HIding "Display message log" link in the message area
Hi Gurus,
I've a requirement where i need to hide the default " Display Message Log" Link in the message area.
Pls give me some idea on this.

You can delete message log using method RESET_MESSAGES

Yosemite - Cannot log in to the Message app
Dear all,
I have a Macbook Pro mid-2009 with Yosemite. I cannot log in to the Message app with my Apple ID. When I try to log in, a window pops up and ask me to contact the Apple assistance. My Apple ID works though with my iPhone and iPad. What should I do ?

That sounds like it is not creating the IDS item from the Keychain again.
Check the Apple Menu item in the Finder > About this Mac and see if the Serial Number is visible in the info panel.
If it is there use the Finder > GO Menu whilst holding down the ALT key and selecting the Library at appears.
Navigate to Preferences.
Find the com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist item and Drag it to the Trash.
Restart the app again.
This.plist holds the Apple ID being used for the iMessage ID and deleting it will require you to re-enter it in Messages.
You may also see the pop up about any other devices using the same Apple ID if you have linked them.
If this does not work you will have to consider calling Apple Support and have them look at the iMessages Server responses to the Login.
Calls about an Apple ID issue should be free.
There are other known issue that only effect an Apple ID whilst it is being used with the iMessages Servers from a Mac.
Ask to speak to a Level 2 person if you have difficulties with the Level 1 person.

I'm using Mail 5.3 and Address Book 6.1.3 on X 10.7.5. I want my contact photos to show up in the message list on Mail, but only some of them do, even though the message will link to the contact card in Address Book with the photo in it. I've even tried replacing a photo that doesn't show up with a photo that does show up for a different contact but no luck. I am syncing to one other Mac, an iPhone and an iPad via iCloud.

I'm trying to add the email address for my verizon phone to iMessaging. In order to verify, you have to reply to an imbedded link in the message. Unfortunately the link is truncated. Any idea how to get around this?

Update - I deleted/re-added my account. Same issue. Also, no my Exchange calendar won't sync. Issue appears to be on the Exchange server. I see the following errors in my iPhone log:

Message retry count for the message has been exhausted
Hi,
I am using 'Custom Document Over Internet' with HTTPS as transport protocol. I have set the acknowledgement mode to Sync in order to receive the synchronous response. B2B is able to post the HTTP request successfully and in turn it receives a synchronous response and a MDN message. At the initial stage, after posting the request it shows the state as 'WaitForAck' for request message and for response and MDN messages, the state is completed.
After some time when we check the state of request it is changed to 'Error' with the error message as 'Message retry count for the message has been exhausted'. We have not set the retry count and retry interval and so after retrying for 3 times with an interval of 120 minutes it is showing error state as it is not able to correlate the incoming response to the corresspoding request. We have tried the option of setting the Message id of the request in 'replyToMsgID' parameter of response header and tested the flow. But still I am facing te same issue. Since installing iOS 7 messages randomly disappear from the messages list. When I scroll through message from 'Fred' has disappeared. I cannot empty my 'trash' ... it comes up with ... "Unable to Move Message ... The message could not be moved to the mailbox Trash"
I went into Settings > Mail > 'my account' > advanced > deleted mailbox > Trash (On My iPhone) ... it appears to delete a few items only ... I may try to individually delete 30 items and only 4 go ? help please ...I have the same problem and there is no advanced option. Was this removed in the upgrade to ios 5? I have been chasing a solution to this and the fact I have various duplicate emails appearing in my work account for days now! It seems like I may have to delete my account and re-install. This appears to be a common problem, where is Apple's fix for it?

How can I leave a group in iMessage?
I delete the group in iMessage because I don't want to receive any more messages.
Nevertheless, whenever a member sends a message, I get all the messages again. I have only deleted the previos messages.
In the users manual, they only tell how how to create a group, but not how to leave it.

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

I use BT yahoo mail with Thunderbird 24.6.0 in the last few days i've started getting this message when sending messages:
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many messages. Please check the message and try again.
Now sometimes the messages are sent anyway and sometimes not. If I re-send sometimes it works and sometimes not. I've contacted BT 'tech support' who tell me there is nothing wrong with them or their servers and as webmail works ok they won't help. I strongly suspect it IS a BT issue, Any clues to fix this?The message means BT are lying basically. I have just spent the best part of an hour on chasing what limits BT place on mail sending... the internet contains a void.
The closest thing I can locate is a BT rep here https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/E-Mail-message-limit/m-p/1045228/highlight/true#M17523 refusing to identify what limits they impose but advising their switch to critical path has more stringent controls. AFAIK Critical path is ca mail software solution sold by OpenWave Messaging http://owmessaging.com/

I see what you mean.This cannot be deleted without calling the voicemail.
You can remove the voicemail if you no longer want this.
Or ring the voicemail from a different number and delete it this way.
