OPen Disk Utility & verify the drive first, if it says it needs repair get back to us, if not hold OPtion or alt key when opening iPhoto, see if you can choose the Library to rebuild.

So, this past week I had a lot of problems with my computer and had to replace my hard drive. Doing so, meant that I lost all my files, pictures, Word, Power Point, and Lightroom 5.0 which I just got in December. Right now, I just am downloading the Cloud, and it says that Lightroom is downloading. I hope that it will be on my computer and all good but Im really not sure if I'm doing the right thing. I tried calling customer service TWICE yesterday, got put on hold both times, once for 25 minutes the other for 32 minutes. I was dumb. BUT if you are able to help me get Lightroom back on to my computer that would be wonderful. If I am already on the right path and just have to wait for it to finish downloading that woohoo!!

My windows 7 vaio just stopped opening itunes and i cant get it to open
my computer just stopped opening itunes out of the blue, and i have not been able to get it to run since then, and i re installed it and ran all the checks and solutions on my computer and nothing is working.

iPhoto just stopped working. It loads pictures, but then goes into rainbow wheel forever. Then I try to force quit it, and then the whole Mac hangs up (had to power cycle it to get it back). I am using OS 10.5.8, and when I run software update, it assures me I have up to date software. I have not added any photos since the last time I used it, probably less than a month ago. What gives?
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption. -
Hi hope somebody can help? i have acrobat 6 pro, worked well for last two years but then just stopped working. Have reinstalled but still will not open, ronning windows 7. Help please!! Janice

Adobe no longer supports the installation and use of Acrobat 6 as it is a very old version which is not compatible with Windows 7.
I would suggest you to please use the latest version of Acrobat i.e. 11.0.10 which is fully compatible with your OS with its enhanced features and functions.

My iPhone 4S is only playing part of a song and then stops, sometimes plays whole song but for the most part it just stops randomly
Now it's Wednesday (2 days since I originally posted) & my iPhone appears to have finally restored all my apps, but it still says it's restoring from iCloud backup. If all my apps are restored, what else could it be restoring? IS it actually restoring anything at this point, or is it still in 'glitch' mode??? I've tried turning it off & back on & it continues to say that it's restoring.

Whenever I try to upload photos into iPhoto, they load but when importing it just stops a picture or two into it and then just sits there. I can't stop the import so I have to shut off my camera when it is importing and start again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Tru importing from your camera to it and to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

I have iTunes 11 on a Windows 8.1 PC. It is streaming to a 3rd Gen Apple TV. Movies and TV Shows seem to play fine. Music will stream for about 10 - 16 songs, then just stop. I have to reset everything, then it will repeat the cycle. This happens regardless of wire or wireless connection. I would suspect that there is something wrong with the network, or Apple TV, except that movies and TV Shows seem to be fine. My music library is about 3700 songs, all legit, either imported from source or puchased through iTunes. This one has me stumped and frustrated!
I thought that may have been the case too. I set the power settings to compensate but still the same. I also done things like reset the router and Apple TV to factory. Starting to think it may actually be the Apple TV, but it just doesn't make sense ?!?

My iPhone 5 suddenly stopped opening the Apple Mail app. It had worked flawlessly for years, but just stopped. It worked on my iPad, and of course on the computer. What's going on, and how do I fix it? I've turned the phone on and off several times, soft reset several times. There was no change in any settings when this happened, nor any new apps were added. Thank you for any help you can give.
Does it not work either way? Sending and receiving? Did you check the settings and make sure that nothing has changed? If you can receive email, but not send it, check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional. -
I have been using GRAB to capture screen displays. It has just stopped working since the last OSX Upgrade. Can anyone, please help restore functionality?

I have full membership to CC and have been using it for 4 months. Randomly Photoshop stopped opening jpgs, so I uninstalled and re-installed. Photoshop then stopped working all together. I signed out of the app manager and when I signed back in all my info was gone and only "TRIAL VERSIONS" of CC apps were available. I paid for this software. I need to be able to download it again.

Your statement doesn't make sense to me.... But it could just be me not understanding what you mean. Let me explain how the side switch and the control center work for screen rotation lock and system sounds.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

I have purchased two audiobooks from iTunes. They play perfectly for about 13 minutes and then abruptly stop. I have purchased other audiobooks and have not had a problem. Please, any ideas on why this is happening and what can I do to fix it. Thanks!
As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.
