Hi,
I will have to work on creating a new document from scratch which will serve as a billing statement to a customer.
I have to construct it and I am really confused on how to structure my forms and subforms.
Can any of you please point me to a right place where I can get a good design guidelines?? Or is there anything like a good design for this.
Will the form structuring impact performance. This document can run really long based on the number of transactions.
I am using castor and object to xml mapping and using the data file to dynamically load the data on to pdf.
Since I am going to start this fresh, I want to get the structure and design correct.

Help with Creating A New Application Form

Hi, completely new to this and trying to create a new application form for a conference.
I've created the form and set each of the packages delegates can buy and added a select button on the right hand side of each of the 6 packages but I can't seem to get it to the point where only one package can be selected - each has details ie B&B and dinner etc so I want delegates to select the one they want beside it.
Also I've managed to create the link to create the email address to populate to send it back but it isn't attaching the completed form - how do I do this?

as I know, you can change your cursors by system software or/and browser. On the other hand you can use programs "outside" of your DW. I suggest to "Google" for them, as I did, and found for example this:

i used this code to create a new document:

Please help with Applet in New Window?

I am trying to write a html page which opens appet into new window.
Tha'ts what i want. My applet has user/passwd authentication and then
makes a socket connection. However i am facing tow problems(kind of one):
1. If i close my applet browser window, socket connection is still active.
(if i use appletviewer.. every thing works perferctly)
2. on my web page, if i click again to open my appet window it refreshes my applet window again ....if it 's already opened. in other words, my applet does not really gets reloaded from my webserver..
Please advise..

You can open a frame, and have a very small applet on your html page. Perhaps you can set the applet size to (0, 0).
You could also open a new browser window that is not resizable and contains your applet in its full size and without the toolbar buttons and menubar. I think you need javascript to configure the new browser window like that.

Noob help with creating a new function module

Hi everyone,
I'm just learning SAP and trying to integrate a WMS system towards it and I'm losing hair over it hehehe
The scenario is that I want to extract Purchase Order Rows details and that's not a hard thing to do since there are multiple BAPIs that can be invoked, for example BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL.
I'm using .NET Connector 3 to talk to SAP.
The problem however is that I want to see how many articles that have already been delivered into the warehouse using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. There is no information returned when using BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL that specifies that a Purchase Order Row has a quantity of 30 and that 20 has already been delivered.
That information can be retrieved by using BAPI_GOODSMVT_GETITEMS.
The problem with using BAPI_GOODSMVT_GETITEMS is that it returns all of the rows and I am only interrested in retrieveing the rows with quantity for a specific purchase order.
So i decided to create my own BAPI or Function Module (or whatever it's called) that would take a PO_NUMBER and PO_ITEM and return the quantity of already delivered items. For example if one of the PO Rows (10) has 100 items and there has been 2 partial deliveries of 20 and 30. The function should return the value of 50 because it's the sum of 20 and 30.
My code looks like this:

Help with creating a new account!

Due to the fact that I had to erase my hard drive and put a fresh latest version of iLife06 on it, I am having some issues trying to create an account within iTunes Music Store. iTunes wants me to add credit card information for purchases. In the past, I have been buying pre paid iTunes cards and would rather continue doing this. So how can I get around putting my CC info in? It won't let me get pass that step in the setting up the account process.When I click sign in and put my info in it says that my information has never accessed the music store and wants me to register. The first screen that comes up is the Credit Card screen.

yea I sent them an email already and waiting for a response. I have tried several different combinations of logins both AOL and a @mac.com and getting no where. In the FAQ's it said there was an option to select NONE if the person did not have credit cards and would have to use the pre paid cards. Well I don't see a NONE listed as an option and I have the very latest version of iTunes too! So who knows whats up! I'll have to wait and hear from them.

Telephone call data has been collected from a company's telephone switch. You have been asked to analyze it and produce various statistics.
Input File
The input file is a sequential file. It is in no specific order. The file contains an extension number, type of call, and the length of call in seconds. A record is produced each time a call is made from that extension. You should create your own test file.
Field     Type     Description
Extension     Integer     Extension number. This is a 4 digit number. Valid Extensions are 2000 to 2020.
Type     Integer     Value of 1 means internal, any other value is an external call.

My firefox won't create a new tab when I click on the tab. It will create a new window. It worked fine till this morning. I've rebooted several time to see if that would make a difference. It doesn't.

