Hierarchy with Ratio

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to build a report where i have a hierarchy on Company codes (with multiple nodes & levels)
& i want to see the totals aggregated to the upper level when i see the upper nodes.
This is the normal hierarchy functioning.
But my requirement gets tricky, when i have also maintain a ratio & aggregation should work according to that ratio.
e.g
Hierarchy of CC     Amount      Ratio
         C1                     $1000      100%
           -  C2               $2000        50%
             --    C3          $1000         10%
           -  C4                $200          50%
           -C5                  $1000         100%
Here , the eg says that C1 owns only 50% of C2 , 50% of C4 & 100% of C5. Whereas, inturn C2 owns 10% of C3.
Hence the Balances KF of each company code should get aggregated to C1 according to the ownership ratios.
C1 = $1000 + $2000 * 0.5 + $1000 *0.5 *0.1  + $200 * 0.5 + $1000 * 1
Initially , i was planning to upload this relationship to a DSO & then use it in the query. However , it becomes very static... & cannot accomodate any changes in the Hierarchy structure.
Can somebody suggest me a good way to do this which can also accomodate the dynamic hiearchy ( if the hierarchy changes)

Hi John,
I too have the exact same requirement.  Please let us share what we find out?
My scenario.  Calculate ratio of sales for sold to by line of business (LOB)
Created hierarchy on charachteristic 0Customer and have infopackage/user exit that freshes the hieararchy by process chain.
Hiearchy is displayed correctly in BEXweb for Sold_to
We have multiple levels for parent account as a node level
Sold_to can exist on multiple node levels (multiple parents)
The requirement is to apply a ratio (percentage) to the key figures (sales, gross margin, etc) for the sold_to on each node where it is assigned.  The total percentage for the sold_to on each node adds up to 100%.  This ratio is defined in a DSO
0SOLD_TO
0CUSTOMER (parent)
0AS_PRCNT_F (ratio, source table validates sum of 0sold_to and 0customer = 100%)
I have tried creating an info-cube for LOB and also added 0AS_PRCNT_F  as a key figure to Sales Info-Cube
Then assigned both KFs to the multi-provider. RSRT debug shows that the LOB KF is excluded.  I understand this is because multi-provider is a union not join. So won't work.
I am also trying to create an info-set (join) on 0sold_to on the LOB  and sales infocube then assign the ratio KF from the infoset to the multi-provder, but the KF is empty in the query results.
Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated!
