Hide Button or region on page load

Hi,
I have a page with button. my request is to check an attribute from VO if its value e.g. N the button will be hidden, otherwise it will be displayed .

Hi Meedoo ,
In Controller PR , get VO , VORowImpl and get the Attribute value
VORowImpl  row = (VORowImpl)VO.getCurrentRow();// or VO.first();
row.getAttribute();//The Attribute you want to get
if("N".equals(row.getAttribute())){
OAButtonBean button =(OAButtonBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("Id of Button");
     button.setRendered(Boolean.FALSE);
sometimes
OAButtonBean button =(OAButtonBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("Id of Button"); might throw null pointer exception , if you encounter that use the below code
OAPageLayoutBean pageBean =(OAPageLayoutBean)pageContext.getPageLayoutBean();
OAButtonBean buttonBean =(OAButtonBean)pageBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("Id of Button");
buttonBean.setRendered(Boolean.FALSE);
Thanks
Sasikasyap .

    Skud,
    you can create condition in report region query e.g. where 1 = :PXX_ITEM, and populate that item on click and then refresh report.

  • How to hide business process stage on page load in crm 2013

    Please tell me how to hide process stage on page load in crm 2013.
    for example: Develop, Propose,Quotation... these are business process stages and I have a custom field named "type"
    If type value =1 then hide Propose stage

    Hello,
    That is not possible. What I would suggest is to create several processes for same entity and switch between them using plugin. Sample code for it -

  • ADF Regions - Embedding region pagedef & Page load

    Hi,
    I'm working with regions in JDev 10.1.3.2. The problem I'm having is this: I have a page that uses a region with its own pagedef. So, I added a <page> element in the parent page's pagedef referencing the pagedef of the region and set the 'value' attribute in the <af:region> tag to the page element in the binding container.
    So far so good, the inclusion of the pagedef works fine. The thing is that the region has some "On page load" behavior, implemented following one of Steve Muench's not yet documented apps. In the pagedef of the region I specify the 'ControllerClass' attribute to a backing bean with an EL. If I run the page every thing is rendered but an error appears saying "Missing class #{...}" and therefore the onPageLoad behavior is not executed. If I specify the ControllerClass with the fully qualified name of the class a "ClassCastException" is thrown.
    If I run the page as a stand-alone jsp it works fine, the problem must have something to do with the whole pagedef embedding business...
    Any help or insight is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Yoel

    Third repost.
    I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm being completely and utterly ignored. Either I didn't explain the problem well or the problem isn't solvable. I just want anyone, and I mean anyone at all to tell me:
    a) "The problem has no solution, wait for the production release of JDev 11"
    b) "I'm having the same problem"
    c) "We are working on it"
    d) "Please don't ask anything else about regions, we released them without proper testing. So some things are going to work and the others may work or not."

  • Large number of Hide/Show regions on a page, can't hide on page load

    I have a large number of Hide/Show regions on a page, 14 right now to be exact. I want all of these regions to start hidden when the page loads. In order to do this I have the following code in the onload page html body attribute:
    onLoad="document.getElementById('region3').style.display = 'none';
    document.getElementById('shIMG3').src = '/i/htmldb/builder/rollup_plus_dgray.gif'
    document.getElementById('region19').style.display = 'none';
    document.getElementById('shIMG19').src ='/i/htmldb/builder/rollup_plus_dgray.gif'"
    This works fine when I have 13 or fewer hide/show regions on the page. When I add the 14th region to the page, all the regions on the page start off as not hidden.
    Anyone have any idea why this could be happening? (I'm using Apex version 2.0)
    Thanks