I can only create tabs by clicking on a link in an email or a program or a link in the window I am viewing. It will NOT create a new tab when I click on the tab to create a new tab, nor will it create a new tab when I right click on the tab & click on create a new tab. I'm used to using tabbed browsing all the time & it's driving me nuts. HELP!
I have not downloaded any new updates on any software or downloaded any new software in the hours before this started happening.
Just to clarify about my original question. I meant to say that firefox will create a new window when I right click & click on create a new window but will not create a new tab when I click on create a new tab. I think what I wrote may have been somewhat confusing.

When i create a new window, firefox Yanks me back to where i was and i dont want to be yanked back.

i duplicate current pages by create new windows on a very frequent basis;
to do this, i go to the top of the page that i want to duplicate and right-click and click on Open Link in New Window;
I specifically want to duplicate the page i am on in another Window, not a new tab;
Because
Duplicating the current page to Open Link in New Tab, gives tabs on the top of my screen;
Duplicating the current page to Open Link in New Window, gives 'tabs' on the bottom of my screen;
I want 'tabs' to show on the bottom of my screen and to do that i have to Open Link in New Window;
My question and What is happening, is that firefox is yanking me back to the page that i have just duplicated by right-clicking at the top of the page and clicking on Open Link in New Window;
When i create the new Window, firefox yanks me back to the page that i just duplicated and i dont want to be yanked back to that page;
I want to stay on the page that i just duplicated.
I have tried changing the way tabs work in Options but nothing checked or unchecked results in the specific way i want to have new Windows open and STAY on that newly created Window and not be YANKED back to the window i duplicated.

The original window did not have a Flash object, but does the window that hides itself contain a Flash object? That is the usual pattern for this bug in the plugin's protected mode feature.

Opening Help Topic in a New Window

I'm posting this inquiry after searching the forum for the above topic. I have a client who requires that a contextual help page be opened in a new browser window when users press F1 in a web application screen. The client does not want help opened in a new tab or in the same window as the web application screen.
The web application for which I'm writing help supports only Internet Explorer, versions 7 through 9 (no other browsers). The client programs in .NET and, for security, handles HTML help pages like .aspx.
I have RoboHelp HTML 9 installed. Contextual help mapping is done with an external XML schema that pairs web application screens with target help topics via F1.
In practice, despite the new-window requirement, testers have found that CSH opens differently with different combinations of browsers and operating systems. With Windows XP - IE 7 & 8 and Windows 7 - IE9, when the user presses F1, the help screen is opened in a new tab. In Windows 7 - IE8 (32 and 64 bit), it opens in a new window. This last is the way the client expects it to work.
Here's my question: With RoboHelp HTML 9, can I control whether help opens in a new window, the same window or a new tab? Or do I need to rely on a developer to configure the web application server so that help opens in a new window as expected?
So far, after a search of user documentation for RoboHelp and my help mapping configuration files, I haven't found a way in RoboHelp or Help Mappings to control whether contextual help opens in a new window or a new tab. I would appreciate any information on whether this attribute can be controlled through a server configuration, or .NET, or some other aspect of the system beyond RH. Or am I overlooking something in RH?

I'm not sure here but I would say that there is no way you can make that happen from RoboHelp. I believe it will always open in the way you describe, according to the user's browser settings and operating system.
If there is a way to do it, my gut feel is that is something that your developers will have to implement.
As a software user, I think it would irritate me to find new browser instances opening but you have to go with what your client wants.

I just tried the link and it is just fine. If the GateKeeper pops up then open Security & Privacy preferences, click on the General tab, set the last radio button to Anywhere.

Yes, you can do something like that. What you would do is create a button for each image and then hide them. When I do this type of thing I place all of the buttons on a template page and then hide the template.
You can then use JavaScript to copy the icon from any of the hidden buttons to the main button that you've set up to display the image. For example, suppose you set up 10 buttons named b1, b2, b3, ...b10. The code to copy the icon from one of them to the button used to display the image (b0) would be something like this:
// Get the icon from the b3 button
var oIcon = getField("b3").buttonGetIcon();
// Get reference to the b0 button
var f = getField("b0");
// Set the icon of the b0 button to the icon retrieved from the hidden button
f.buttonSetIcon(oIcon);
// Show the b0 button
f.display = display.visible;
This code would go in the Mouse Up event of the smaller button.
