    I couldn't solve one issue regarding the planning calender
    Our company has a three day delivery period from the customer order date unitll the requested due delivery date
    tha Factory calender has 5 days from Monday untill Friday as working days
    with shifts from 00:00:00 to 03:00:00 & 03:00:00 to 24:00:00
    and the shipping calender has 7 days with the time frame 00:00:00 to 03:00:00
    When a sales orders are created for the saturday,sunday and monday
    the purchase requisition for sunday and monday are pushed to tuesdays and the purchase requisition for saturday order is on the same day itself
    I have to set the calenders in such a way that for saturday sunday I should be getting Prqs on Friday and planned orders on monday and friday as there is no production on saturday and sunday
    I have tried various ways by extending the shipping calender on friday till 24:00:00
    but I'm not getting the required output
    Could you guide me thru the checks to be performed to solve this issue

    The whole process is a three day process
    When a customer orders the product it will be shipped in three days
    Let's say a customer orders on monday 06/18 with a due delivery date on
    next week thursday 06/28 then the planned order will be created on tuesday 06/26 and the  purchase Requisition on wednesday 06/27 and the wave pick will be on Tuesday 06/26 and the product is shipped to customer on thursday
    Accordingly the configuration was made with shipping calender from 0:00 to 3:00
    on 5 days from monday till friday(the order which comes under 3 am window will be delivered acc to the scenario explained above)
    and the production calender in shifts from 0:00 to 3:00 am and 3:10 to 0:24 hrs
    But for the sunday and monday (delivery due dates) the orders purchase reks are being pushed to monday and tuesday , instead of behind promised on friday(before week), as there's no production on sunday and saturday and the Purchase reks and pld order should be created on friday itself (that's how the configuration is)
    So I changed the shipping calender periods into shifts on friday (0:00 to 3:00, 3.00 to 24:00) even then there is no change in the pushed orders to monday
    I only have this problem for sunday and monday orders
    I'm not sure about how the purchase requisitions are created? Could you tell me how to check that? and what else I have to check for this probelm

    I ordered the laptop a week ago and it says it won't ship for another month. I got the laptop to replace it and I expected shipping to take a week or so, not a month. What gives?

    I am wondering that myself.  My brother and I put together some cash to order a z510 (no customizations) on  the sixth of November through the website and the estimated ship date got pushed to the 29th with delivery on december 6th.  The original estimate was the 20th I believe.  I was hoping to get it before thanksgiving but that looks like a pipe dream now.  This is supposed to be a Christmas present for my mother so this long wait isn't a deal breaker yet but if it gets delayed again, we'll just have to cancel.

    How to fetch the VAT registration number of the ship to party from the billing document.  Can you proide some information for fetching the VAT registration number of the ship to party.
    Normally only the payer VAT registration number will be displayed in the Invoice.  But in my case the Ship to party VAT number is displayed. 
    I have resolved this problem by doing the customizing setting in order to have the payer vat registration number.  But for the Old Billing documents it is more than 30,000 documents where it was printed with the ship to party VAT number.  So i need to identify those documents.
    Can you please help to resolve this problem.

    Hi,
    To get VAT from the ship to from Billing, You have to first fetch the BILLING NUMBER from the VBRK and then goto the Document flow in VBFA to get the SALES DOCUMENT NUMBER and with sales document you will get the SHIP TO number from the VBPA with the PARVW = SH
    Once you got the SHIP TO , then goto the KNA1 and get the VAT ID in the field STCEG
    so the logic will be as follows
    VBRK---VBELN and then
    VBFA--VBELN with the document Category as C
    VBPA-VBELN and get the  KUNNR with PARVW =SH
    Now with KUNNR ( ship to ) get the VAT ID from KNA1-STCEG

    Call up apple care,  (08000480408 if you are in the UK) and ask them to change the postcode and request another replacement packet

    The column what you specified INV1.TRNSCODE is to know how the shipping was done. My question, Is there any field to specify the material was shipped or not?

    The requirement is that there has to be a shipping address specified for each Account that is being created.
    I tried to set the 'shipping' address field to 'required' in Account field setup, but the required checkbox is disabled, neither can I do it from Account Page layouts since there also its the same case.
    Does anyone know if its possible to do this and how?

    Have you tried to add validation to the AccountName field
    [<PrimaryShipToStreetAddress>] IS NOT NULL - will test to see if there is a value in the Shipping Address 1 field

  • Apple appt. tomorrow.. What do I do if they try to void my AppleCare bc of 3rd-party upgrades?

    So I'm a bit nervous.. Recently I started experiencing some really weird problems with the display on my Late 2011 MacBook Pro (8,2) .. I have a 3-year AppleCare warranty that I purchased when I got the MacBook Pro, which still provides me coverage for another 6 months or so..
    I've got an appt. at the Apple Store tomorrow, since I've already went through the whole troubleshooting process on the phone with one of the Geniuses.. and did pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find on the internet.. The problem I'm experiencing seems to be VERY common among the 2011 MacBook Pro's.. Here's an article addressing that very issue (widespread GPU failures due to improper soldering):

    It appears that this issue is something that was caused on the manufacturer's end entirely..
    As far as the upgrades I did aftermarket:
    -upgraded to 16gb RAM
    -replaced factory harddrive with SSD
    -removed SuperDrive and replaced with OWC Data Doubler + 2nd SSD
    I'm fairly tech-savvy and have been building desktops for over 10 years now.. I know all the proper precautions to take when uncovering the insides of a computer and how to properly install/change out components..

