Help with WBS status management
Hi,
I am trying to create a new user status for a WBS in OKO2 which will forbid material postings through requisitions and orders and also forbid sales orders to be created. These are standard business transactions and I can see are easily available to forbid when creating the new status.
It works when trying to create a new material document or sales order.
However, can anyone help as I am also trying to ensure that if a material posting has been made already to the WBS or sales order is assigned and then someone tries to change the user status to this new user status, then the validation of the project on save will create an error message an advise that the status can not be set due to an existing material document or sales order.
I would like to do this without having to create an additional validation user exit.
Can anyone advise if this is possible?

For postings that are already made this can't be achieved. As suggested by Abdul you may have to use Validations or any other work around to achieve this.

I feel any project to start with should have a prior planning,that too particularly for Object oriented programming projects,I feel UML is the best tool for entire process.I think rational software has got lot of Project Management Tools(PMT) and products at all stages.Please go through the rational.com site and hope you could find some info.I feel the answer to your second question is partly 'yes' and partly 'no'.The modules that you can split it up which have got some independent attributes,but it should not be too much in your project,then it affects the work matrix/There should be a optimal process to decide and that you can yourself formulate depending on the time frame,either way the last step of build or integration is not flexible enough that you should mind,modular flexibility can be there but the integration stage you are tied with a fixed process.So plan accordingly using a PMT tool for any project that matters and all the best.Bye

Help with creating a management plugin in OEM.
Hi Everyone ,
I was trying to create a management plugin - which would monitor a WLS instance.
So we created a plugin using the emjmxcli tool , and it worked fine.
Background info :
WLS side - managed server running - has 2 channels HTTP/ HTTPS - and 2 virtual hosts created : one for each channel. Applications are deployed into this virtual hosts.
EM side - after creating a target of the particular type (from management plugin) , drilling down into the metrics gives different attributes
eg : "com.bea:Name=Default[http],ServerRuntime=ManagedServer_1,Type=ServerChannelRuntime" ------ where ServerChannelRuntime = mbean i am monitoring.
Among these , there are 2 attributes , one for each Channel which i specified earlier.
Now the issue is - I need to modify the plugin target/collection xmls so to SUM up these 2 attributes (HTTP and HTTPS) , and filter out all other attributes which are shown. It takes up unnecessary space in db as well.
So i tried - adding an <executiondescriptor> -

[SOLVED] Test conversion to systemd - Help with iptables status
With all the discussion around systemd and with a move for systemd to [core] soon, I thought I would convert an arch laptop from initscripts to systemd and see how it worked.
I followed the advice on the arch wiki for systemd, having already moved the systemd compatible parameters out of rc.conf a while ago. After installing systemd and systemd-arch-units, and adding init=/bin/systemd to the boot kernel line the system booted up nicely with systemd - graphical login failed as the relevant unit is not enabled at that stage - so hitting return to get a login prompt and logging as root it was quick to enable graphical.target and kdm.service, and rebooting then gave me a normal kdm login screen and then a normal login to kde.
All fine at this point. (By the way total login time was just over 30 seconds for both initscripts and systemd) - then it was necessary to check which services were running - most were running by default under systemd including postfix, dovecot, and sound worked fine with a quick check on a browser for a video feed. Networking was working fine too.
However iptables which was previously working fine under initscripts was not running - I checked that the firewall rules file was intact which is was. Executing systemctl enable iptables.service appeared to be accepted but after executing systemctl start iptables.service and checking status again it was "exited" - the commands listed under the "start" command seemed normal and no error message appeared in the /var/log/messages file about iptables.
Can anyone suggest what is needed to get iptables working under systemd (yes I have read the wiki entries but nothing seemed to be relevant to fixing that particular issue).

The service is of type "oneshot". I *think* that means that it is expected to exit.
As I understand it, iptables is a bit like ipfw. It's in the kernel and the userspace tools just provide an interface to that. So there's no daemon to run.
You can tell if it has worked correctly by
iptables --list
to check that your rules have been loaded correctly.
Note: I hope somebody will quickly correct me if I'm wrong about this because I've been assuming this is the expected behaviour on my own machine!
Perfectly correct - I didn't think to check iptables --list but yes all the rules are there as they should be.
It would be nice to have this documented in the wiki under systemd to help anyone else coming across the same issue.

HELP with Lenovo Power Manager
Hi, I recently my new Thinkpad T530 and I accidentally uninstalled Power Manager. I re-installed it. Now when ever I log on It says, "RUNDLL: There was a problem starting C:/Program. The specified module could not be found." And whenever I turn on the icon in the taskbar it is gray and has three dashes. PLEASE HELP.

