I tried to search through the community, but with the sheer volume of posts, I didn't find anything that seemed like the same issue.
My iPad 4 just started having issues with the volume. On either Bluetooth or the iPad Speaker, anything I'm watching or listening to drops the sound to just barely hearing it and then, about 2 seconds later, it comes back.
I haven't tried wired ear phones, but I am sure they'll be the same way.
It's very random, but consistent enough to happen several times per day.

I have restarted it and also did a Hard Reboot and it didn't help.

Well there you go, when you advertise it just be sure to say that you can't even see the scratches at half brightness and see how it goes.
Of course you are saying you want $500 for one with many scratches on the screen, has been dropped, but the scratches aren't visible at half brightness, and has no warranty. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a used model with your specs in perfect condition. But yours is far from perfect. I think your high point is $250 which is why I said 50%.

You bought a used iPhone. Amazon is not an authorized supplier of iPhones, nor are any of the 3rd parties that sell iPhones there.
You can make an appointment at the genius bar and have it looked at.
If you are very very lucky, it is still under warranty and it wasn't opened or otherwise tampered with before you bought it. In which case, Apple will replace it under warranty.
If it's not under warranty, they will replace it for $199.
If it has been opened or tampered with, they won't touch it.

Started having issues with accessing camera raw from bridge. I have CS6 and LR5. Should I attempt to uninstall CS6 and reinstall. I have backup on external hard drive for my photos but will I need to reimport photos after uninstall? Some of the forums are suggesting that my program might be corrupt. Can anyone assist?

At the very least there must be a "com.apple.ical.plist"...iCal would not function without it.
Click on the Finder icon in the dock
Click on Go > Home
Double-click Library
Double-click Preferences
Look for a file called "com.apple.ical.plist" and remove it to the trash.

How do I switch a relay then one second later switch it back?

I am currently doing an experiment where I need to send a digital output signal to a relay, the relay switches, then one second later switches back. I have connected the relay to the CB68-LP board and I can get it to manually switch when I click, but I need this to be an automatic response.
I just need to click a switch so the relay changes and 1s later changes back again. Any ideas?

I suppose that you built some kind of a VI, where you can switch the relay upon switching a boolean control. Let's call it "Relay.vi".
One very simple solution :
Build a new VI, with a sequence structure with 4 frames :
in the first frame, put a waiting loop, which will wait until a switch button is pressed;
in the second frame, wire a True boolean constant to your Relay.vi
in the third, place a wait node, and wire a 1000 ms constant to the input
in the forth, place another instance of your Relay.vi, this time connected to a False constant.
It's bot very elegant, but that's the simplest thing that you can achieve.
May that could do to start with ?

Recently started having issues with WiFi

Hello everyone,
Recently I started having serious issues with Wifi. I fixed it kind of by turning off iTunes iCloud backup, but generally the signal is low. As an iOS 5 tester in the Apple Developer program, I tested it for months on my iPod without any problems. When I got my 4S, I never had a problem with it until just a few days ago.
A friend of mine said she was also having the same problem. She claimed she turned off iCloud backup as I did, turn off both WiFi on her Mac and on her phone and reboot both. I did this. Then I turned them back on. She also suggested I forget the network and re-enter the security key. That done, it connected and had a stronger signal. After a while though, it continues to drop peareoticly. I notice that it stay's connected a lot longer now. Another friend also suggested I turn off bluetooth, although that didn't really help much. What seems to fix it tempararly is iCloud backups have to go off.
The Mac is still working great. No stupid connection errors and or dropping. I'd be curious to see if I would be having this problem with my iPod Touch. Probably not.
Anyone find any deffinate solutions to this?

Has anyone had issues with their music volume after syncing with iCloud ?

There have been several posts here and on the iphone site about this.
The jury is still out what the fix will be. Some posts say it's a problem with the metadata and the orientation data contained there-in. I can not confirm that.
I do know that when I take a landscape screen snap, the orientation is wrong when I email or upload the photo to my computer.

I hjave a Ps script that I use to wipe off data from SQL servers as aprt of a decom process.
The script is as follows.

At the moment, it runs into issues with a folder. I would either like to delete the folder as well or actually exclude it. Also as an improcement to the script, I would want it to display the list of files it has deleted.

Emoticons are not sending from mac to phone with iMessage? They show up as symbols etc.    But they will send from the iPhone to the mac?   what am i missing here.    This used to work seamlessly.   Just started having issues?

for sometime i have been using the emoticons seamlessly between my iphone and imac through imessage but now it seems to be kaput.   it will send from my phone to the imac but from the imac to the phone is converting to symbols.   what am i doing wrong?

I also noticed that the emoticons are showing up fine from iMac to MacBook.   It seems the only loss in info is with the my iPhone [iphone 5 os 6.1].   So it definitely must be on the phones end? Hoping that someone will fix this shortly.   I know it is silly but I really enjoy the personality that emoticons can add to a imessage.

I have been having issues with my apple id for over a month now. Apple Itunes support tells me its due to maintenance that they cant reset my password and I cant either thru the password site they created. I cant update apps or any thing related to my acc

I have contacted apple support for itunes many many times and no results. I can tell you there support group is not us based. One person I got was in germany I believe the other in Ireland. one went on vacation the other took over and now no emails at all on the status of my account thats been locked for over a month with no resolution in site. hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

my brand new ipad 3 or new ipad will not auto connet to 3g when leaving wifi, it normally requires a toggle of plane mode to refresh the 3g connection but sometimes needs a complete hard restart. is it just me ?

how many pages of the file are generated? also was it being written to a file or displayed on the screen? try also to check the log file for any possible solutions.

Anyone else having issues with third party routers...

Last week I started having issues with my Asus RT-N66U where certain wireless devices e.g. PS3, Xbox 360, Laptop, etc. have issues connecting to the internet (the PS3 reporting a DNS issue) even after I replaced it with a second rt-n66u.
I then tried using the HH3 I got with BT and have none of these problems.
Back on the Asus I tried a manual DNS (BTs 62.6.40.178 and 62.6.40.162) but these are having issues as well although strangely it will work fine if I use it purely as a wireless access point via the HH3 (With HH3's internal wifi disabled), right now I'm testing it again with Google's DNS but I want to know, is anyone else having any issues?
