  • In the iDVD window, there is a box in the lower left corner.  When I scroll over it, I get the message to hide or show the intro movie.  Checking or unchecking the box seems to do nothing.  Can anyone explain?

    Working with iDVD on a project, there is a box in the lower left corner and sometimes another in the lower right corner.  Scrolling over the one in the lower left corner, I get a message indicating that this box hides or shows the intro movie.  I have checked and unchecked the box, but see nothing different in the project.  Nor can I figure out what is meant by "intro movie."  Can anyone explain?

    Go to iDVD Help and type in Intro Movie, and you will get the full version of this:
    Many iDVD themes have “motion menus” that include animations or video that loop, or play repeatedly, until the viewer clicks a menu button. Themes with motion menus have a motion icon in the lower-right corner.
    In addition to background video, iDVD motion menus may also feature an intro, or short animation, that plays once before the part that loops. Other motion menus also include an “outro” that plays after the viewer clicks a button, serving as a transition between the menu and the selected content.
    An example of an iDVD 6.0 theme with an intro and an outro is Reflection White Main. In this theme, the first drop zones appear in the intro, and the buttons and title appear just before the looping part of the background video. In the outro, everything flies offscreen after the viewer clicks a button.
    iDVD provides tools for viewing these motion menus without going into preview mode, which is especially helpful when you are filling drop zones, and for turning the intro or outro off.
    Here are ways to view and edit the background movie:
    ◼
    Drag the diamond-shaped motion playhead along the scrubber bar (shown below), to view the background movie, stopping wherever you like.
    (If you don’t see the motion playhead in iDVD, choose View > Show Motion Playhead.)
    ◼
    Deselect the checkboxes at the left and right end of the scrubber bar if you don’t want to use the intro or outro, respectively, in your DVD menu.
    The scrubber bar shows the intro and outro as shaded areas at the beginning and end.
    You can also control the intro and outro from the Menu Info window. With your pointer over the menu (and with no buttons or text objects selected), press Command-I to open that window. Select or deselect the Intro and Outro checkboxes in the Background section of the window.
    NOTE: If you drag your own movie to a motion menu background, the outro is automatically removed. To customize the background and keep the outro, use a still image in the menu background instead of a movie.

  • Hide or show a column based on a parameter?

    I have a parameter that has two values linked to 2 fields and included in my SQL query.  I would like to hide or show columns based on the parameter value chosen for other fields.  How do I begin to write the expression?

    Hi KittyCat101,
    Based on my understanding, you want to display columns dynamically based on a parameter, right?
    In your scenario, you can specify column visibility for all columns based on the expression which contains selected parameter values. So that if we select a value from the drop-down list of the parameter, the column will display based on the column visibility
    expression. For more information, please refer to this article:
    Conditionally Setting Column Visibility in SSRS.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • A thumbnail button option to hide or show thumbnails on slideshows

    A great feature would be the option to hide or show thumbnails when using the full screen slideshow widget, I would suggest an option to turn this feature on in the flyout box so when viewing a full screeen slide show a grid icon appears thats brings up you thumbnails so you can jump to a specific image. Then the option to hide the thumbnials so the viewer can view the images without anything else on the page. A brilliant example of this is a widget by Muse Themes.... Adobe Muse Fullscreen Thumbnail Gallery Widget by MuseThemes this should be standard feature native in Muse. Please!

    So each time a user completes viewing a screen/slide, when they click the next button a user variable, v_lastmod is passed. So if a user views the intro slide and clicked next, v_lastmod=1 is passed to the database. The program actually reloads, so the .NET does a Response.redirect and jumps to the appropriate slide. That might be too much info. But if that user whose lastmod=1 were to review that screen again, I like the next button to appear for the entirety of the slide so they can skip the slide they've already seen.
    We also pass a user variable v_compind=1 if they've completed the whole program.

    http://apexjscss.blogspot.com

    I created a new button at the bottom of the region in a Hide and Show Region called [Next >]. The button is displayed to the right of the region.I only see it displayed to the right of the region in Firefox (Safari and IE8 showed it above the sub-regions). Not obvious to me why this is the case (it's usually IE that does it's own thing).
    I want it displayed at the right end of the bottom of the region.Button position Bottom of Region causes an anonymous HTML table containing the button(s) to be generated after the <tt>#BODY#</tt> placeholder in the region template. Your Hide/Show region template didn't have a <tt>#SUB_REGIONS#</tt> placeholder so by default the sub-regions were rendered after the <tt>#BODY#</tt> and the "Bottom of Region" button container (don't know if this is the intended behaviour or a bug). Adding <tt>#SUB_REGIONS#</tt> before <tt>#BODY#</tt> in the template gets things in the right order (button after sub-regions):
    <div class="hide-show-region" id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" #REGION_ATTRIBUTES#>
      <div class="hide-show-top">
        <div class="hide-show-title">
    <div class="rounded-corner-region">
    <div class="rc-blue-top">
    <div class="rc-blue-top-r">
              #TITLE#</div>
    </div>
    </div>
           <a style="margin-left:5px;" href="javascript:hideShow('region#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#','shIMG#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#','#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_plus_dgray.gif','#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_minus_dgray.gif');" class="t1HideandShowRegionLink"><img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_2/rollup_plus_dgray.gif"
      id="shIMG#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#" alt="" />Click on arrow to enter/hide  information for signs and/or nameplates</a></div>
        <div class="hide-show-buttons">#CLOSE##PREVIOUS##NEXT##DELETE##EDIT##CHANGE##CREATE##CREATE2##EXPAND##COPY##HELP#</div>
      </div>
      <div class="hide" id="region#REGION_SEQUENCE_ID#">
        #SUB_REGIONS#
        #BODY#
      </div>
    </div>Firefox is still showing the button to the right of the sub-regions. I'm assuming that this has something to do with everything in this theme being floated left (for reasons that escape me), so we'll try to clear the button container using CSS. The table doesn't have an ID or class so try an adjacent sibling selector using the ID of the preceding sub-region:
    #nameplates-name+table {
      clear: both;
    }Finally, the button alignment was set to "Left", so I changed it to "Right".
    Seems to be working in IE8 (all I have access to at present).

