without me having to identify each page in the page body itself.
    Does anyone know of a way using action script to have the URL of the page sent to flash and in turn use that URL to set the X and Y position of the slider to the appropriate X and Y of the button on the Nav Bar for the page the user is on?
    I have heard of using flash.external.ExternalInterface but now for sure how this really works nor if I can assign it to a variable for reference inside the action script.
    Any help would be appreciated greatly!!

    The Flash Nav Bar is at the top of each page.  But yes, when you click a button inside the flash nav bar it takes you away from your current page and loads a new one.  I am trying to tell the swf file which page it is on so I can set the X and Y position of the slider.
    You will have to excuse me if I am so noob that I loose any of your replies to this as just as Flash is new to me, so is the lingo.
    Thank you for your help.  I will research FlashVar but if you have any other ideas then I am open to them.

  • What is the use of Database View, maintenace , projection and Help view

    hello friends,
    I created tables..and set check table relation.
    how to create Database View, maintenace , projection and Help view
    phani

    Hi,
    have a look at this.
    4 type of views
    database
    maintainance
    help
    projection view
    check this link as well
    (https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=9904886&messageID=4885135)
    Database views are implemented with an equivalent view on the database.
    Projection views are used to hide fields of a table (only projection).
    Database views should be created if want to select logically connected data from different tables simultaneously.
    Database views implement an inner join.
    Application programs can access the data of a database view using the database interface. (Just as we write select queries on database tables, we can write them for views as well.)
    Includes in Database Views
    An entire table can be included in a database view. In this case all the fields of the included table will become fields of the view (whereby you can explicitly exclude certain fields).
    To include one of the tables in the view, enter character * in field View field, the name of the table to be included in field Table and character * again in field Field name on the View fields tab page of the maintenance screen of the view.
    You can also exclude individual fields of an included table. If you do not want to include a field of the included table in the view, enter - in field View field, the name of the included table in field Table and the name of the field to be excluded in field Field name.
    Inserts with Database Views
    If a database view contains only one single table, data can be inserted in this table with the view .
    You have the following options for the contents of the table fields not contained in the view:
    If the field is defined on the database with NOT NULL as initial value, the field is filled with the corresponding initial value.
    If the field is defined on the database as NOT NULL without initial value, an insert is not possible. This results in a database error.
    If the field is not defined on the database as NOT NULL, there will be a NULL value in this field.
    A maintenance view permits you to maintain the data of an application object together.
    The maintenance status determines which accesses to the data of the underlying tables are possible with the maintenance view.
    Read only: Data can only be read through the view.
    Read, change, delete, insert: Data of the tables contained in the view can be
    changed, deleted, and inserted through the view.
    Read and change: Existing view entries can be changed. However, records
    cannot be deleted or inserted.
    Read and change (time-dependent views): Only entries whose non-time
    dependent part of the key is the same as that of existing entries may be
    inserted.
    Maintenance View ( SE54 )
    You can use a maintenance view to maintain data, which is distributed over several tables, at the same time.
    Maintenance views enable a business-oriented approach to looking at data, while at the same time, making it possible to maintain the data involved. Data from several tables can be summarized in a maintenance view and maintained collectively via this view. That is, the data is entered via the view and then distributed to the underlying tables by the system.

  • How do i use the character viewer

    can anyone tell me the system in using the character viewer, i can drag and drop but surley there must be and easier way than that!
    Thanks.

    From Mac Help:
    Enter special characters and symbols
    Use the Character Viewer to enter special characters and symbols, such as mathematical symbols, letters with accent marks, emoticons, arrows and other “dingbats,” into your documents.
    You can also use the Character Viewer to enter Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean characters, as well as characters from other languages.
    Enter special characters or symbols from the Character Viewer
    Open a document, and place the insertion point where you want the special character or symbol to appear.
    Choose Edit > Special Characters to open the Character Viewer, or choose Show Character Viewer from the Input menu in the menu bar (looks like a flag or character).If you don’t see Show Character Viewer in the Input menu, follow the steps in this topic to show the Character Viewer in the menu bar.

  • I am trying to open a website that is using Microsoft content viewer, and the page does not show. Any ideas on how to view this site using firefox. It works on IE.

    I am participating in an online class whose website uses Microsoft Content Viewer to view the class content. The browser opens a new page, but nothing is there. At the top of the tab it says Microsoft Content Viewer, and nothing else. Can anyone tell me how to view my course using Firefox? I would prefer not to use IE, but it works there.

    When originally creating the pdf, you would need to choose another pdf conversion setting. In Word if you use the pdf menu, change your settings there: Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings. I would use High Quality Print instead. If you use the File > Print method, click the Properties button next to the Adobe PDF printer selection.
    For your already created form, you can change the file so your users will not encounter issues. In Acrobat 9, which hopefully is similar in process to 8: Advanced > Preflight > Profile tab > PDF/A compliance > Remove PDF/A information.(You'll have to unsecure your form first).
    You can read about PDF/A files in the Help.

