Help with Detail entity Insert with row key null cannot find or invalidate
Hi,
My Problem:
I have created a form in JDeveloper ADF. This form is based on the Table Name IT_HARDWARE. The IT_HARDWARE keep track of all the hardware and it is in the relationship with the IT_SYSTEM table, IT_LOCATION, EMPOYEES. So the IT_HARDWARE has a FOREIGN KEY from IT_SYSTEM (SYS_ID), IT_LOCATION (LOC#), EMPLOYEE (EIP#).
When I create a form to insert data into this form, I receive message "Detail entity ItHardwareInsert with row key null cannot find or invalidate its owning entity."
I tried all possible to understand what is causing this and I can't find it. Can someone help me?

I assume this is a child entity in a composition association. So when you create the rows for the child entity do you populate the parent's reference key ?
You can use NameValuePairs
NameValuePairs nvps=new NameValuePairs();

Detail entity Location with row key null cannot find or invalidate its owni
I have a simple parent child relationship generated in ADF BC. It's 1 to many...a Work Request can have one or more Locations. If I turn on Composition Association in my assoc definition, I get "oracle.jbo.InvalidOwnerException: JBO-25030: Detail entity Location with row key null cannot find or invalidate its owning entity." The error occurs on the CreateInsert for the Location entity. I've spent hours looking at other solutions and posts about this issue to no avail, including attempting both methods at the below post.

When I turn off Composition Association and I only add one Location to the Work Request, both the CreateInsert and the Commit work properly. However, if I add a second Location, I get a database constraint violation because ADF BC tries to commit the Location before the Work Request. I have verified that the Work Request Id is populated properly on the Location object, so I'm at a loss at this point. I'm on 11.1.1.3.Here's the answer in case someone else burns a day on this like I did. Turns out it's a bug (SR submitted), and one that's easy to recreate. The problem is that the parent object isn't "initialized" until after one of it's setters are called. So, what was happening was that I was invoking CreateInsert on the parent, then CreateInsert on the child, then setting properties on the child. So, since I invoked setters on the child first, the child is initialized first, and is thus ADF BC atttempts to insert it first upon commit. The strange thing is that the child had the correct ID for it's associated parent in the logs. Anyways, here are the steps to easily recreate:
1. Model a simple parent child relationship (1 to many, not sure if that matters).
2. Generate the ADF BC components (entity, assoc, vo's, and view links).
3. Ensure that Composition Association is checked in the Assoc object.
4. Add the parent to the app module, then add the child nested below it.
5. Create a new task flow and drop CreateInsert for the parent object onto the flow. Make this the default activity
6. Drop the CreateInsert from the child object onto the task flow, and link it as the outcome of the parent's CreateInsert
7. Drop a page fragment onto the task flow that is bound to the parent object, and make it the third step in the task flow.
8. Drop a commit onto the task flow as the forth step, and place the button on the page that invokes the action corresponding to the commit.
Run it. As soon as the CreateInsert is hit for the child, the error is thrown.
Another associated bug is that (appears to have the same culprit) the child will not be inserted unless one of it's attributes is set (note that you have to turn off Composition Association to get the above error to disappear). However, the child will not be inserted into the database unless one of its setters are invoked.
**The workaround is to use CreateWithParams instead of CreateInsert in order to create the parent object, and pass in at least one parameter to set an attribute on the parent (even to blank). The same must be done on the child unless one of it's setters are invoked.
Note that we're using SQL Server 2008 R2. This appears to be a problem with ADF BC and not with the target DB platform, but I have not tested with Oracle. -

You don't.
You synced your iPhone with iTunes for the first time after how long?
And this didn't happen by syncing only. This means you transferred the backup for another iPhone or you restored the iPhone with iTunes. It is not possible for everything to be lost by syncing alone. All iTunes content on your iPhone can be lost but not any photos in the Camera Roll and the same for contacts unless you synced contacts with an empty address book application on your computer. -
Please help! I upgraded to ios 6 today and I cannot find out where to disbale the location for the camera. I DO NOT want my pictures to be geotagged or have any type of location marked on them for safety reasons. Does anyone know how to disable it? Please help and thank you!

Problem importing metadata into opensso IDP with SP Entity ID with
I have a client using "Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server v2.1.1 Patch06" with OpenSSO as a IDP and I have an SP installed on my Solaris 10 server. The EntityID I have for my SP contains a 'dash' in it and the IDP administrator is indicating that the '-' in the name is causing errors. They say if they remove the '-' then the data imports fine. The error they get when trying to import my SP metadata is
Entity descriptor "https://company.pkg-smart.com/shibboleth" under realm "/" has invalid syntax.
Can someone give me direction on how to allow dashes in the SP entity Id please? The opensso documentation shows samples of SPs with dashes in the name so I do not know if there is something else that needs to be set. Although I am not using OPENSSO, my SP works fine with other non-opensso IDPs.
We suggested url encoding the entityID but there was unclear indication that it was generating errors/warning.
I appreciate any assistance or direction, especially for any other forums that may help.

So should that {{CustomObject[...].Contact.Field(C_EmailAddress)}} bit go into the definition instead of {{CustomObject[265].Field[916]}}, or into the identifier field name bit, or somewhere else?

Trying to re-download & re- install my iPhoto since replacing my SSD. Its no longer free & I have had it downloaded/ installed it when I installed OS Mavericks the first time. Now since the SSD is replaced, not sure it recognizes it & does not let me download/ installed iPhoto for free. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you -

Problems with PSE for Mac Trial - Downloaded it and cannot find it
I am fairly computer savvy, but new to Mac. I had PSCS2 on my old PC and with the conversion to Mac I was going to go for PSE8 (since a lot of the things I use PS for weren't available in PSE when I bought CS2, but are now available with PSE8). I downloaded the free trial (bc I wanted to compare it to CS), but cannot figure out how to launch it.

It should have gone into your downloads folder, which is usually able to be accessed as a stack in the dock if you haven't removed it from there. If you have, open a finder window and click on your username>downloads.

I am having issues syncing with outlook calendar. Can anyone help?
I use iTunes.
So connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes. Click on the name of your iPad. (You may need to make the sidebar visible, control S on a PC)
Navigate to the info tab and scroll down. There should be an option to sync the outlook calendar. Choose that and then sync and you should be good to go. -

My older computer got smashed and even though I had all my information changed to this computer for some reaseons itunes did not. Therefore they are not transferring all my purchased items. How do I fix this so they are transferred and also my niece uses my credit card to purchase songs which I now want removed from her account as she no longer lives here. Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re running into an Apple ID password issue on your iPod touch, and you’ve created another account which you weren’t able to verify because you didn’t receive the verification email.
Try resetting the Apple ID password for the account that’s already on your iPod touch as shown here:

I downloaded the new itunes version on my pc, backed up my ipad to itunes, then installed ios 5.0. Everything went well except my music i purchased on my ipad is no longer showing in itunes, the music that was on my pc was transferred to it (which i do not want on my ipad). Any suggestions on what happened to my music purchased on my ipad? I am sure I backed up up prior to install. Thanks for any help.
Open iTunes, go to the iTunes Store, and then go to Purchased on the right hand side under Music Quick Links.
You can re-download all the songs, apps, or books you have previously purchased.
I'm not sure if this is a requirement, but just in case, make sure you download the latest version of iTunes (v10.3) too.
