Horrific 'verify my ID' loop

Is anyone else trapped in a horrific never-ending loop where they are constantly asked to 'verify their ID' ?

I had the EXACT same problem and almost pulled out what remaining (little) hair i have left.
BUT! All is not lost...I think i found a solution...
Go to appleid.apple.com and instead of logging in, change the email address associated with your account. Apple will then send the verification email and you can complete the process. Your "new id" will be the new email address. You should also see your account balances and purchases reflected just as they were.

Hopefully this helps someone because I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out.
This is for people who want to precisely loop (or edit in other ways) multiple clips in the exact same way, but that are on seperate tracks playing concurrently in Multi-track view, so for instance looping 3 different tracks recorded simultaneously from a drum machine and keeping the same exact placement of each track relative to each other when trying to get the loop right (or any other type of edit)
It's all about how you switch between Edit view and Multi-track view, and you CAN'T group your clips before going to edit view, although this is counter-intuitive.
The basic jist is simple, "Selections" in the timeline, transfer from Multi-Track to Edit View and Back to Multi-Track...but you most follow a certain procedure, here is the procedure:
WARNING: THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF THE SELECTION IS OF ONE CLIP PER TRACK!!! YOU CANNOT MAKE A TIMELINE SELECTION OF MULTIPLE CLIPS ON A TRACK AND HAVE THAT TIMELINE SELECTION TRANSFER TO EDIT VIEW, AS FAR AS I KNOW.
In Multi-Track view:
1) Switch the timeline to "Samples"
2) Make a "Selection" of the part you want to Loop and zoom all the way in to the start and end points to get the loop as precise as possible, if it's not perfect don't worry just get it as good as possible in Multi-track View, then in Edit View you can find the Zero-Crossing points.
3) Make sure the clips you want to edit are NOT GROUPED AT THIS POINT
Here is the part that got me - AFTER making your Selection in Multi-Track view - you have to go to Edit view in a certain way, so that you don't de-select your selection:
WARNING: Do NOT Double-Click the clip/file you want to Edit!!! Do not double left-click anywhere in MultiTrack View or you will de-select your selection.
note: You have to edit the files one at a time in Edit View, but if you go there using the correct procedure, you can transfer your selection you made in Multi-Track view.
4) Decide which clip is the hardest to one to loop (usually it's an instrument sample rather then a drum loop but you never know)
5) Instead of double-clicking a clip to Edit it, HOLD CONTROL AND LEFT CLICK THE CLIP YOU WANT TO EDIT ONE TIME, this will select the clip without de-selecting your TIMELINE SELECTION.
6) Now that the clip you want to edit is selected, You want to go to Edit View USING ONE ROUTE ONLY --> Simply click "Edit View"
^Make sure you Timeline selection is still in place and hasn't moved do to user error (e.g. accidentally clicking the timeline or shift-clicking and moving the selection by accident <--- which I do by accident when attempting to control+click)
7) If you followed the instructions exactly, You are now in Edit View with the selected clip along with the timeline selection you selected in Multi-Track view, showing it's exact timeline location at the bottom which is relative to the Multi-Track view
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO DE-SELECT THE TIMELINE SELECTION, AS THAT WILL DE-SELECT THE TIMELINE SELECTION IN BOTH VIEWS.
8) If you are having trouble looping without artifacts, To find the zero crossing points either go to edit > zero crossings or use shift+h or j for left edge, shift+K or L for right edge of the loop.
9) if you must adjust it manually to fine tune then make sure you shift click the file as not to de-select the entire timeline selection.
10) Once you have a perfect loop, zoom all the way in to the start and end points, and take note of exactly where the start and end points of the loop are located within the timeline.
11) Go back to Multi-track view
12 To trim the clips to to the exact timeline selection: Hold control+left_click each clip that needs adjusting one-time, then right click > group clips
13) BEING CAREFUL NOT TO DESELECT YOUR TIMELINE SELECTION, select your grouped clips by HOLDING CONTROL and clicking on any of the clips
14) Point to the start or end one of the clips, when you see the icon showing arrows going either way, right click and drag your clips to roughly match up with the timeline selection, then zoom in further and adjust the clip start and end points to match up exactly with the timeline selection start and endpoints.
WARNING: IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY CLICK WHEN THE DOUBLE ARROW ICON IS NOT SHOWING, YOU WILL DE-SELECT YOUR TIMELINE SELECTION AND YOU WILL HAVE TO START THIS ENTIRE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN.
15) Verify that your loop is looping correctly, in some tricky instances you may have to find different zero crossing points on the initial file you edited in edit view by repeating the above procedure, but this is unusual, although it just happened to me.
16) If everything went correctly, now all your clips on seperate tracks are looped in the exact same way, if you want to destructively edit each file down to it's loop size, you can keep your timeline selection and control+click a file then click "Edit" (the one in the toolbar of course), one by one destructively editing each file.
17) to extend the loop either set as a loop under "loop properties" and then just drag each file the number of times you want it to loop, or do it my way and right click the clip > duplicate and set the number of times to duplicate and whether to have them back to back or spaced, this is the quickest method for me.
Addendum: IF you have 2 files selected and click "Edit" to go to Edit view, it will give you the file of the clip you selected first, not 2nd. You must then go back to MT view, de-select the clip you selected first, then de-select the clip you want to edit, then RE-select the clip you want to edit.
-Also, you don't HAVE to group the files as I did in step 12, you can drag the edges of the clips to the timeline selection one by one, I just find it easier to group them after you have set the loop on one of the files in Edit View.
-Remember, you can't select the files one by one and have the timeline selection transfer to Edit View IF you group the files prior to going into Edit View.
GOT ALL THAT? I sure as hell don't know if I do ...
All this could be easily avoided if Audition would simply let you edit multiple files simultaneously in Edit View relative to their position on the Multi-Track timeline.
I'd also like to know why when you do a full zoom in, neither the selection or the clips will snap to the ruler points, only to just before and after the ruler points on the timeline.
And also (and this may be my fault) I don't understand why when the tempo of my session is 89.8bpm, the timeline under the tracks says "90bpm" why does it round it off..?
Isn't that inexact and couldn't that present problems with syncing loops? idk I could be wrong I can't get my head around these issues because of lack of knowledge on the subject, if someone could shed some light that would be great.