  • How to use Action/Input maps

    It seems to me that the move to sharing actions menus, buttons, and other components is a logical one, given that it is desirable to have all references to the action reflect its enabled state.
    The question that arises is: which ActionMap object to use as the central store? Do you create your own and pass it on somewhere?
    And, if you try to do anything with homegrown InputMaps then the components stop seeing the events. I wish there was a definitive YOU MUST DO IT THIS WAY tutorial.
    Why is there no factory API that can create UI components pre-attached to actions and with accelerators or mnemonics already set? Then we would not need to write half the code we do now. My solution:
    public class ComponentFactory {
       ActionMap myMap;
       public ComponentFactory(ActionMap map) {
          myMap = map;
       public JButton createButton(String actioncommand) {
           Action a = myMap.get(actioncommand)
           if(a==null)
              return null;
           return new JButton(a);
       public JMenuItem createMenuItem(String actioncommand) {
        // etc...
       public void setAction(Action a) {
           myMap.put(a.getValue(ACTION_COMMAND_KEY),a);
       public void setEnabled(String actioncommand, boolean state) {
           Action a = myMap.get(actioncommand);
           if(a!=null)
               a.setEnabled(state);
    }Is there any concensus as to the best way to handle ActionMaps/InputMaps?

    Hugh,
    >
    The tutorial is a touch short on this subject, whilst
    it is good on how to create and use actions with
    toolbars and the like, the section on InputMaps and
    ActionMaps is far too brief to get the wider picture.
    The API docs on the same is about one paragraph's
    worth.okay, I just checked the tutorial - it's a bit short on the inputMap/actionMap indeed.
    >
    You are mixing up two different issues:
    a) customize a button with an action
    b) bind a keyStroke to an action for an arbitrary
    jComponent
    a) has nothing to do with b)If b) has nothing to do with a) why have MNEMONIC_KEY
    and ACCELERATOR_KEY on the action?Hmm... where do you see a contradiction to my statement? Those keys are part of a) as they are used for customization of the AbstractButtons: the button's mnenmonic/accelerator properties are set to the corresponding values of the action. This propertyChange triggers an update of the keyBinding to the button's "pressed"/"doClick" actions as registered in the actionMap. They are never used (at least not internally by Swing) for b)
    Historically the action is older than the inputMap/actionMap: basically it's an ActionListener (which is more or less a command pattern) plus some (view) state. This "plus" was designed right in the beginning of Swing for a) to enable state sharing between different "buttons" but not really integrated until version 1.4. parallel to that the need for a general mechanism of binding between keyStrokes and "commands" became obvious and inputMap/actionMap were introduced in 1.3. The only action state that's needed for this mechanism to work is the enabled property. All values are ignored - so currently they somehow appear to be overloaded in the context of the inputMap/actionMap. Personally I think they are very powerful because of this extra flexibility.
    >
    There is still not a single diagram; and I maintain
    that it is less than useful to beginners who are not
    familiar with the terminology used. Well, IMO diagrams are not everything - I still think it much easier to understand than the dnd spec or the focus spec f.i.
    >
    you are free to use whatever object you want as akey
    - write a utility method to use the name, if feellike
    doeing so. There is nothing in the framework that
    would single out the name as "the" key to use, The keybindings document specifically states:
    "New actions can be added to a component equally
    easily."
    "The conventional key for an action is it's
    name." If there is a conventional way then it
    should be encouraged with an appropriate API. I get your point. And I definitely agree on following a convention if there is one. Except when the convention is quite immature (to formulate mildly) - and not even followed by Swing internally: most of the default actions registered in the actionMap don't even have a name, the binding is done by string literals ... duplicated in at least two places: the XXLookAndFeel and the ui-delegates.

  • Paging issues using a dynamic view object...

    I am working on an application that uses JAG to generate JSP pages, i had the requirement to use dynamic view objects where the view object query is generated at runtime. The rest of the application is more or less the same... I used the defult functionality provided by TableScrollButtons.jsp file for paging. Now the problem im facing is that while the '>' and '<' buttons are working fine, i cant seem to navigate to the pages using the drop down...
    With the default handler, whenever i select the range the range displayed remains the same ie 1-10, 10 being the rangesize, but the rows are refreshed with values from the next page. Also, if the next page is the last and is incomplete, then the rows are pushed in from the bottom, so that the last page is always full...I tried the tuning panel in the view object edit dialogue and all settings are fine (i think)...could anyone please tell me what i am doing wrong??