Need help with Internet Based Management
I work at a small university that just deployed SCCM 2012 R2 recently. We are currently using it on our intranet in HTTP mode. We would like to setup internet based management so that we can start managing and deploying software update to laptops
that wander off campus. At the moment we have a primary site server that manages all of our clients. It's my understanding that these are our options:
Use some type of reverse proxy on a DMZ that will forward requests to our internal primary site server.
Setup a second server on a DMZ that will serve as a management and distribution point. Since there is a requirement to have this DMZ server joined to a domain, we would poke holes in the firewall so this server can communicate with the primary site
server and so it can be joined to our internal domain controller (obviously bad security practice)
Setup a second server on a DMZ that will serve as a management and distribution point. Setup a domain controller in the DMZ unrelated to our internal domain, so the SCCM server can be joined to a domain. Poke holes in the firewall so this server
can only communicate with the SQL server on the internal primary site server (more secure than option 2).
Setup a DirectAccess server in the DMZ and have clients use DirectAccess to access the internal primary site SCCM server.
Have I covered the main options here? I would love to implement option 4, but not all of my clients are using Windows 7 Enterprise. A lot of my clients are still on Windows 7 Pro. We are no longer deploying the pro version, but we are stuck
with the current ones for awhile. The other issue is that we also have some Mac OS X clients that need to be managed as well. Unfortunately, I have to eliminate this option for now. Would the recommended solution be to use option 3 seeing
that option 2 seems very insecure? This whole internet based management seems very confusing to me. If anyone has any suggestions or can point me to a good step-by-step guide that would be awesome. Thanks...It all depends on the (security) requirements. In most cases it indeed comes down to either scenario 3, or 4.

Some question about option 3. Is the domain controller in the DMZ just a dummy one? In other words,
does it just exist because of the requirement that a site server must be a member of a domain? Are there any trust relationships between the DMZ domain and the internal domain? Also what are the ramifications of joining the DMZ site server to the
internal domain? My boss want to cut back on the number of virtual machines to spin up. Would installing the DMZ site server and domain controller on the same virtual machine be an acceptable compromise? -

I'm not seeing anything like a navigation area, preview area, or action area. All I see is explicit configuration and implicit configuration.
How do I associate the UIBB with my views as it describes here on page 14? Is this something I can only do with SAP NW 7.1 Enhancement Package 1?

Help with Cisco 5508 management interface

I'm trying to verify some behaviors I'm seeing with my 5508 controller setup and forgive me for missing anything obvious, I've zero experience with this hardware and clueless on the best practices. With that said... out of the box I ran through the AutoInstall process.
I gave my service port an IP address on my subnet, 10.10.8.0/24 vlan 100 and gave the management interface the ip address 10.10.30.5/24 vlan 130
From my host I can ping the management interace 10.10.30.5 and the interface gateway 10.10.30.1
I cannot connect to the controller via 10.10.30.5 either through the web GUI or telnet
I can connect to the controller via 10.10.8.200 both through the web interface and telnet
while connected to the service port, I can ping the management port IP but I cannot ping the 10.10.30.1 gateway.
We have attached two test 3502I AP's and they found the controller and pulled correct ip addresses, clients can authenticate and access network resources as well as the Internet so for the most part, things are working but it concerns me that the management interface can't ping its own gateway.
Keep in mind, I did no other configurations besides what got configured in the AutoInstall process. What should I look at to resolve?

MikeThe service port is for out of band management and should not be connected to the network. If connected tot he network, it should not have connectivity to the management interface of the wlc.
You can create an ACL to block the service port ip to the managment vlan if you want. I normally do not connect the service port to the network. -
Need help with syncing ipod; managing iTunes from new laptop
I have a new laptop with Win 8. I'm able to open my itune library, but not able to sync with my ipod nano. I would prefer to manage my itunes from my laptop vs our old computer, as this computer is becoming obsolete. Does anyone know how to do this?

Can rows in loa with the same id_no overlap? That is, can the begdt or enddt of one row be between the begdt and enddt of another row in loa with the same id_no?
Can you have 2 (or more) rows in stat with the same id_no? Can they ovelap?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, include examples in your sample data and results. The query may need to be adjusted.

New JDWP Implementation - help with suspend status
Hi All,
My first post here.
I am presently implementing JDWP into a small VM - no JVMTI underneath. I am having trouble understanding the interaction between debugger (eclipse 3.4) and debuggee (the VM).
The VM starts a single thread and suspends all while it waits for a incoming connection. A connection comes in from eclipse and debugger/debuggee make their way through all commands/replies up the the VirtualMachine_Resume command to get things started again.
During all this, the debugger requests a event set CLASS_PREPARE on a class with a classmatch filter and a SuspendPolicy of THREAD. Fair enough.
So ... the VM sends the CLASS_PREPARE command to the debugger and then suspends the single thread. As there is only one thread, the VM has to basically spin waiting for something from the debugger to resume the thread (I guess ??).
BUT .. then the debugger nevers sends anything.
Is my understanding correct? Should the debugger respond to get stuff going again? (yes - "I'm doing something wrong", no = "I don't understand, please explain ...")

Greg.Self-reply .. for the record and as a note to other (unfortunate) persons who are implementing JDWP from the spec.
My issue was with what happened when the VM started. I was performing the startup VMStart interaction before the main class had been loaded. It is wise to start the VM/debugger interaction after the main class has been loaded - escpecially if your testing involves putting a breakpoint in the main class. :-/

Please help with JWSDP's manager

Fresh out of the box, JWSDP 1.2's Manager does not seem to work. For example, when I point my browser to http://localhost:8080/manager/list, I would get an error like this

Based in the information of txt file, I need to split a file.txt into "n" .txt files, depending of the blocks thats the file containt. It's delimited by """".
And put the name between "UZ0RN0" the second field
Example:

Help with Help in CS5? - Flash specifically
I recently upgraded to CS5 from CS3. Previously, in CS3, I always found Help to be very helpful and easy to use. Now, in CS5, I've found Help to be extremely difficult to use and cant find answers to my questions. Maybe im doing it wrong?? Maybe my Help is broken? Why isnt Help helpful anymore? Anyone else experiencing this??