    http://apexjscss.blogspot.com

    I created a new button at the bottom of the region in a Hide and Show Region called [Next >]. The button is displayed to the right of the region.I only see it displayed to the right of the region in Firefox (Safari and IE8 showed it above the sub-regions). Not obvious to me why this is the case (it's usually IE that does it's own thing).
    I want it displayed at the right end of the bottom of the region.Button position Bottom of Region causes an anonymous HTML table containing the button(s) to be generated after the <tt>#BODY#</tt> placeholder in the region template. Your Hide/Show region template didn't have a <tt>#SUB_REGIONS#</tt> placeholder so by default the sub-regions were rendered after the <tt>#BODY#</tt> and the "Bottom of Region" button container (don't know if this is the intended behaviour or a bug). Adding <tt>#SUB_REGIONS#</tt> before <tt>#BODY#</tt> in the template gets things in the right order (button after sub-regions):
    <div class="hide-show-region" id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" #REGION_ATTRIBUTES#>
      <div class="hide-show-top">
        <div class="hide-show-title">
    <div class="rounded-corner-region">
    <div class="rc-blue-top">
    <div class="rc-blue-top-r">
              #TITLE#</div>
    </div>
    </div>
           <a style="margin-left:5px;" href="javascript:hideShow('region#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#','shIMG#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#','#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_plus_dgray.gif','#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_minus_dgray.gif');" class="t1HideandShowRegionLink"><img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_plus_dgray.gif"
      id="shIMG#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#" alt="" />Click on arrow to enter/hide  information for signs and/or nameplates</a></div>
        <div class="hide-show-buttons">#CLOSE##PREVIOUS##NEXT##DELETE##EDIT##CHANGE##CREATE##CREATE2##EXPAND##COPY##HELP#</div>
      </div>
      <div class="hide" id="region#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#">
        #SUB_REGIONS#
        #BODY#
      </div>
    </div>Firefox is still showing the button to the right of the sub-regions. I'm assuming that this has something to do with everything in this theme being floated left (for reasons that escape me), so we'll try to clear the button container using CSS. The table doesn't have an ID or class so try an adjacent sibling selector using the ID of the preceding sub-region:
    #nameplates-name+table {
      clear: both;
    }Finally, the button alignment was set to "Left", so I changed it to "Right".
    Seems to be working in IE8 (all I have access to at present).

  • Hide buttons when movie loads and then show

    I have a movie that loads another video. When it goes to
    video by hitting button
    I can hide buttons underneath.
    When I unload the movie, I need the buttons to show up again
    and clickable.
    I added the onEnterFrame, but makes no difference.
    Can someone help as to how I can bring the buttons back when
    movie that was loaded is unloaded?
    Thank you in advance.

    > onEnterFrame(_root.VideoBtn.enabled._visible = true);
    Where did you find that syntax? It's incorrect, check the
    docs..
    However, I don't why you would do that, all that will do is
    make sure it's never invisible.
    To make the visible again, you do the same thing you did to
    make them invisible -- you set the _visible property to true,
    wherever you are unloading the movie.

  • Disable/hide navigation Back button in particular overview page

    Hi All,
    I have to disable/hide navigational 'Back' button on Task overview page. I tried to achive this in WD_HISTORY mehtod but no luck.
    Please suggest me how to do this.
    Thanks,

    Hi Laxmana,
    I did the same thing as you suggested, by commenting the super class method we can just stop to go to previous page but not all the pages which are stored in back button history.
    My actual requirement is, back button should not be visible to user or should not function anything. User should not use back button to navigate away. user must use 'save and back' or 'save' buttons.
    Thanks,
    Nanaji

  • MSCA/MWA Hide a button in a extended page

    Hi,
    I have a custom MSCA page XXDeliveryLinePage which extends the source DeliveryLinePage, and there is a cancel button (mCancelBtn) in the source page. Does anyone knows how can I hide the cancel button from the XXDeliveryLinePage page?
    I don't want to directly modified the DeliveryLinePage.
    I tried the following logic but it thoughts error, when I log into the custom page
    mCancelBtn.setHidden(true);
    Regards
    Lawrence

    Hi,
    Either you can go to 'Personalize this page' link and set the rendered property to false from front end.
    Or from custom controller, set the handle to the button in PR method and use mCancelBtn.setRendered(false).

  • Certain sites do not load properly. I have to click the Stop loading page button, the click reload page to fully load the site.

    Using Firefox 6.0.1 on Windows XP SP3. When I navigate to certain sites (nytimes.com for example), Firefox loads most of the page, but some graphics are missing and the green circle in the tab keeps spinning. Typically I have to click the Stop Loading Page button, then click the Reload Page button to get Firefox to load the remaining items in the website. Seems to get stuck with images.

    This type of problem is normally caused by using an incompatible add-on. For details of how to troubleshoot this to find out what one is causing the problem see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
