Using a dynpro screen and not a program of type R.
Oh and also, can you use a more meaningful subject next time. Maybe 'Show report output on selection screen' may of been better.

This example lists records for Atlanta with first name Harvey.
I am able to get one search criteria but when I have 2 as above (Harvey and Atlanta) I get lost I do not know how to get these arguments from the commandline and still do a search correctly. My code at the moment is doint a hard coded search so I was trying to extract the arguments that's where I got stuck.
The main aim of my app is to search a delimited file for a search criteria passed through a command prompt.

Urgent: mwrchading workbench and jsp ref in not up: says connection reset

Actually, tools services are not getting started even after running the command for toold services.

Capturing full signal-urgent

Dear all,
urgent advise on capturing full signal.I have build a simple model to measure the phase and amplitude of 2 incoming signal.My signal are of only 0.1 seconds and have Voltage of 2 V. I am using SCB 68 board.For some reasons my labview 8.5 either capturing half the signal or 3/4 of the signal and i realise that my labview need to be synchroize with my amplifer in order to capture the full signal.Can some 1 pls advise me if theres anything wrong with my model?

I have just had a quick look at your code and I am unable to see what the issue is from that. You mentioned that you need to synchronize with your amplifier, can you elaborate on this? Is the signal that you are trying to capture a continuous signal or is it just a finite signal? If it is finite and only lasts for 0.1 seconds it may be that you need to put in a start trigger so that you start acquiring data at the correct point each time. Are you missing the beginning or end of the signal?
Once I have some more information about your application I should be able to help you out.

Error while creating a Oracle Database

Hi,
I was recently gifted with a Dell Vostro, Windows 7pro, Core i5 processor. I was trying to install Oracle in the machine and have been receiving the errors as:
The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL
The value of the environment variable PERL5LIB is more than 1023 chars. THis value cannot be set.I ignored the above errors and continued the process of installation which got installed successfully. Then tried installing the patch which was also successful.
When I started creating the DB it throws me an error as: Cannot create directory "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\cfgtoollogs\dbca\<DBNAME> and there's no Database created. I've admin rights on the machine and have checked the compatibility as well.
I've tried installing Oracle and creating DB in other Windows 7 pro machines with Core i2 duo it has been successful.
Kindly need help on urgent basis.

Urgently require advice on configuration and how to achieve the desire results.
The scenario is like this:
1. The company is selling a service to a customer. (Create a Sales Order)
2. The company then found out they do not have the capability to provide the service required, so external procurement is required (trigger a creation of PR through Schedule Line Item).
3. Then create a Purchase Order wrt to the PR created automatically through the Sales Order.
4. Then create a Service Entry Sheet with reference to the PO.
5. Perform a MIRO for the service once accepted and completed.
The problem now is that, the configuration for the Schedule Line Item is facing such complications: -
1. If the Schedule Line is configured with Item Category = Service and Acct Assignment Category = 3rd Party Service, during the creation of Sales Order, I hit an error where I am unable to enter a Material Number, and as such, unable to determine a suitable Item Category to trigger the Schedule Line.
2. If the Schedule Line is configured with Item Category = Third Party and Acct Assignment Category = 3rd Party Service, material is allowed to be maintained, and PR is created automatically once Sales Order is saved, but the PR is created with reference to Item Category that is relevant for material (not service) and as such, no service entry sheet creation is possible.
Please advice in details how to achieve the scenario mentioned above via configuration.

How to recover a PDB in noarchivelog mode?

