Help with DSL Transition EMail

Sir / Madam,
I am a one man operation that suggests tech to small businesses. I am also one of your customers.
One of our common customers {edited for privacy} needs FIOS. We asked and asked over the years and were put off.
The owners need to put in a video system. DSL cannot handle the bandwidth. So we needed to look elsewhere. Comcast was able to provide the services needed. We set about an orderly transition. It has been complicated with the fact that much of the business before this year was done using an email address, (I will give you the name later)@ Verizon.Net.
We tried calling your business offices a number of times and got a new answer every time we called. Since you record calls for customer service improvement, I am sure you can find some of the calls. I can give you a list of phone numbers Verizon was called from if you want to track this down.
We bounced all over your systems from corporate to residential to the KeepMyEmail.com in order to preserve the email address.
But your corporate system is just too confusing. The email address is lost. Evidently no one can tell us how to get it back. It seems that the wall of your DSL systems are preventing the transfer of this email – even to the client’s residential account as a sub-account.
Yesterday, I was promised a call back from a manager today from one of your staff – and it is now after 5 pm on a Friday. We are blown off yet again. No one can tell me how to get into your corporate chain, so I am sending this email blindly to you in the hopes it can get to someone who can help.
This auto body shop needs access to its email. What can be done to help these people? I cannot believe that your company is that inflexible to business that this email address is lost to your system forever.
This company put faith in you that you would take care of its business needs. It marketed itself along with your product. All advertising literature had both company’s names displayed when it says [email protected]. Now if a customer sends an email to this address and it bounces back it looks bad for both entities. Even if we can get a way to forward this email to another address or give a reply back that is enough. The shop would pay a fee to you for that – we even attempted to do that with the KeepMyEmail.com system you control.
I cannot imagine Verizon is opening an auto body shop and wants to steal the customers of this establishment. It is not like Verizon needs this email address for anything.
How can we work together to set this right?

Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". Need help with CS4 transitions

Hi,
I am trying to use a cross dissolve transition. To make it simple, I have two clips. I'm obviously doing something wrong here. I've watched the Adobe TV tutorial and all the guy does is to select cross dissolve from the effects box, and drags it over to the clip on the timeline. I think I am doing the exact same thing, but when I play my clip back, I can see no transition effect played back.
Maybe I'm putting it in the wrong place I thought, so I tried putting it in front of the split between the two clips. Then again at the beginning of the second clip. Neither of them worked, so I shut CS4 down, and booted it up again. I started a new project, and put two new clips in it. I put the dissolve transition at the beginning of the second clip, and it worked like a charm. Then to see if that was a fluke, went to a point about 3 minutes earlier in the timeline. So now I am on clip one. I go and make a cut in the timeline, and try to place another Cross dissolve at this spot. It appears to place the transition there because it creates the rectangular box, and it has the name cross dissolve in that rectangular box,but when I try to play it to see the transition, it isn't working. Go back to the beginning of the second clip, and that one still works perfectly.
I noticed that there is a difference in the appearance of the two cross dissolve rectangular boxes. The one that works has a single diagonal line that goes from lower left to upper right in the cross dissolve box, and then there are a whole series of diagonal lines that go from upper left to lower right all across the cross dissolve box . It looks like a whole bunch of dark gray and white backslashes. In the one that doesn't work, there is just that single diagonal line that goes from lower left to upper right. No backslashes on this one. What am I doing right in the first one, but not in the second?
I find that it will work perfectly if I put in a new clip. If I put in the Cross Dissolve at the beginning of a new clip that I add to the timelime, it will work perfectly. It is only when I try to split a clip that is already on the timeline, and then put the cross dissolve in at that point.
Perhaps it is not possible to do what I am attempting to do. Maybe you can't split a clip and place the transition at that point?

When I am shooting video, it is not unusual for me to be taping a scene of a mountain, for example, and then put the camera on pause, while I briefly position myself to take video of the river that is flowing at my feet. That is what is happened on this clip that I am attempting to put the transition in between. Rather than having the scene just instantly change at this point, from the mountain to the river, it would be nice to have a smoother transition then that.
My mind was working on the problem while sleeping last night, and I think I might understand how to handle it. It might have been too simple for me to think about yesterday. I haven't tried it yet, but would it not work, to insert the mountain scene from my source monitor into the timeline, and then go back and insert the river scene into the time line instead of inserting both of them at the same time. Would these not now be two separate clips on the timeline, and the transition could now be applied?
Your analogy with the DJ is very good, but it isn't quite the same. You are correct in that he would be only fading from one song to the same spot on the same song. In my case I am going from an image of a mountain to an image of a river. Same clip, but different images. I appreciate the help, and your thoughts.