    I'm a little bit nervous because I know my rights, I know what I'm doing when it comes to computer hardware maintenance/replacement, and I have a 3-year AppleCare plan that is still valid.. but I have a feeling that they're going to try to get slimy with me and say that my upgrades voided the warranty, or that my negligence caused this problem (which would be BS).. There's also tons of documentation online about people who are experiencing the *EXACT* same problem, with images that match what I'm experiencing, for a huge number of 2011 MacBook Pro users..
    I really, really don't feel like having to open up my machine again and uninstall all of my upgrades (memory RAM, SSD, and Data Doubler + SSD) to make it "appear" that I didn't do anything and that the computer's insides are still "untouched" by me.. Even to this extent, I feel that it would be hard for them not to realize that the original components were removed and replaced by 3rd party components (and then re-replaced again before my visit)..
    I'd really just like to leave everything in there and have them replace the faulty logic board (which seems to be the solution on the internet).. but I'd like to anticipate any potential questions or conflicts or answers that I should have prepared for tomorrow, if they try to weasel their way out of covering this manufacturer defect by saying that my warranty is "voided"..
    Has anyone been in this situation where they had a known, manufacturer's defect problem arise, where still covered under AppleCare protection, but had done 3rd party upgrades to things like the RAM/HDD?
    The nearest Apple Store is 1hr45min away from me! (*****) so I'd really like to have my game-plan set ahead of time with what kind of reaction I should be getting when I go in there bc of a manufacturer's defect, but then they see that I've done 3rd party upgrades? (which should be okay w/that law in place.. *see OWC link I posted*)
    Can anybody help me out with what to expect or how I should approach everything tomorrow?

    We are not lawyers. We cannot even tell you what might happen tomorrow. But, if Apple refuses to provide support because you have violated the legal status of the warranty, then you have little recourse but to call an attorney.
    You cannot rely on anything you were told by OWC or believe you were told or believe you know. Needless to say no one on these forums can give you reliable information on what Apple will do nor advise you on what to do.

  • How is it impossible to change the shipping method when Verizon Wireless is the one who screwed up?

    Verizon Wireless doesn't have an email address because they know they'd get inundated with their many dissatisfied customers. I used to say "I love Verizon Wireless!!" now when people ask why I'm still with Verizon I say, "Better the devil I know than the devil I don't." And that's what almost everyone I know says!!! Why are we paying for terrible customer service and terrible policies!!! Don't they get enough money from us without having to treat us like garbage?!?!?!
    Anyway, this is a bit of a rant, and I just hope someone sees it who can try to effect some change, although I doubt that's possible.
    I know this is probably not the best way to resolve my issue, but I've been on the phone with customer service for over an hour, and I don't have time to go through the proper channels to leave feedback that I'm not sure even gets reviewed.
    I ordered a new iPhone 5c on March 31st, through a promotion where I got the 32GB for free. Wonderful promotion, I was very excited, it worked out very well for me. I entered my credit card information to pay the $30 upgrade fee, which, quite frankly, should be illegal, and Verizon Wireless should be ashamed of themselves for charging customers to continue being customers. But that's a battle for another day.
    The iPhone 5c was on back order and was guaranteed shipped by April 18th. I'm a tax accountant, so it works out well that I was super busy and not staring at the mailbox during those 18 days. But every now and then I checked my order status and it was never updated with FedEx. So I was a little concerned. On Friday, April 18th at 6.06 EST, I called in and spoke with a woman who assured me nothing was wrong with my order, and by the time the weekend was over, I should have an updated status. I asked her to review it carefully because I was concerned that I hadn't received any kind of update. She said there was nothing in there to delay my order.
    Cut to Tuesday, April 22. I was perturbed, but not alarmed that I didn't have my new phone. Until my mother reminded me that she was getting my old phone, and her grace period ends on Friday, when she needs to either reconnect a phone, or start paying for service again, with or without the phone. So I called Verizon to find out what was going on.
    The $30 charge didn't go through, so they never sent my device out. There is no reason the charge didn't go through, I have confirmation that I entered my card information correctly, there was over $2,000 in that account. So nothing on my side was amiss. Nobody at customer service can figure out why the payment didn't process. And nobody has the authority to expedite the shipping of my new phone. Ashley had me on hold for over 10 minutes while she conferred with a supervisor. Then she hung up on me. An accident, I know, but she didn't try to call me back, or text me to give me a callback number (which I've been told is an option).
    So I had to call back in and explain this all over again to a new representative who was unable to transfer me to Ashley. And Ashley didn't put her correct inner email on my call record, so the new rep couldn't contact her. The new rep said all she could do was take the $30 payment, and then send my phone out. I was understandably upset at how I'd been hung up on, and previously lied to by the rep on Friday the 18th. But the rep insisted there was nothing she could do to expedite the shipping of my phone. I asked to speak to a supervisor, waited almost 20 minutes, which I understand.
    The supervisor gets on the phone, and insists there's nothing she can do to expedite the shipping of my phone. Even after I explained the whole story, she still couldn't do anything. Because I chose normal shipping when I ordered the phone, they couldn't change it to overnight shipping now without cancelling the order. But if they cancelled the order, then I wouldn't be eligible for the promotional price, since that promotion had ended. I find it hard to believe 1) that there is **nobody** at Verizon Wireless customer service who can contact the warehouse and ask them to overnight a shipment and 2) that there is **nobody** at Verizon Wireless who could cancel my original order, create a new order with overnight shipment, and then waive the price of the phone to be in line with the promotion/sale.
    I find it equally impossible to believe that in special circumstances, you can't forward the stock request to a store near me so I can pick up in person.
    And then, to make matters even more fun, the supervisor I was on the phone with told me I had to order asap, because the shipping cutoff had passed 15 minutes before, and there wasn't even a guarantee that my phone would be shipped out at the end of the day. So instead of getting my phone a week later than I should have, I'd be getting it over a week later than I should have. To further compound my anger and frustration, when I called Verizon on March 31st to ask a question about my update, I sat on hold for a few minutes and was transferred and then hung up on. So I was hung up on twice by customer service, and that still didn't get me what I wanted.
    Now, I know these are first world problems. But if consumers keep letting themselves get pushed around by the big monopolies who don't care about my $75 a month, then it will just get worse.
    Ask yourself: Would you stay with a company who treated you the way I was treated above?

