Thanks for the info. I went here earlier, and it didn't help. It seems that the Firefox profile I am using is only the one created today when I reconnected with the browser, and no old one seems available. It's history in all the compartments I go to are all today.

i wanna know if my warranty covers it
No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that develop after purchase. Your dogs' mauling is neither of those.
if it doesnt how much it will cost
A Google search for "ipod touch 2g parts" returned this. There are others you can find yourself.

Could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

  • How can I get my old bookmarks back after I downloaded a fresh copy of Firefox?

While I was at work, my wife downloaded what she thought was an update to our current Firefox App. Turns out it was a "fresh version." How can I get my history and bookmarks back? Do I still have the old version (the most recent version before the download of the Fresh Version) on my computer somewhere?

Hi, please have a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data this article] which should help you to restore your bookmarks etc.

  • How can I get my old bookmarks back?

I tried copying and pasting the places.sqlite from my old harddrive onto my new one but it didn't do anything. Is there any way to get my bookmarks onto my new computer?

Are you copying the places.sqlite file into your active profile folder? You can open your active profile folder this way:
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Open Containing Folder" button
Close Firefox before copying the file in so it isn't overwritten when Firefox closes.
Your '''old''' profile folder also should contain a folder named bookmarkbackups. You can restore a JSON file from that folder. See this article for more information: [http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing-up-restoring-bookmarks Backing up and restoring bookmarks | How to | Firefox Help].

  • How do you get your old bookmarks back that is gone from firefox upgrade?

Firefox really screwed up with the bookmarks with the new browser. I found another work around besides the other post. You may need the older browser so go to the other link and install the older browser after you uninstalled the new browser. Right now I am using Palemoon browser to post this which is a true 64bit browser and looks like a clone of Firefox. Really impressed with Palemoon so I am going to continue to try it out.
Go here for instructions to restore your old bookmarks. Like I said you may need to reinstall the older Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them?esab=a&s=restore+bookmark+from+backup&r=0&as=s#w_restoring-from-backups
If your bookmarks are on another PC computer go where Firefox keeps a backup of your bookmarks in your pc. In Windows 8 it is located in
    C:\Users\lion\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5eczdook.default\bookmarkbackups
In Windows 7 and XP it is located somewhere in the AppData. Just browse to the AppData folder and find your way to Mozilla
In the Mac it is similar but in the Library I believe. With a Mac just use common sense and Linux basics.
Once you located the bookmarks, look for the file with the date you want. Copy that sucker and paste it in the proper folder on the other computer where you want your bookmarks restored. Then run the Restore and mentioned above.
    Your done!
If you want to check out Palemoon goto http://www.palemoon.org/ ...Palemoon defaults with Duckandgo search engine which is an up and coming search engine that doesn't track you and provides listing that focuses on keywords. I am liking it also.

    Hi gman411,

  • Is there a way to get the old functionality back to contextual menus?

hi there, since my first post seems to be deleted, i try again.
in systems prior to 10.5, i could access a custom contextual item (including automator workflows) in the finder with a simple ctrl-click on a file and then select the item in in the pop-up menu.
now in 10.5 i ctrl-click on a file, then in the pop-up i have tio select "more" and then select the item i want.
this is very annoying if you use these items a lot.
is there a way around this ?

Non-Finder contextual menu's are in "More" for a reason. Go to any one of the Mac help sites/forums (including this one) and you'll see TONS of posts about the Finder SPOD'ing when the user control-clicks somewhere. The culprit is ALWAYS a poorly written third party contextual menu that the user has added to their system (often without their knowledge as a side effect of some app they installed). To alleviate this problem, Apple moved all non-Finder contextual menu's to "More".
While its not the best solution for those who use third party contextual menus all the time (the minority of users), it is the best solution for the majority of users who rarely use third party contextual menus.

  • My previous computer with XP crashed. The new computer is running Windows7 and has a new C: drive. When I installed Firefox on the new C:, I didn't get the old book marks with the install. Where do I find my old bookmarks? Thank you.

My previous computer with XP crashed. The new computer is Running Windows 7. The two old drives, previously C: (now E:) and G: (now D:) are installed in the new computer. Firefox was installed in the old C: drive (now E:). How do I get the bookmarks from the old C: drive (now E:) to work the the new installation of Firefox on the new computer C: drive?

  • Computer crashed but now restored. how do i get my old bookmarks back

running windows 7 with the new firefox
computer was restored to windows 7 after it stopped working. still has the same drive and i still have all of my old files in the "windows.old" folder.
how do i restore my bookmarks that i had from before the crash?

Your bookmarks (and history) are in a database file named places.sqlite in your old Firefox profile folder. If you restore that folder to the expected location, you should pick up where you left off (which is good if Firefox was working well at the time).
This article should help: [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Recovering+important+data+from+an+old+profile Recovering important data from an old profile].

  • My computer crashed and was restored and now I can't get my ITunes play lists and other things restored.  I just up loaded the new software to my IPad and it is like I am starting over!  How do I get the my library back?

I need help retrieving my ITunes the way it was before my computer was restored and upgraded.

This is why it has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Certainly you did nhot restore your computer without making sure your backup copy was up to date.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.

  • I had to restore my computer to its original settings after a crash. I backed up my files before hand so I didn't lose data in memory. When I ran Firefox from it, my bookmarks are gone. How can I get them back if I can?

My computer had trouble starting for a long time. Taking it to the shop didn't help. Today it just wouldn't start at all. In a desperation move I restored it to its original settings as if I just bought it. I chose the backup files version so that I didn't lose any data in memory, though I do have to restore some settings. When I ran Firefox all my bookmarks are gone. Everything is in the My Backup folder. How can I get my bookmarks back if I can?

As always, iphone will sync with one comptuer at a time.  Syncing to another will erase the current content.
The backup that itunes performs does not include any itunes content.  You should keep everything on your computer and should always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
You can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:
