Hiding and then making select-options visible on the selection-screen

I've created a selection screen. On this i've got a field (pr_inpt) depending on whose value i have to display the rest select-options viz. (so_c1, so_n1, so_d1, so_t1) say ,
1.)if (pr_inpt) contains value 'A' then display (so_c1 & so_d1)
2.)if (pr_inpt) contains value 'B' then display (so_n1, so_d1 & so_t1)
To achieve it, in the initialization event, i looped at the screen and for all (so_c1, so_n1, so_d1, so_t1) i made screen-active = '0'. Due to this my objective to hide fields in the beginning is achieved.
Next when user is entering value into (pr_inpt), i am making screen-active = '1' at selection-screen output event, for those relevant select-options (say if A, then made active for so_c1 & so_d1) but my problem is that it is making all select-options (so_c1, so_n1, so_d1, so_t1) visible on the screen which i don't want.
How can i achieve this, also is it possible to change the label of the select-options while displaying.

Error while using selection option variable in the selection screen

Hi All,
I am facing an issue while using selection option variable in the selection screen for one of my reports.
Scenario: For the field "Region From" we need to have wild card logic () in tes selection screen, for example if we put "BE" in the selection screen for the field Region From then the query should be executed only for those "Region From" values which begin from "BE".
Approach: For the above requirement I have made a selection option variable for "Region From". This allows use wild card
But when the report is executed we get the following error:
"System error in program CL_RSR_REQUEST. Invalid filter on ETVRGNFR".
(ETVRGNFR is technical name of the info object Region From)
Though the report is executed it displays all the values for the field "Region From" irrespective of the selection given in the selection screen.
Please give suggestions / alternate solutions to crack this issue.

Hi,
Try to use a variable of type Customer Exit and do the validation inside the exit to display according to your request.
This is just my view, i am not sure if u are already using this or Char. Variable.

Collective search on the Select-options field on the selection screen

Hello experts,
                   I have a Y program and a selection screen for it. I have to get the BKPF-BELNR in the search help list. Since the table is too bulky to get all the documents form it. I thought I might need a condition of company code for fetching the documents. I have company code on the selection screen, but if I press F4, on the BELNR, my select-options internal table for <b>company code</b> is remains initial. I think for F4 events the values doesn't get populated in the internal tables, not sure.
                   Can you tell me, how to get the company code entered on the selection screen, on the F4 event. Or If this doesn't work, will collective search help solve my problem? If yes, Please let me know, which function module I can use to add a collective search to my select-options on the selection screen.

After IOS8 update I am in a loop of putting in my Apple ID password and then always being kicked back to the Hello screen.

I updated IOS8 yesterday, on I phone 4s. I am now stuck on loop of Hello screen and finish setting up ICloud. I enter the password and am taking right back to the Hello screen. I have turned the phone off the back on several times, no change. I have changed my Apple ID password and check that the change was made. Password changed, no change in loop. Help.

My i pod is a few years old and i have used it in 4 years so i connected it to my mac and it shows the apple sign and then there is a flash of the home screen and then it goes back to the apple sigh ,i have tried using different cables and stuff

okay so I have a ipod clasic and its around 6 years old ,I havent used it for more than 4 years old and i tried to turn it on but it wont turn o. I connected it to my mac and it shows the apple sign but doesnt turn on i tried pressing the hone button and the pause one together and now it says disk mode but once its out of the disk more it goes back to the apple sign and wont charge.help.im confused!!

I didn't understand the option to Inherit or start a new back up, and therefore selected the option to create a new backup. I believe I should have selected to Inherit backup history so that when i back it up on the new MackBook Air, it appears the same as the one I'm returning.... Is there anyway that i can re-select the option to Inherit backup history for time machine?

I have LabVIEW Express 7.0 Professional - SCXI-1000 Chassiss - along with SCXI-1112, and SCXI 1520/1314 - cable to the PCI-6052E is attached to the 1520 card.
MAX says it recognizes all the cards in the chassiss.

I tried to set up the system as DAQmx.
I had MAX auto-detect the set-up - and it recognized all the cards - but did not select the 1315 accessory on the 1540 card - I had to do that manually - but in the configuration section I would select the accessory and it would deselect itself. I had to get out of the set-up and then right click on the 1540 card and click on the "Accessories" tab and select the 1315 terminal block that way.
It didn't seem right that the system should behave that way, but I pressed onward.
I then tried to create a new DAQmx Task
When I create new DAQmx task and then click on Analog Input no "Position" Tab appears for me to select, all I get are:
Analog>>Voltage
Analog>>Temperature
Ana
log>>Strain
Analog>>Current
Analog>>Resistance
Analog>>Frequency
Analog>>Custom Voltage with Excitation
Do you think there might be something wrong with either my hardware or perhaps my configuration that is not allowing it to recognize the 1540/1315 in DAQmx?
I had included the system report of what programs I am using, etc. as attached file nireport.txt
After the DAQmx did not work I tried installing everything as Traditional DAQ and it did let me set-up the 1540 Card with Excitation Voltage and Frequency and gain - I then went in to the VI that I had built and tried to use the Express DAQ Assisant to read the channel that I am connected to on the 1315/1540 - when I try to use DAQ Assistant it gives me an error saying that "Device not available in NI-DAQmx. It is possible that the device is being use by traditional NI-DAQ"
Which I guess it is since both configurations are now set-up in MAX.
I would PREFER to use the DAQmx set-up, but I am confused as to WHY it won
't come up with

When I try to create a new DAQmx task.

Credit card and debit card and checking and savings information is encrypted so it is possible to be hacked, but the odds are greater to get hit by the Love Boat then to have a wide scale hack.
Oh yes they do happen, Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, Target and quite a few others. But in all the years I have paid my invoice with saved card information I never been hacked.
You use good passwords and the risk is minimal.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. That is only present if you have already updated to iOS 5 or later. If you're on iOS 4 you can only update while connected to your computer's iTunes.