Help with deleting junk email

Can anyone please help with a problem I'm having with icloud email. I have a number (not all) of messages in junk mail and no matter what I do I can't seem to delete them. I delete them, they are gone, but when I come back they are back again but any other messages I might have deleted at the same time are deleted.

Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Mail then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync your Mail.

C3 touch and type HELP with mms and email

I have a C3-01 touch and type my provider is AT & T I need any help to get my email settings and internet settings AT & T have been NO help since i did NOT buy my phone threw them!!! At first I had trouble with receiving pic messages and send pic messaging so i sent a question threw nokia and someone had the settings i followed the steps and now i can receive and send pic messages and AT & Twas trying to tell me I wouldn't be able to since i didn't buy my phone threw them they were of NO help so now i am asking anyone that can help again i need the steps to set my phone so i can get my email and internet any one with info let me know THANK YOU!!! Turn off your phone and then turn on your phone. Usually resetting the phone temporarily fixes the problem

Help with SUBMIT BY EMAIL, radio buttons

Hi guys:
I have a two parter. I sincerely appreciate any advice!
1. Using Adobe Acrobat/Adobe LiveCycle Designer (mostly LiveCycle) I want to somehow pull a user-entered value from the PDF into the subject line of the email, created when the user clicks on "SUBMIT BY EMAIL".
Specifically, when the end-user fills in the "Employee ID" line in the PDF form, and submits the form, I'd like the subject line of the Submit by Email -email to read "Employee #___" with the ___ obviously being the employee ID.
Any help would be great; thanks!
2. I am aware of how to prevent a PDF being submitted via email if the enduser hasn't filled out a certain part of it -- a message pops up saying that the user hasn't filled in a required line, and the line is highlighted with a red box, etc.
What I can't figure out is as follows: I have two radio buttons, one (and only one) of which MUST be slected by the user. How do I set it up so that either one or the other must be selected in order to submit? Currently the form will only submit if you have both selected.

I can help with the first part I think. I just tried this out using Designer and Acrobat 8, and it worked. (I saved my form as a dynamic acrobat 8 pdf)
I got this script from searching the forum and then tweaked it a tiny bit so that it works for the subject line. (http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?addBookmark@@.3bc34abf/44)
Using a regular button for submitting, I added this javascript as a click event:

So, my variable "Comment" will return the number typed into the EmployeeID field and put it in the subject line after "Employee #". If you copy/paste the code, make sure you change the email address and body message to be what you want.

Need help with my Yahoo Email

I just purchased a new Desktop this year and am having difficulties with my Yahoo email.
After writing a new email, when I go to put the person's email address in, previously I could just type a couple of letters from their email address and it would automatically input different address's.
Now after writing an email, nothing comes up. I have to actually save my email as a draft, go find the email address and copy/paste it into the new email.
When I click on about my computer, I know it says my system is a 10.8.3
Can anyone help me to solve my problem?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:

from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Help with iCloud/syncing emails

I may be missing something really obvious here as I like to think I'm pretty good with technology and have been Mac based for the last 8 odd years so I'm used to the Apple setup etc. However, I'm having some difficulties getting things syncing across devices and wondered if anyone knew how to resolve this.
I have several different email addresses I use, my personal one and my work one, plus the standard icloud one you get when you create an icloud account. My personal email address is from my own domain name so is set up as an 'other' type of email account, my work email is Exchange Server type.
Across my iPhone, iPad, Mac and iCloud on the web the Exchange email address syncs perfectly. I can send/receive email from this account and if I delete a message/read a message/move a message to another folder etc it syncs automatically across all devices. With my own personal email, although I can read/delete/send emails from any device, they don't sync, in that I may read all my emails on my iPhone and then have to go through them again on my Mac and my iPad separately.
Also, when I log into iCloud on the web, the only emails visable are from my iCloud email address and this is all I can send emails from as well.
My personal email address is the one my Apple ID is set with.
Is anyone able to shed any light on this for me please as its extremely frustrating to have to keep going through my emails 3 times each day, and even more frustrating that my work email which is Microsoft based works better than my Apple Mail account!!

Thanks for that nunomonterio, I shall get this set up now to try it out.
In the meantime though can I just check a couple of things....
That means I can only redirect one domain I assume, so it uses relevant smtp server (I have a couple of different domains).
Also, surely that mean that when I respond to my emails forwarded from my own domain to the icloud account they will be sent with my icloud email address or can I set them to display the from address of the relevant domain they were originally sent to?

I also would recommend a free form mail solution like

Help with making an Email Submit button on a form!