Hi all,
Urgent! We have a PDB currently in mount stage after restoring and recovering from backup. Whenever I tried to open it or recover data file, I keep getting this error message:
Errors in file C:\ORACLE\diag\rdbms\us022348\us022348\trace\us022348_p000_8788.trc:
ORA-01113: file 9 needs media recovery
ORA-01110: data file 9: 'D:\ORADATA\12C\US022348\0FB7D663771D443E8DE2229B76E0DCA7\DATAFILE\O1_MF_USERS_B2TVTBL1_.DBF'
The CDB and PDB both are in noarchivelog modes.
Which command should I use to bring the database back?

webservice client. However, when I try to send data file to webservice, I get

It is SOAP With Attachments style webservice. Is it related somehow with javax.activation.Datahandler

Keyboard short cut for movie/audio preview

I want to go through a large collection of audio files (several thousand files) and the simplest way I've found to check out their contents has been to use the finder's preview column. However, it is still rather clunky, requiring a lot of mousing and clicking (click to select file, click in the preview column to play the preview, mouse back to previous column and click to select new file, etc.)
What I want to know is whether there is a keyboard shortcut to activate the preview play. If, for instance, the shortcut was Space (as in the QT Player) then I could quickly move down and preview a long list of audio files with a combination 'Cursor down' and 'Space'.
But Space (as, I suppose, it should) simply jumps to the top of the list of files, rather than playing the preview.
Is there a shortcut or a hack for this?

Hi Rick,
There may be an even faster solution, but here, that's what I'd try:
Using the finder's preview column,
replace all the clicking and mousing with the keyboard equivalents, that is:
- "click to select file": navigate through the folders in column view with the arrow keys.
- "click in the preview column to play the preview": hit command-O (+ command-W, not at all urgent but if you mind the mess on the Desktop).
- "mouse back to previous column": arrow back.
(of course you knew the Applications Switcher (command-Tab) is set to get you back the previously used app, in you case the Finder..)
- "and click to select new file": arrows etc.

Also, what happens if you select all your sound files before hitting command-O?
In Preview this one too is very handy.
Mousing simple:
There is another way of mousing that may be simpler, because it is one simple mouse back and forth travel between the files and the Dock, with no clicking:
Just drag the file directly onto the Dock icon of the application that opens them. It doesn't matter if soon your Desktop is cluttered with dozens of open files. Use option-command-W from time to time or even quit the app.

my doubt is in.tr.code fb02 and after putting doc type bp(bank payables) after executing that i will get screen showing details ie., doc no., year, type do.date and posting date.
my client wants outgoing cheq details ie., to who we have issued the cheques with cheque no, date, and bank.
if we go to drilldown report of fb03 we r getting but each and every entry they cant go and drilldown it..
we cheked in fchn but that requirement wont suit to my client..
can any one suggest me.

To do this I need to divide the sum of surgeries with a state "Urgent" by the total surgeries
In order to pull all the Total surgeries I would need to exclude the surgeries with the state "Cancelled", AND make sure to get rid of duplicates a single surgery may have.
So this is what I came up with, but I'm not able to apply the following formula in SQL for the rate of Urgent surgeries:

Hi,
Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

i do not know the process how to add it.

Hi,
Generally reports in SAP are created using ABAP program.
In it whatever changes u want to make - may it be in the header or footer or the main report, u need to make changes to the report as such.
Your requirement is to insert compnay logo or address in teh header
In case of logo - Since it is a graphical element, u need to import the logo to the SAP System and the steps are defined in teh previous replies. It will only make the logo available in the SAP system and NOT in ur report. To make it available in your report, u need to make changes to the Code.
In case of address - There is no graphical element present, but simply a plain text. Hence no upload is required , but just a modification of the report alone will do
But for both the cases, u need the help of the ABAPer to change the code and the chages are very simple to make.

Direct export (exp.exe) support for japanese Multibyte and DoubleByte

Hi,
We are working on data export methods. We are trying to use oracle direct export (exp.exe) on command line using DBCS username and password. but we could not able to succeed in connecting.
in japanese we create a user "ＤＢＣＳ" and try to connect using exp.exe, however is not connecting using the below command.
C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\exp.exe "D　B　C　S"/PASSWORD.
Could you please tell me how can i use this command to connect to direct export and run the command successfully.
This is very very urgent, request you to reply me ASAP.

This is very very urgent, request you to reply me ASAP.First of all urgent questions are best directed to oracle support. I also answer to urgent questions but only from my coworkers and customers; however I get paid for that mostly....It also helps to post in the correct forum (one of these: https://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=18), and be sure to add version infos as well as platform versions.