  • Classic Report with Hide and Show Region Template does not show report

    Hello,
    I created a "No Template" region on a page with a Classic Report. When I change it to a "Hide and Show" region template, the report does not show up when I click to Show the region...is there an additional step i'm missing to make the report show up. Its a very simple query.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Hide and Show Region Problem

    Hi,
    I have created a report with the following attributes:
    Region Definition User Interface - Hide and Show Region;
    Report template -Standard;
    Sort Columns - all checked.
    Report source - SQL Query (PL/SQL Function Body returning SQL query).
    I open a page with this report, click on (+) and show region but when I try to sort records in the column region hides. The same problem I have with some others report templates.
    Report templates Borderless and Horizontal Border do not have this problem.
    I am using Application Express 2.2.1.00.04.
    Could someone explain what it is?
    Thank you in advance.
    Val

    Report template -Standard
    Use a "Standard - PPR" template instead, that works better with a Show/Hide region template because the entire page is not re-rendered when you click on a column header to sort. Only the report region content is refreshed.

  • Missing "Hide Panels/Show Panels" in Windows menu

    Attempting to change a setting in a Spry menu bar, I discovered that I am missing the "Hide Panels/Show Panels" choice in the windows menu, rendering the Spry menu bar contents now unavailable for change. (The "Hide Panels" text now shows up as faint lettering in contrast to all the other choices).
    This function is necessary to make changes in a Spry menu bar. How can I restore this function?

  • Hide and Show

    Hi all,
    In my application i want to hide and show a report. For this i created two buttons in a new region and setting a hidden item value depends on Hide or Show button.But i want to hide the report only not the title so that i can able to place the Hide and Show buttons in the same region.

    Hi,
    There is a "Hide and Show Region" region template that you can use that does this for you.
    However, if you wish to stay with what you have, you could enter the report title into the region that contains the buttons (assuming that this is above your report?) and use the "Region without Title" for the report region itself.

  • Hide or show ratios in a query depend of the entry variable

    HI gurus,
    I wish hide or show rates depending if the user choose a entry variable. For example for 2008 dates take three ratios and for 2009 others.
    Thanks

    OK. WAD problem !
    Basically you need to use some HTML expertise to resolve this issue.
    Creat a new template with Radio button or a dropdown button which will contain the available values what user can select.
    something like as follows:
    o 2008
    o 2009
    Now this can be done using java script.
    You will have two different templates. One for 2008 query and second for 2009 query. Run them and get the URL of the reports.
    Then in the HTML on the "onSelect" event, put the URL.
    So if user selects the 2008, on the next page, you will see 2008 query and if they select 2009, then you will see 2009 query.

  • Hide the 'Show All' option in Region Selector

    Hi there,
    I just searched this forum and came to know that we can hide the show all option in region selector using jQuery as suggested by VC.
    $('ul[id$="_RDS"]').children('li').each(function(i, e){
    if ($(e).text()=='My Tab') {
    $(e).find('a').click();
    Any idea where this jQuery needs to be inserted?

  • Sticky hide and show not working

    I believe I have followed Carl Backstrom's Sticky Hide and Show Region example to the letter for my own application.
    1 - I have the application items and application processes in place.
    2 - I have the javascript in the HTML Header attribute
    3 - The SHOW_HIDE_MEMORY package is in place
    4 - I edited the Hide and Show Region template
    I'm on Apex version 3.0.0.00.20
    The collection does not seem to be getting populated. I'm wondering if the region template which includes this code is not working: onclick="$r_ToggleAndSave(this,'#REGION_ID#')" id="#REGION_ID#img"
    My regions are always collapsed when I navigate away and return to the page and the collection is always empty. I've checked the state of the temporary item after clicking the expand (+) button and the value is always null.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Todd

    Hi Carl,
    I'm not seeing any obvious errors on the screen or in the message bar. I just downloaded the Firefox javascript debugger extension. I'm not exactly sure how to use this tool, but when I expand a hidden region, I do see this message in the debugger screen:
    Warning ``reference to undefined property this.onShutdown_'' [xs] in file ``file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsSafebrowsingApplication.js'', line 1710, character 0.

  • How to make a checkbox hide and show div between two different pages

    Hi
    I am developing a mobile site application.
    Currently I need to make a checkbox effect.
    Here is how I want the checkbox to work for me..
    I want users to click on the checkbox, for an option on the editor as well as its content on the live mobile to hide.
    These are two different files which contains the user interface.(the live mobile file and the editor file)
    Now how can I make it possible to make both options hide or show at the same time after a user clicks on the
    checkbox to show or hide.
    Is it possible for a checkbox created on a different file affects an external file to hide a div within that file?
    If so kindly advice me on this.
    Thanks in advance