Im making a form using livecycle for the first time.
Im trying to put on it a email submit button - i used email submit field and made the button. Then in the Objects Palette, in the box that says email address i put in the email address that i want it to be sent to. I then tried to email the form, and i received an email, but the attachment was just a bunch of codes, not the form. I want the email to come through with the PDF form.
I searched on help and this is what i found:

Hi,
The issue is that if the form is not Reader Enabled, then users with Reader cannot submit the form as a PDF.
They can submit it as an XML file and then you would re-import this back into the form on receipt. It is an extra step, but it does have the advantage that the data being submitted as an XML file is very small.
If you really need/want the form to be submitted as a PDF AND your users have Reader, then the form will have to be Reader Enabled.
There are two options:
Reader Enable using Acrobat Standard (version 9) or Acrobat Professional (version 8). This will give certain rights, like the ability for users with Reader to save the form and for the form to be submitted as a PDF. However there are licensing restrictions, see EULA.
The other option is to Reader Enable the form using LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES2. This is a server product, which entails additional cost and a cost to Reader Enable each form. It is intended for processing large volumes of forms/large volumes of data.

Help with Subaccounts Where Email is Linked to Yahoo

I have been a Verizon customer for several years, and have always had my Verizon email linked to Yahoo. At one point, I created a subaccount for my spouse, which she uses as her primary, personal email address. I attempted today to create an additional subaccount for my son to use and was surprised to get a message saying that accounts linked to Yahoo do not permit creation of subaccounts.
Why was this permitted previously but not now? Is the only solution to unlink from Yahoo? What are the implications for my spouse's subaccount if we unlink from Yahoo now?

You can still create subaccounts even though you are linked with Yahoo. I just used my personal account and verified its still working. I am not sure if it was a temporary problem with your account, but if you are still having trouble please send me a private message.

Hi, I'm using a mac book pro with leopard. recently i installed my old version of imovie HD6 on my computer. Now i can't use most of the transitions available on the software.i can see the effect but i can't add it to my clips. I have the same software on my G4 and it works fine. I would appreciate if someone can help me with this.

The first thing I would try is trashing the preference list and then running a disk repair.
Quit iMovie.
Locate a file named com.apple.iMovie.plist and get rid of it. iMovie will create a new one the next time it runs. Empty the trash and run a permissions repair from the Disk Utility folder.

Help with some transitions

Hello, i'm trying to do add some transitions to my video. I want to do a intro like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBPV0f6c56s
I have already written the swords, the texts and the central anime minecraft guy with Anime Studio, but i need to do this 3 things:
1. Am expanding cirle opening
2. A light/flash as transition between the first animation and the next logo
(I have another question, but more difficult: I want to do a sun rays effect from an angle)
All of these effects-transitions are in the youtube video that i linked.
Can someone help me with one of these questions?

The circle wipe is just that, a transition. Look in Effects>Transition. I'll give you a clue, a circle has a radius... It's there along with some more interesting effects.
You can also do a circle transition with a simple animated mask, use a scaled round layer as a track matte or about a hundred other combinations.
The light burst effect can be done with a simple masked white solid blend mode set to add and opacity keyframes or by searching your effects and pre-sets for light b. You'll find it. Just add it to a solid between your layers, set the blend mode to add and use an animated mask and opacity to bring in the effect. (the yellow thing in the middle is the animated mask that makes CC light burst interesting.
Same thing can be used for your sun rays. It's just a matter of layering and the shape of your mask.
Here again, there are dozens of ways to achieve this effect.
If you're completely lost then start here. This is basic enough AE that you shouldn't really need a step by step tutorial to pull it off.
Or as dave suggested, get Anime Studio.

First of all, are you 100% certain you got a BlackBerry and not just a fake BlackBerry?
If you are certain that you do have a legitimate BlackBerry, then it sounds like the BlackBerry was previously set up on BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) and likely has an IT policy in place. Here are a couple of steps that can help you get up and running.
First off, start by downloading and installing a program called BBSAK to your computer. You can download it from here: http://bbsak.org. Once you have installed it to your computer, open the program, and plug your BlackBerry in. When prompted, enter your BlackBerry password (if you do not have a password installed, just press OK). Then go to the Misc. tab and click on the Factory Reset button. Note: this will wipe everything, including the IT policy off the device. If you have anything you want saved, make sure you perform a backup using the BlackBerry Desktop Software first.
Once the Factory Reset is complete, you will need to re-register the device on the BlackBerry network by going to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Tables, press the BB Menu button and select Register Now. You should then be able to open the Email Settings app and enter your personal email address.
Now then, if that doesn't work, then you need to check with your carrier to ensure that you have a BlackBerry data plan (BIS) on your account. A regular data plan will not work - you need to get a BlackBerry data plan. If you have a BlackBerry data plan, then get your carrier to resend your service books. That should get your browser and BIS email settings to start working.
