Hi there samrafamily, you can indeed get your old BBM contacts back if you simply reinstall BBM.
To ensure you get your icon back, go to Options > Applications, find BBM in the list of applications, then delete it (press BB Menu > Delete), then simply redownload it from http://blackberry.com/bbm.

You buy one download and one download only, it is your responsibility to backup your music.
it has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases -

Not much you can do. You overwrote your current data with older data when you restored the phone from that backup. Your data's gone.

To download any photos that were on your My Photos Stream, then you will need to have Photo Streamed turned on within your computer. Keep in mind that My Photos Stream only holds the last 30 days of photos and those will be the only one that will download. Good morning. Getting notifications that you are close to exceeding your allowance can certainly be alarming. It would be my pleasure to help put your mind at ease.
I understand you are not streaming movies, music, etc. Which these features will use a lot of data. Are you using the Mobile Hotspot on your phone. This may also cause you to exceed your data allowance quickly if you do not power if off after you are done using the feature. To turn off mobile hostpot tap settings>general>personal hotspot>off. Do you have any third party applications that you have installed that may be running a lot of data?
To ensure applications are not consistently running in the background do the following press the menu button at the bottom of your phone twice. All the open apps will then appear. Select and hold the bottom of the screen. A minus sign will then appear in the top left of each app. Select each minus sign to close out the application.

Try using these steps to stop Lost Mode from iCloud.com:
Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info
Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
Click All Devices, then select the device that’s in Lost Mode.
Click Lost Mode, then change the information or click Stop Lost Mode.

I lost all my ipod songs when my mom plugged her exact same ipod (5th generation nano) into my computer. She did not get my songs on hers but somehow I lost mine. I tried the five R's and evrything I could find online. I cannot get the songs from my iTunes library back on my ipod. I get a message that says. "Gina's ipod cannot be restored because it is being used in another application." Please help me
Why do you need to restore your iPod to resync your content back over to it from your iTunes library? You should just be able to configure the content to sync to your device as you did before this problem occurred.

I couldn't open the files from a Canon XF 300 into Final Cut Pro 7, so I downloade the plugin from Apple but still can't open the files. I opened and clicked on the installer icon. I'm not sure the plugin was actually installed. C

Message was edited by: BigDealCam123As you probably know the Canon plug-in enables Log & Transfer in FCP7. I'm not sure whether it works with Final Cut Express or not.
Look in Applications>Canon Utilities. I'm running 10.6 as well and that is where it's located on my machine.
