Hi Swetha,
You will have to manually make the table adjustments in all the systems using SE14 trans since the changes done using SE14 cannot be collected in any TR.
How to adjust tables :
Enter the table name in SE14. For ex for any Z master data(Say ZABCD), master data table name would be /BIC/PZABCD, text table would be /BIC/TZABCD. Similarly any DSO(say ZXYZ) table name would be /BIC/AZXYZ00 etc.
Just enter the table name in SE14 trans --> Edit --> Select the radio button "Save Data" --> Click on Activate & adjust database table.
NOTE : Be very careful in using SE14 trans since there is possibility that the backend table could be deleted.
How to collect the changes in TR:
You can collect only the changes made to the IO --> When you activate, it will ask you for the TR --> Enter the correct package name & create a new TR. If it doesn't prompt you for TR, just goto Extras --> Write transport request from the IO properties Menu screen. Once these IO changes are moved successfully, then the above proceduce can be followed using SE14 trans.

Need help filling this object please!!!

I need to fill shape 1 with a solid color. Shape 2 is what the object looks like when selected. Shape 3 is what happens when I try to fill it with color. I need it to stay within the boundaries shown on shape 1. Please help, I'm relatively new to Illustrator and cannot seem to find out what it is that is happening. I'm working in Illustrator CC.

However I needed to redraw the object, and instead of lines I had to use rounded rectangles to create it.
Can you reuse the outer shape that looks like part of an ellipse?
If you can, you can start by recreating the top one as follows (Smart Guides are your friends):
1) Select and copy the upper/outer elliptic shape to the front (Ctrl+C+F), then lock the original full shape;
2) With the Line Segment Tool ClickDrag between the end Anchor Points of 1) (Smart Guides say anchor when you are there), then drag over the H value in the Transform palette and Ctrl+C to copy it;
3) Click with the Ellipse Tool on the Artboard and insert the value divided by 2 for W and H, then cut it at the top and bottom Anchor Point, then delete the right half;
4) Move the half circle on top of the lower left half circle shape as closely as possible, then select both the half circle and the outer ellipse, click the outer ellipse again and in the Align palette click Vertical Align Bottom;
4) Create a copy of the half circle and move it up by its height, then ShiftDrag it to fit the upper right half circle shape as closely as possible;
Now you should have the curved parts in place, and you only need the straight parts;
5) With the Direct Selection Tool Click each pair of Anchor Points to be connected by straight segments and Ctrl+J to join them;
Now you should have one clean path to fill. After that, you can rotate and move a copy.

I need to display text only portal pages. Some of the more
detailed concerns at this point are below. Also, I've had an open
tar on Metalink for about two weeks, and after research from
their end has resulted in no help.
THE ISSUES (so far):

If an anchor [A HREF=...] tag uses an image as it's "text", I
need to strip out the ALT= text to show inside the anchor. If no
ALT text is available, then I would like to show the image name
as a default.

How do I get the resulting page from a form (which include the
login inputs and submit button, search box, advanced search page,
etc.) to be displayed by the text only page?

I've written a socket/text scraper in Perl, running it from a web
server. The problems mentioned above are really causing problems,
plus the whole cookie thing. Since Oracle Portal tries to push a
cookie to the client, when the client is another UNIX server,
the cookie thing doesn't work.

Use Find/Change and the GREP tab.
Search for .+ and set the Find formatting to find the charcteristics you want.
What will you do with this text once found? You'll need something to "change" to, either new text or Change Formatting options...

check the triggering point of your user exit.
make sure to use a exit/BADI which triggers right after you press 'SAVE'

I need help with a Object Array

I am having trouble and this maybe really simple seeing that I am fairly new to java but I have text that is being broken down in to preset part with those parts stored in Object arrays.
Now I also have a object array inside my object array. Within the second object array are the broken down parts of the text and I want to compare this text with another string so for example this is what I am trying

Need help with text() processing in XSL

I have an xml that contains such text in my xml:

and an xsl that transforms it to HTML (a cut for xsl):

but I need: before inside after
It seems it happens 'cause of this: http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#conflict
but I cannot find a way to solve this problem :(
I had tried to use priority in xsl:template, but it didn't help :(

That's not a real xml and xsl, but they might describe the idea and problem. I hope I miss nothing.

Need help regarding Value Object Concept in flex/java

I need to map the java objects to flex use value objects in flex.
The problem is I have a class in java which is referring to another class and again that class referring another class.
For instance

Now I need to map class A to the flex using value object concept and I have to display the user info in the grid as well.

I ma new in jdeveloper, what I am doing is an application that does not have visual interface. I created business objects for my tables, then I generated the java classes.
In a function in my class I created and instance of mytableImpl.java (generated from the busines object mytable.xml), added all the data to it and called doDMLrow(DML_INSERT), doDMLrow is a public function that I created inside mytableImpl.java in order to access the private method doDML. I need to make sure that every record that I insert , delete or update is committed immediately.
ALso I need to know if there is a guide, example , or documentation that shows how to use this properly.

you can't just instantiate a entity object (EO), mytableImpl in your case.
EO should only be used together with the whole framework. So you need an application module, a view object (VO) build from the EO. Then your use case can is pretty simple. You don't have to overwrite any of the generated methods.
To insert a row into the DB use the VO and create a new row, fill the attributes, insert the row and call commit. If you have more rows to insert (i.e. read the data from a file) you should write a service method at the application module level and let this method do all the work (read the data from file and insert the new rows onto the db, calling commit after each record).
To call this service method you can use the BC4J tester right inside from JDeveloper.
All this is documented in the 'Fusion Developer's Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework'

Need help formatting text field default value

Hello,
I've received a customer request to put default text into the Value section of a text field. They're requesting that the default text include line breaks, bullets, etc. I added a Text Field object and added the default text to the Object tab > Value tab Default field but can't figure out how to add line breaks, etc.

Hi,
this is possible but not doable with the UI of Designer.
The workaround is as follows:
1. Create a text, enter your default text with all the formattings you need (text color, bold text, line breaks etc.)
2. Create a text field and enter any word as default value. Let's say "Default".
3. Select the text and the switch to the XML Source view.
There you will find all the formatted text between the <value> tags such as:

 <exData contentType="text/html">
 <body xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/">This is default Text • with RichText formatting.</body>
 </exData>
</value>
4. Select the whole code between the <value> tags and copy it to the clipboard (ctrl + c).
5. Go to the Design View, select the text field, go back to the XML Source view.
6. There you'll also find the value <tags> and your default value you entered before.

 <text>Default</text>
</value>
7. Select this code section and paste the value copied before to the clipboard by pressing ctrl + v.
8. That's it. When you now go back to the Design View your text field shows a formatted RichText as defaul text.
