Hied field, if another field value = "" or 0

Hello I am trying to show and hide a field based upon another fields value.
However I want this field to be hidden if the other field value is either blank " " or "22"
Here is what I am working with,
if (this.getField("Planting_Days").valueAsString=="") event.target.display = display.hidden;
else event.target.display = display.visible;
I want to do something like this.
if (this.getField("Planting_Days").valueAsString=="" or "22") event.target.display = display.hidden;
else event.target.display = display.visible;

Now what if I wanted to hide a field if two or more separate fields meet my designated numbers?
Something Like this.
if (this.getField("Planting_Days").valueAsString=="1" and this.getField("Crop_Selected").valueAsString=="corn" and this.getField("Season_Selected").valueAsString=="Summer") event.target.display = display.hidden;
else event.target.display = display.visible;
I only want this field to show if all of the three fields are as designated.

In the portal forms we cannot have a form based on multiple child tables. So I am trying to enter one detail table at a time. I THINK IN FIELD EXITS SOME RESTRICTION IS THERE YOU CAN NOT USE CALL TRANSACTION OR CALL SCREEN. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS YOUR ACTUAL REQUIREMENT. BUT YOU ARE TRYING TO CALL TRANSACTION USING MEMORY ID OR SOMETHING THEN I THINK IN FIELD EXIT YOU CAN NOT DO THAT. PLS CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG

Table Control: make a field editable or not based on another field value

HI All,
How to make a column field input enabled or disabled based on another field value in a Table Control.
Here's the scenario:
I have a table control with two columns, KTOKK and LIFNR. Now for certain KTOKK, the LIFNR field should be editable and for certain KTOKK it should not be editable.
Eg., KTOKK = 0001 => LIFNR field is not editable.
KTOKK = ZKTO => LIFNR field is editable.
But these fields are in a table control.

Let me make sure u r working with table control.
First u have to create a event(VALIDATE) to do the validation.
Inside the event,
1. First get the current index where user has pointed the curson
2. Once u get the index read the internal table with index value.
3. Now u can compare the col1 and col2 values and populate the error message.

How to drill down another one report on one field value of one row

Hi,
I have two reports that can link together on one field of respective database query command. The effect i want to reach is that when user clicks this field value on some row of one report, which i call source object, another report, target object, would use this value as input parameter and the page would jump to this linked report. I can see Format Editor provides Hyperlink feature when one field is edited, but i don't know how to associate another report as what i described here.
What if one the following conditions is met:
1.one of two objects, source object, is one chart object
2.target object is one chart object
3.two objects are both chart objects
Note: two objects is separately from different reports.
Additionally, is it possible to code for hyperlink functionality under both .NET WinForm and WebForm? what if under RDC?

I don't know if you can use the hyperlink to call a subreport but the following has worked for me in Crystal 10:
1. In your main report create a group on the field you want to pass to the subreport.
2. In the Group Footer, use the "Insert Section below" menu command so that you have a Group Footer 1a and a Group Footer 1b.
3. Put your table fields in the Group Footer 1b section (this would be similar to your Details data).
4. Put the sub report in the Group Footer 1a section. Set up the links to the subreport from a table field in your main report.
5. Right-click on the sub-report, select "Format Sub-report". Click on the "x-2" button to the right of the Suppress option and enter "DrillDownGroupLevel = 0" in the "Formula Workshop-Formula Format Editor-Suppress" window and save it.
When you double-click on your data field (i.e. the field in Group footer 1b) it should drill-down and run your subreport.

Can you mask a field value based on another?

In XML publisher, is it possible to not display field values based on a value from another field? If so, how can this be accomplished?
For example, I have a field value for Address Line 1 as "123 Main Street". I don't want the City, State, Zip, County and Country to be be displayed in the pdf output. However, all other Address Line 1 values should be displayed.

Parameter Field Value Elimination Based on Another Parameter

I'd like to make 3 grouping parameters with static values to produce 3 drop downs in the user prompt. The problem is, I'd like for the second drop down to eliminate the choice made from the first drop down and the third drop down to have been eliminated to only one choice. Is there a way to edit the parameter field values from the formula workshop?...Or maybe this would be better handled in the group selection formula area. Any help would be very much appreciated.

A simpler approach is to have a record selection formula that causes no records to be retrieved if 2 parameters have the same selected value. You can then unsuppress a text object telling the user their parameter selections can't be the same.

Who has changed the Custom Field value?

Dears,
Need to know the information regarding how to fetch that who has changed the Custom field value from PWA/MPP.
Example:
There is a PDP (say ProjectInfo):
There is a Custom Field added to that PDP (say Project Status = In Progress).
Now for ProjectA, someone has checked out and changed the Custom Field "Project Status" from "In Progress" to "Closed".
I need to fetch the information regarding who has changed that Custom field.
In which direction should I move: Event Handlers, PSI???? Any other stuff?

I'm not a developer but I do know that you can use an event handler pushing the resource name and date in custom fields.
Another way is to use a 3rd-party tool like
FluentPro Audit Tool.

how to take a field value in an array? its urgent........

yaa... i know, but actually we need to multiply that number with some digit.
take it this is way, if i push it into another array, we have an array of digits but what i need is a all digit to be together to be multiplied to a number
for example -
if i push the numbers into new array say arr[];
so i will have something like this. arr[1,2,3,4,5,6.......]
but i need the new varaible should have value as 12345........ all concatenated.
if i perform operation on array each digit will be multiplied individually.

I want to hide some of the values in drop down based on one text field value.
I have the field called name which has the value A, B, C, D and also one drop down list which has the values 1,2,3,4,5,6. I want to hide the some of the values in drop down based on A or B or C. Let say, If it is A, drop down value should be 1,3,5. If it is B, Drop down value should be 1,2,3,4. Like this for every record.

1) I have the drop down list which has all the status. I am trying to hide the drop down values based on one text field value for all records.
2) I have collected all the drop down values into table in webdynpro method. Rightnow I have two tables.
one has line items details and another one have drop down values. both tables having common fields.
I have to show second table values for that particular key, move all of them to drop down.
Which is the best and feasible option.

Field "Value field texts" is disabled to enter new values

Hi there,
I'm trying to enter new values on the field "Value field texts" from Depreciation Area, in Config Asset Value Display(Financial Accounting (New) > Asset Accounting > Information System > Configure Asset Value Display). The fields are disbled to enter new text values.
I don't know what's happening. I've see the SAP Note 121433, but I don't intend to request the creation of a program to fill these fields. Does anyone know if there's another way to deal with this?

Thanks for reply. I've checked the transaction ANSICHT following the steps said and the Master Data fields are with "No authorization" for all Depreciation areas.
Do you know if there's another way of enable these fields? We cannot change the Authorization settings from one Depreciation Area to another.