PCI-7041 pid loop rate

Hello,
I have PCI-7041/6040 card with which I would like to perform single point PID control. I have looked at the DAQmx example PID control - single channel.vi to do this. The only thing I am unsure on how to do, is set the loop rate to a specific kHz value. Is this done by using the 'Input Rate' control and how could I verify that the loop is running deterministically and to the rate I have set?

Hi David
You are correct that the "Input Rate" control will set the loop rate for the example that you are using. There are a few ways to determine if the loop is running deterministically.
One thing you can do is use the "DAQmx is Read or Write Late" VI. If the "is late?" output goes true, your loop is not keeping up with the specified hardware timed acquisition and generation.
Another recommended method to determine if your loop is running determinisitically is to benchmark it using the TimeStamp VI's.
There is a great example in the LabVIEW Example Finder that you can use for this. From the Example Finder, go to
Tookits and Modules >> Real-Time >> Timing >> NI Timestamp Code Timer.
You can combine your PID example code with this example to determine how long it takes for your PID code to execute when running on the real-time target. Just place the code you wish to benchmark in sequence 0 of the sequence structure of the Timestamp Code Timer example VI. This VI will give you some great information including average execution time and maximum jitter.

Applied performance tuning conditions, but no result..!

1. Display data from tables like BSEG, BKPF, CSKS etc..,
2. Amount of data , which needs to be display is very huze.
3. Changing of requirement will be happen, only if we agree ABAP can not increase performance more than this.
Result:
1. Bad Performance, perticulerly at BSEG.
2. Some times falling into Memory Over flow issue. Because of number of records pulling from tables are very high.
What I did:
1. I used for all entreis methid.
2. Used availble Indexs in where conditions.
3. Using Clear and Refresh statement where ever neccassary.
4. Applied all performance related options , as of my knowledge.
5. There are syntax, exended check, code inspector errors or warings.
I know this is because of huze data, but as a developer how can reduce the runtime..still...?
---How can solve this problem...?
Is there any way to modify my program acrchitecture to get result...!

Hello Naveen,
As i could see from your question, you have tried most of the basic fine tuning methods to improve the performance of the program.
There might still be some things like using binary search's with proper sort criterias, fine tuning a loop processing etc. But that could be suggested only looking at the designed program.
My recommendation is to first recheck the design of the program, verify if any loop processings or search criterias can be fine tuned and make changes accordingly.
If the run time still does not improve, try splitting the selction criteria logically inside the program (as customer might not agree to change the requirement). Once the individual "split" selection data is processed, you can collect all the data for common processings.
For memory issues, use FREE and REFRESH statements to delete all the data which is not required. Sometimes, we keep the internal tables with huge data to be used in later processings. My suggestion is to delete such data once your first steps of processing is completed and select the data again when it is required. We can check if "SELECT..ENDSELECT" can be used which again depends on case to case.
If this is report which displays data based on some criteria from time to time, depending on the various selction criterion being used, you can al alternative solution:
1) Create a database view and each time the program runs and reports the data, store it also in this database view. The view and design of the data base will depend on how the requirement is and teh complexity of the data being shown.
2) Next time when the program runs, only the delta data can be processed from actual database table (BKPF, BSEG, CSKS etc) and teh rest of the data can be fetched from previous processed data.
This might be helpful particularly if the report is working on timestamps.
If it still does not work, due to huge data, the only resort is to run the program in background.

Hello. Im trying to make a recursion call inside a for loop. The problem is that the for-loop seems to change its boolean atribute(changes to 0) once the first recursion wave is done.

If it weren't you'd likely have other problems.
If you really want a constant value you'll have to save the value into some int variable and use that.
But I don't think that is really what you want to do. Remember list.remove() really did change the size of the list.

Blacklisting the ahci module does indeed get rid of the error. Would be nice to figure out why it was conflicting with the ahci module though.
I have not yet tried the 173xx drivers, but the latest drivers for the Quadro FX 580 are the 256.53 drivers according to nvidia.
Posted at the nV forums (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=155282), so we'll see what they suggest.

Apple ID Loop From **** - cannot verify email account

Please help as I am about to throw my phone through the window.
I had this problem back with MobileMe, which I was never able to set up correctly and now it's biting me in the butt for iCloud. Here is the issue:
Apple ID from ages ago before e-mail address required as an Apple ID - so it's xxx. Email associated with xxx user id is my personal email address.
A while ago, created another user ID per Apple that is my e-mail address: [email protected] But, that is also the email address associated with the xxx old id.
Back when I tried to set up MM and now iCloud, the iPhone constantly tells me it can't verify my email accout for the [email protected] user id. Back when I was setting up MM, I just gave up.
I called Apple care and he basically said I need to disassociate my email address from the old xxx user id. I went into iTunes app store and made that change to the old ID account. Mind you, appleid.apple.com is DOWN.
iTunes showing everything hunky dory: xxx user id is associated with a different email account and the [email protected] user id is associated with [email protected] email address.
going back into iPhone to set up iCloud. I have deleted and reentered the [email protected] apple id I want to use and it's still saying it can't verify the email address! What gives? This is making me crazy and the Apple Care rep says they have no power to make changes over the phone - it's all self-service.

The best way is to contact iTunes store support. Make sure you give them the old email address so they can look up the account for you. They'll tell you how to regain access to it:

Verify BlackBerry ID(9700) infinite loop

The Verify BlackBerry ID screen has two entry fields “BlackBerry ID Username” and “BlackBerry ID Passoword.”
I fill in both and press “OK.”
A cover screen appears reading “Enter the username associated with this smartphone.”
I press “OK”
The original Verify BlackBerry ID screen is displayed with the fields filled in so I press “OK” again
The same cover screen appears reading “Enter the username associated with this smartphone,” thus the infinite loop has entered it’s second iteration.
I am a few minutes away from seeing how many skips a BlackBerry will make on a calm lake.

Thank you. I solved the problem by deleatinf BlackBerry ID and re-installing. Bingo! It solved the problem bet the damage ti my psyche has already been done.

Can't get FaceTime to work...any suggestions...it just keeps me in this loop of asking to sign in, then verifying, then asking to sign in again. I know the username and password are correct.

Can't get face time to work. Know the username and password are right. Asks me to sign in...verifying... And then goes back to sign in...

One thing that worked for me:
launched Message app which uses the same backend as Facetime. If it launches, click on the video. May display a Error Dialog. Call AppleCare and give them the number displayed. This will give them the needed info to check your AppleID account for the messaging servers
For some reason FaceTime did not display this error, yet once I gave the Support person the number it was fixed in just a minute.

1. Close all open apps - double-click the Home button and swipe up on all of the thumbnails for all open apps
2. Reset the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your issues are resolved
