and is working OK. However the Store hasn't updated since episode 6; when subscribing, episodes 7 and 8 do show, so the feed is OK. Normally it takes a couple of days or so for new episodes to show in the Store, but sometimes it 'sticks' and doesn't update for some time. I'm afraid you've got caught by this and there isn't really anything you can do about it except wait for it to sort itself out. -

I can't see a nikon d800 camera profile in adobe camera raw 8.2
When I open a NEF file from D800, I can see in upper left corner "Camera Raw 8.2 - Nikon D800", but when I open "camera calibration" and click "camera profile", I can only see "Adobe standard, camera landscape, camera neutral, camera vivid" etc., but there is no "Nikon d800 profie
I copied .dpx files with that profile to: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles ,but nothing happened.
Strange thing is that when I open a NEF file from old Nikon D80, in "camera profile" appears: "camera D2X mode1", "camera D2X mode2", "camera D2X mode3". Any ideas?The profiles that you see listed are the profiles for the camera that took the photo. You will not see the camera model listed. Those are the profiles Adobe created for the camera that took the image. You cannot change profiles to those of a different camera.
Apparently older Nikon cameras had the profiles you see listed for your D80. I have those same profiles of as part of my D90 choices. But, again apparently, those profiles are not part of newer cameras. I wouldn't know, because I'm still using a D90. -

Not sure if you are referring to photos in the Camera Roll from before you turned Photo Stream on, but just in case you aren't aware, only new photos will go. Following quote is from: iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ

iOS devices: New photos that you take automatically upload to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and connect to Wi-Fi. My Photo Stream doesn't push photos over cellular connections. -
My photos are not showing up as layers in the layers panel, only as one layer, so I am not able to make changes to the layers. Does anyone know why this is happening? Am I downloading them from my camera wrong? I have watched the video and the photos don't open that way on my layers panel. Any help would be appreciated, I would like to edit out the background and turn it a different color.

Photos from cameras or scans have only one layer (the 'background' layer).
You can start with that 'background' layer and duplicate it or add other layers in the editing process. For instance you can make a selection of a subject and put it on another layer; a common use is to desaturate the 'background' and to keep the color in the selected subject in your newly created layer. -
my pc crashed and i lost all my pictures and music that was stored on the pc. now i have a new pc and when i log into itunes all my music and photos are not available. I guess i dont understand the pupose of itunes and its worth. I thought it backed up all my photos and music, but apparently not. So what do I use so that when i lose data on my pc i can retrieve it again at a later date or after a crash?/
Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync. -
I have iBooks 2.1 on ipad. I changed my password and can no longer update the app. If I delete the app and install the updated version, will I lose the books I have purchased?
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app) -

Try updating to iPhoto 9.4.1. If it's not appearing in your Software Update yet, try updating using a .dmg installer downloaded from the following page on the Apple website:

Is there a way to not have photo stream photos save to my iphone? i have many shared photo streams hoping to not bog down my iphone space. but alas the photos are are being saved on my iphone.

I have a MacBook and I am unable to successfully update Firefox. I click "Update Firefox" and it's starts updating but never completes the process. The songs on my Ipod Classic wont play at all although you can feel and hear the machinery working hard. The tracks are not playng at all but you can see the Ipod rewinding them all and returning to the album. And this happens to the second IPOD I just got!
First off, I would STRONGLY suggest that a external hard drive would make you life much easier by at least being able to back up your songs on the external drive for when you need them. Even if you don't want them in the iTunes library, you can have them all ready on the external to be re-added as needed. You can get 100's of gigs for under $100 shipped.
Anyway, since you used Yamipod, are all the songs back on the computer? If so, I would go ahead and restore the iPod, let iTunes then resync everything back to the iPod, then switch it back to manual and see if the restore and resync clears up the issue.

It's not a separate program, it's automatically installed alongside the other CC apps which need it (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc).

Run the cleaner, reinstall.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
And don't bother with running any updates unless you really need them or they fix a critical issue relevant to your workflow.