    could it be because i am using a dynamic view object with dynamic bindings? i am using the preparemodel() method in the action as follows...
    protected void prepareModel(DataActionContext ctx) throws Exception {
    inferRangeBindingIfUnset(ctx);
    ctx.getBindingContainer().setEnableTokenValidation(false);
    String sql = ctx.getHttpServletRequest().getParameter("sql");
    String cost=ctx.getHttpServletRequest().getParameter("CostCostCent");
    String event=ctx.getHttpServletRequest().getParameter("event");
    if (sql != null && event == null) {
    setupDynamicQueryAndDynamicBindings(ctx,sql.substring(1),cost);
    if (retrieveOnlyCurrentPageFromDatabase()) {
    ViewObject vo = getIterForPaging(ctx).getViewObject();
    if (vo.getAccessMode() != ViewObject.RANGE_PAGING) {
    vo.setAccessMode(ViewObject.RANGE_PAGING);
    // if(event==null)
    super.prepareModel(ctx);
    ctx.getBindingContainer().setEnableTokenValidation(true);
    if (ctx.getEvents() == null || ctx.getEvents().size() ==0) {
    setPage(ctx,1);
    setLastPage(ctx,getIterForPaging(ctx).getRowSetIterator().getEstimatedRangePageCount());
    else if(event.equals("setRangeStart")) {
    setPageFromRequest(ctx);
    }

  • LionCal help please in month view

    Hi everyone, I am having some major iCal woes that I hope someone has the answer to.
    Ok this is how I handle my workflow. I have numerous calendars such as "call", "viewing", "meeting", "work misc", "personal" etc. All colour coded and I use the month view as standard.
    Under SL I would double click the day I add an event go through the boxes (name, location, time, etc) click save and job done.
    Now under Lion when I double click a day I get an event box but only the header. So I have to type the header hit return then double click on the event again to get the box up so I can assign the event the right time and calendar to use. This is taking twice as long as it did before under SL and is a pain when you have a client on the phone. Am I missing something here? Why is it now so hard? - and I have tried that quick entry business but it doesn't work for me, I simply want the whole calendar entry box when I double click in month view.
    Next problem is all new events go in as a all day event. Again another click I didn't need to do in SL. Then untick all day and enter a time LionCal doesn't set the end time 1 hour later anymore it sets it hours later for me, sometimes into the next day so I have to click into the date box and type the end date, again a massive slow down in my workflow.
    Finally and most annoyingly in month view I cannot for the life of me get a 12 hour clock with AM/PM. I checked my international page in sys prefs and all is ok but LionCal is not playing ball.
    Any help would be appreciated as I love iCal and run my life with it over MobileMe.

    I noticed a related bug too.
    When I switch my international time zone to UK British time,  my top right corner system clock works fine but in ical monthly view, the AM/PM times are all messed up, some are in 23:00 format, some in 11:00pm format. But if I wanted 24hr format everything is fine it just comes as 23:00 consistently for all times.
    I was very frustrated with this too, as I wanted UK style dates like for 5th Jan 2011 --> 05/01/11, but I also wanted AM/PM in time settings, somehow in Lion, Apple won't let someone have UK date style without 24hr format.
    The only workaround I found so far is to use Hong Kong setting. As Hong Kong has the same date format and also it "allows" AM/PM display!
    Please Apple, fix the bug!!

  • SSRS 2008 R2 - Using Action to call a report with MultiValue Parameters

    I have a report uses project names as parameter(Multi value) and display some data. I want to call this report from some other report on a click (drill down). This report has a program row where it aggregates the data, underneath Programs, I have
    list of projects(group). When I use Action on the individual projects, it takes me to the appropriate project ( I used
    Fields!ProjectName.Value). However, when user clicks on the program, it should pass the group of projects within that program to the called report. With expression,  Fields!ProjectName.Value, it only select one random project (may be first/last from
    the query) and display records. I tried Join(Fields!ProjectName.Value, ",") and Fields!ProjectName.Value(0) but now it doesn't select a sengle project. Can someone help please?

  • How to use a Text View to show the current user

    Hi Experts,
    I am using a Text View to show the current logged on user.
    Also i need to retrieve the date of creation of proposal and show it as output parameter.
    I am using the following code but it is not working properly.
    Please help me out regarding the same.
    Method technicalDescription()
    //Attribute User to store user name
    IGPAttributeInfo user = output.addAttribute("USER", IGPAttributeInfo.BASE_STRING);
                user.setMultiplicity(IGPAttributeInfo.MULITIPLICITY_1_1);
    //Attribute date to store current system date
    IGPAttributeInfo date = output.addAttribute("DATE", IGPAttributeInfo.BASE_DATE);
                date.setMultiplicity(IGPAttributeInfo.MULITIPLICITY_1_1);
    Method execute()
    //getting current system date
    Date currDate = new Date(System.currentTimeMillis());
              contextElement.setDate(currDate);
    //Retrieve Current User Details
    try {
    IWDClientUser user = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser();
    String firstName = user.getFirstName();
    String lastName = user.getLastName();
    String userName = lastName + " " + firstName;
    contextElement.setUserName(userName);
    } catch (WDUMException e1) {
    // TODO Auto-generated catch block
    e1.printStackTrace();
    Method complete()
    output.setAttributeValue("USER", wdContext.currentContextElement().getUserName());
    output.setAttributeValue("Date", wdContext.currentContextElement().getDate());
    Thanks a lot.
    Cheers

    There are a few ways, for example declare an IBOutlet for the text field and then use it with NSControl's stringValue: method (inherited by the NSTextField), or bind the value of the text field to a property, etc.  What have you got so far?
