Hide Button when view loads

I am making a simple iOS game in which there is a main menu which has a play button which takes you to a window that says "Start" to start the game. In the second view there is also a pause button, resume button and main menu button. I only want the pause and start button to apper when the second view loads. This does not mean clicking start and then the buttons disappering.
How do I do this.

You should be able to set it to hidden right away in the onViewDidLoad call for the view.

I have a movie that loads another video. When it goes to

When I unload the movie, I need the buttons to show up again

Where did you find that syntax? It's incorrect, check the
docs..
However, I don't why you would do that, all that will do is
make sure it's never invisible.
To make the visible again, you do the same thing you did to
make them invisible -- you set the _visible property to true,
wherever you are unloading the movie.

How to hide watermark when viewing in acrobat 8 standard

Hi,
2 of my colleagues (also having same versions of acrobat) manage to open a pdf file without the watermark showing.
I have been googling around and found that there is an option to set.
To specify when the watermark appears, select or deselect Show When Printing and Show When Displaying On Screen.
But i couldn't find the option on my PC(windows xp). I would like to know how to hide the watermark when viewing in acrobat 8.?

so in that case, why does my 2 colleagues can view the pdf file with the watermarks hidden. While for me, i can see the watermark when i view the same file?

How to hide buttons when no data found!!

Hi All,
I have created two regions
1. Serach region
2. Results region.
Initally when the page loads by using hidden vaiable i am bale to hide the "results regions" once they clik on that serach button i am displaying the region of results region along with teo more buttons as "export" and "print" buttons.
It is showing fine when data exists under Reulst region.
But when no data is return i am displaying the message as "No data found" but along with this it is displaying "export" and "print" buutons.
This buttons needs to display only when the data exists under Results region.

Bookmark titles have weird characters or just blank as of Fox5 when viewing (loaded into a fox tab) the exported "bookmarks.html" from the "Libray" (bookmarks manager).

5th gen reboots when viewing photos

Brand new iPod video running software version 1.2.1 will reboot if I press the center button when viewing a photo.
Is this a known bug?

Also reboots when pushing the ">" play button when viewing the photos page or on the "Photo Library" menu.

I Am trying to remove a book from my device and ICloud that I do not want.

The swipe and hide method will only remove it from your Purchases list, not the device, and furthermore, the ability to do that was removed in iOS 6.
To delete the book, go back to the bookshelf in the iBooks app, tap Edit in the upper left, tap the book you want to delete, and tap Delete in the upper right.

Acrobat X: Anyone know if there is an option to hide the dotted line in between pages when viewing in 2 page view? So that the 2 pages can look seemlessly joined, with no gap and no dotted line? This would be useful when viewing PDF magazines or books in which 2 pages join for a larger picture.

Application item values can be set from JavaScript using AJAX and an On-Demand Process.Yes I already tried ajax with ODP, my getappitem() function works but my setappitem() function won't assign value to application item, but it's not a problem now, I removed the ajax part and I will use page items :D

When viewing a spread, how to hide page divider

When viewing a two-page spread, how do you hide the page divider? See attached screen shot.

Have you considered setting your preferences to put the Guides in Back so that objects will obscure the unwanted (but helpful IMO) page

Note: the frame is over the middle of a 2 page spread and has a fill set to [paper]. With the preference disabled (default), the page guide shows through. With it enabled (pictured above), the object fill masks the guide. If the guide truly bothers you, you can set a large frame filled with [paper] swatch across the spread and lock it in positions to prevent edits.
Not ideal to me, but everyone has their own idea of what works for them.

Why do show/hide buttons show when PDF is opened?

I've created an interactive PDF with a series of show/hide buttons with rollover actions. When I export and open the PDF, some of the target buttons show up. If I mouseover, they correct themselves and go to their correct hidden state until I mouseover. Is this a bug and is there any way to keep them hidden from the start? Note that the target buttons overlap some, and I'm wondering if that is part of the problem so I'll test that, although not having them overlap isn't a viable solution.

Thanks for the response. Hidden until triggered was checked. I rebuilt the buttons and they seem to work fine now. It seems like InDesign is very finicky about the order of operations.

Bad navigation bar buttons/links when viewing in browser

i've created my own nav bar, but when i view it online, the buttons/links are out of line
i.e. the page you view has the buttons below or above the horizontal of all the other buttons.
this looks scruffy!
everything is kosher when viewed in iWeb. none of the buttons overlap. i'm using standard web fonts (helvetica, courier).
i'm scratching my head wondering what's gone wrong.

i realised, after posting, that the offending button is the page title button you are on.
e.g. when you're on 'links', the 'links' button is duff.
my solution? well as they're redundant, i took em out.
but any feedback would be helpful.

Menu navigation buttons do not appear when viewing page on iPhone

My webpage shows the menu navigation buttons on all browsers and platforms but when viewing on an iPhone they are not there. Hence you cannot view other pages. Is this a restriction of pages created in iWeb or am I doing something wrong?
I have trawled through the discussion forum and tried tips such as the height of the menu bar from the top on the page, pixel width and making sure the menu box is at the front or brought forward.