    I think most Verizon customers feel the same way:/  I was chatting with Verizon for over 2 hours and they still wouldn't help me.  Verizon Wireless and their customer service is TERRIBLE!!  I do not know why they still have customers.  I upgraded to the iPhone 5S end of December 2013.  I spent over $250 for the brand new iPhone 5S and only had it for 3 mos before I started having problems with it.  It is now June and am on my 3rd iPhone 5s.  This 3rd phone is having issues already, which will make it the 4th phone since I upgraded and the 3rd replacement refurbished phone they sent me.  I called today asking for a new phone.  I do not want any part of the iPhones anymore with as many problems as I have had.  I spoke to 3 different representatives, and none of them would help me.  I still have a year and a half at least left on my contract, so they are going to let me go through god knows how many more iPhones before my contract ends. They basically stated that if I wanted a different phone I have to pay full retail price for a new phone or else be stuck with replacement iPhone 5S' for the next year and a half.  Verizon is worthless!!  I'm thinking I'm going to switch carriers.  I spent so much money on a brand new phone when I upgraded and only had the new phone for 3 mos....that's just ridiculous and unfair and Verizon won't replace it with another brand new phone. I am stuck with refurbished iPhone 5S'.

    I followd the online instructions to cheange the shipping address but they tell you to click on"account info  button" which i cannot find!
    There is any option to buy the calender as a gift and send it somewhere else in the world??? It seems to be very complicated to an apple product..... any suggestion??

    Sending a calendar to another country is not supported in many jurisdictions - as it can lead to extra charges for the receiver. As I have no idea what country you are in you can select your country from this list

  • Return to Vendor with Shipping - Help with the credit memo

    Hey guys,
    I've configured return deliveries to vendors, using a return PO with shipping, then creating an RL delivery type > transfer order> post goods issue.
    All that works fine. My trouble is trying to set up the credit memo. I'm not an SD consultant so I don't know too much about billing.
    I go to VF01 to create the billing document, however I receive an error that the delivery type (RL) is not allowed for billing type F2. I know where the config is to set up this relationship (SD>Billing>Maintain Copying Control for Billing Documents), but I would have thought a different billing type (something for credit memos) would be used instead of F2.
    In standard sales, the billing type is determined from the sales order type. As there is no sales order in this instance, where is the billing type being determined? Why is SAP trying to create my billing document with and F2 billing type.

    Sorry, this is not clear to me.
    If you send back goods to your vendor - generally - you send back the goods because those goods are damged. In this case it is your vendor who issues credit memo and not you to your vendor.
    MM credit memo (that is issued by your vendor) can be posted in MIRO. If your vendor issues debit memo it can be posted in MIRO too.

    Maybe this is relevant: I bought iphoto from the German apple store but I now live in Italy. I have tried German credit card with German invoicing address and Italian shipping address. And I have tried Italian credit card with Italian invoicing address and Italian shipping address. The phenomenon is the same: shipping address appears in red and I am asked to fill in the mandatory fields (which turn red whatever I enter).

    what is the setting for the Print Products Store in the Advanced Tab of the iPhoto Preferences?
    The country you select there has to match the billing address. And your billing address should match the country of your AppleID and credit card used with the AppleID.
