HFM 933, error executing vb script %0 (for rules file)

i have a HFM rules file that is error-free, but sometimes, when i run a consolidation via SmartView, it is aborted and the error is "Error Executing VB Script %0".
Does anyone know why this occurs?

The error message you shared may not have anything to do with HFM rules. There are a number of things that can generate a VBScript error: HFM rules, HFM custom member lists, or permissions problems/configuration problems with IIS. Smart View uses IIS, so maybe this is a configuration issue there. If you log out and log back in again, perform the very same activity successfully, it could mean you have load balance problem, or some other network related error. If it's a permission problem on the server, it will affect all users in the same way. An HFM member list problem would reveal itself any time the member list is called: whether through HFM's forms, grids, smart view, or Reports.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Smo.Server.ExecuteNonQuery throw an error executing a script with IF statement

I am trying to executed this script (see below) using Smo libraries with powershell (this script works in SSMS)

however, I always got an
Exception calling "ExecuteNonQuery" with "1" argument(s): "An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch."
if I delete the if statement, the script execute without erros... is there any problem to use if statements? I would really appreciate any help

Helper answer does make sense and you won't be able to modify database which doesn't exists. However, your syntax's are correct.
However, if you are executing it via Powershell as mentioned by HoroChan then
I recommend you to increase the statementTimeout to appropriate value.
There may be chances that alerting database got hanged and exceeded the timeout. So instead of IMMEDIATE ROLLBACK you can use
WITH NO WAIT
From MSDN:
Specifies that if the requested database state or option change cannot complete immediately without waiting for transactions to commit or roll back on their own, the request will fail.
So your overall code will look like
USE MASTER;
IF EXISTS(select * from sys.databases where name = 'dbname')

i'm looking for a command to search for data files (*.dat) in a folder and all subfolders below.
I checked out command DirListGet. This command only search in the declared folder and not in the subfolders below.
Anyone an idea?
I don't want to use a loop-structure for finding subfolders and browse for the data files.

Error: Executing OWB Scripts Outside the OWB Tool

We aim to extract OWB scripts (ddls, pl/sql, etc) and run them outside of the OWB tool in Beta and Production.
Thus far, were able to execute ddls and compile OWB generated pl/sql procedures. Were encountering errors on all attempts to execute the pl/sql code outside of OWB.

OWB generates mapping as package of procedures. This package has the only external procedure/function (depend on OWB version: 9.2.0.4 - function, prev. releases - procedure).
So, mapping that you have deployed could be executed by the following code (as for 9.2.0.4 version of OWB):

Does oracle still creates a user nobody"nobody" is a "standard" Unix/Linux lowly privileged user, which is used by DBMS_SCHEDULER by default.
You should change permissions on /export/home/bwsolaris, e.g.
$ chmod 777 /export/home/bwsolaris
or use a different directory, where everyone has access, for example /tmp.

JScript error in Window script block for SharePoint web part

I am getting a runtime JScript error while trying to execute my web part. I assume that this error may be occuring because I am trying to assign a Javascript function to a SPMenuField.NavigateUrlFormat property.
I have tried modifying the AllowedProtocols value in one the array variables for the SPUrlUtility.AllowedProtocols using the instructions at
http://tipssharepoint.blogspot.in/2010/06/using-javascript-in-navigateurlformat.html. Even that didnt work.
Could someone please help me on this?

Anyone know what this error in HFM is "Error Executing VBScript %0"?

Keep getting this error when I try to calculate an entity in the month of December, but I don't have the issue when I "Calculate" in November. Need to know what the error is and what the solution is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Usually this error comes up as a run time rules error, when executing "Calculate Contribution" commands. If instead you execute a "Calculate" or "Force Calculate" command it should give you more specific details on what the problem is, if the error is at the base Value level.

[SOLVED] makepkg error: Why is it looking for '.part' files?

I've been seeing the following problem with every package I try to build with makepkg. The download works, but then makepkg complains that it can't find the source file:

Why is it looking for the .part file, instead of the .tgz file? When I run makepkg again, without doing anything in between, it finds the .tgz file and goes on its merry way.
I'm using curl, and I haven't tried wget. Judging by my unscientific sample of forum posts it looks like wget is the de facto standard, so this may not be on anyone else's radar.

It looks like this code is the culprit. I don't have time to dig into it right now, but presumably this works with wget. I would have thought any cmdline downloader would manage renaming the .part file itself...?

Error while creating process chain for flat file loading

Hi All,
I had Created a process Chain to load Transactiion data(Full load) form flat file which is in my computer.
start>Load>DTP>DeleteIndex>DTP loading CUBE--> Create Index
but the system is throwing an error as "An upload from the client workstation in the background is not possible."
I dont know why this error is coming?

Hi Mamta,
Basically if you want to load the DS through FF using process chain, the FF has to be placed in Application server. We cant load the FF when it is located in the client local workstation(FF On your PC).
So better you remove the Infopackage step from the PC. Load the IP manually. Once it is completed you can start the process chain with the following steps:
start>DTP>DeleteIndex>DTP loading CUBE> Create Index

I guess I have answered a similar question just a few minutes before on very similar post from you. Just pasting the same here .................
Are you trying to access the ASMA values from the SOAP header of the XI message for the source file name?
First of all you need to Set the Sender File Adapter for Set ASMA and then file name. So it will work fine when you actually run the scenario end to end.
But in the mapping tool when you test the mapping - there is not message header updated with the actual source filename - and whenever you try to read the FileName attribute in the message header from the UDF - it cannot find the object and returns a NullPointerException.
I would suuggest for your mapping tool testing to be successful, have a check in the java code for null values,

Rendering Error - Unable to process memory for antialias file name

I am currently trying to render a project. I am using AE 5.5. It's a kinetic typography project. It renders til about 2:02, when I need it to render all of 4 minutes and 7 seconds. I feel like it should be a memory problem.. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my project is due tonight at midnight.

Todd- I think I am going to have to just keep doing what I'm doing because it seems to be rendering the second half smoothly. However, in the future I will definitely use the image sequencing technique becuase in this project, there are going to be some noticable gaps/chops in the video becuase I basically had to guess where to start the next clip.

BPM error "Permanent error in BPE inbound processing " for 1.3 MB file ?

There is a possibility that error is in data and hence mapping step must be throwing the error.
