To try disabling Plugins and extensions, Open Firefox in Safe Mode. If you don't know to access Safe Mode, Click Start Menu, click All Programs, Click Mozilla Firefox and select Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete.

Hello.I have a late 2008 model MacBook with snow leopard installed. I'd been having some trouble with it lately, so I went to disk utility and tried to 'repair disk'. It said there was a file system error and it could repair the disk. So I started up from the install disk and tried again...same thing. Now when I try to turn it on and power it up, it turns on, makes the chime sound and then gets stuck on the gray page with the apple. I have tried removing the battery, unplugging/replugging power, and 'safe start up mode'. It still won't go past the gray apple page. Please help!!! I'd greatly appreciate any advice or comments! If you can boot from the install disk reinstall the operating system and see if it works.

I had the same problem; Apple TV was working proper then for no reason I got the continuous blinking front LED. The Apple TV has no sound or video output at all. I tried reseting the Apple TV via my Apple remote controller but that didn't do anything for me. I finally called Apple and they told me that the way to fix my box is to reset the Apple TV to factory default. So I had to attach the Apple TV to one of my Apple computers and launch iTunes. Once iTunes was running it recognized my Apple TV and I clicked on the option to restore to factory default. After the restore my Apple TV now works properly. My final action on the Apple TV was to sign into my account and enter my password.
