Hover over icon to replace or change text. Help please.

My art direction calls for a 'window', or div, with 5 icons
across the top. As the user hovers over an icon a text description
should fill the 'window' below the icons.
Example: an icon of a butterfly when hovered over will fill
the 'window' with several lines of text describing differences
between butterflies and say, wasps or something like that.
What is the best way to achieve this? Is this a flash
function or an image swap type of thing? Can this be achieved
strictly with CSS? Seems simple, don't know if it really is though.

Yes.

It definitely isn't.
I suggest you use a container for the variable text content
(like a div,
properly sized), and the SetTextofContainer behavior in DW,
which will let
you specify the text to use in that container as each 'icon'
is moused over.

You can't change that address by design, but Apple allows you to create another two addresses and use instead they call those aliases and you can create and use those different for different people with the same account. Instructions here

Simple, surefire fix: restore from your back up.
Anything else will require a lot more information. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

N91, will not send texts. help please

N91, this phone will make and recive calls, and recive texts, but comes up with "msg not sent" everytime you try to send one. Have tried different sims, with the same results! Can anyone help please

I was told its a big that is being fixed. In the mean time to clear this delay out (that builds over time after alot of sms). Backup your DRM activation keys, contacts using PC suite (PC suite phone memory backup that backups phones ROM). Then do *#7370#. You will have to then re-install any SISX appplications you bought though, re-synch contactsetc

Text/icons/window/ALL too big! Help please

I'm brand new to the world of mac and have little experience troubleshooting. For whatever reason, only God knows, all that i view on this screen is too big. i tried changing the resolution, restarting, EVERYTHING in system utilities, command + scroll (for zoom) and nothing seems to work.
Any help would be great!

Thanks Poikkeus but it doesn't seem to be a resolution issue. I've tried all options in res and nothing seemed to work. The dock size hasn't changed, but all else is enlarged. The toolbar text, the windows when I open them. In fact, they're so big that I can't see all the information on a window when it's open.
Any other ideas?

Extrude text help please

OS X / IIlustrator, I'm trying to recreate the extrude text in the attached , I'm having a bit of trouble in certin areas. These are the steps I have done so far
select text - white fill / black stroke
copy text / move down / transform / reflect
first problem, need to have a gradient from filler to zero opacity. Tried adding a rectangle, placing over bottom text, select gradient 12 to 6 black to white. ( I cannot get the gradient to slowly go to zero opacity ) How do I do this?

What version of AI are you using?
Transparent Gradient Stops are possible in CS4, but only that version. If you are using an older version of AI, you'll need to create opacity masks to get a gradient to fade to transparent.
As Mylenium posted, a basic blends may provide some of the basic extrude values. Or there's always the 3D effect as well. If you use the 3D effect, it's often easiest to not apply a stroke to the object first, since the stroke color will determine the extrude color. And in the "More Options" you should probably choose "No Shading" in order to get solid shapes for the extrude objects. Otherwise you'll get a great many smaller shapes to compensate for the shading. Then use Object > Expand Appearance and fill with gradients.

Flashing apple icon on my nano...help please!!!

I was updating my nano, disconnected safely but now all it is doing, is flashing a grey apple icon on a black background. I did the 5 R's and nothing. I have had my Ipod for over a year and have never had this happen. Any ideas?

Let it run down for at least 24 hours. Connect it to power (preferably a wall charger) and charge it for at least 30 minutes. Connect it to your computer and Restore it in iTunes. You may have to put it in disk mode for iTunes to see it.

Is there anyway I can change an iCloud email address? Can I make another iCloud email address? I was setting up a new MacBook Pro for a gift to my nephew and I left out a letter in his last name. I need to delete this one or somehow add another. Any solutions for my dumb ***?

Changing MEMORY_TARGET: help please

Hi,
I have Oracle 11g installed in a VMWare image(linux). The current setting of 1G for the memory (I read it in the init.ora, parameter memory_target=1G) is too much for my PC.
I set memory_target parameter=300M in init.ora but this does not seam to work.
Note, currently the instance cannot be started, because I reduced the Virtual Memory setting in the VMWare options,
so I cannot use: ALTER SYSTEM SET MEMORY_TARGET=300M SCOPE=SPFILE;
Is there a way to change this before starting the database?

I must have done something wrong, at step 5 the guides tells to change memory_max_target
ALTER SYSTEM SET MEMORY_MAX_TARGET = nM SCOPE = SPFILE;
(I put 400M), then the manual says to restart. But actually the db is not restarting complaining that
the memory_target is bigger the memory_max_target (of course!).
How can I recover this situation? How can I change now memory_target?

C6180, Brand New Cartridge, replace cartridge message. Help Please!

I recently had to replace my Lt Blue ink cartridge on my printer, but now All I get is the message to replace it in order to print. I didn't have any issues with this previous to replacing it. I even tried using another new ink cartridge hoping that perhaps it was just the cartridge itself. But that didnt work either. I also tried to use the nozzle cleaning option or the printer alignment option, with no luck, it wont let me do any of that either! I am still getting the same message...Ive tried turning it off for a bit, unplugging it, cleaning the contacts and am having no luck yet.
Please, is there something else I can do that I havent tried?? I cant afford another printer or even getting this one fixed by a professional. I use this printer fairly often, especially to scan and print documents.
I really would appreciate an answer, I have tried this twice b4 now and have yet to get any response..

With OS X Lion, you do have what is called a Recovery HD and it will allow you to reinstall Mac OS X. You can also use Activity Monitor to check to see if iTunes is still open in the background and you can quit it.

Changing phonenumber help please

Around 6 months ago i had to change my phonenumber. It appears the 'new' number I was given was in fact recycled and I am being plagued with calls relating to whoever had this number previously. I have even setup the 'choose to refuse' service but it can only accept up to 10 numbers to refuse
my questions are
- how do i change my number again?
- how do i make sure it isn't another recycled number?
- will i be charged for this?
- my line rental is with BT, my ADSL broadband it with Zen - what do I need to do to make sure i don't lose my broadband when the number changes?

There is no guarantee that a number is not recycled as there is only a limited number available at each exchange most numbers are recycled
Yes there is now a £25.00 charge to change numbers
you would need to inform Zen of your new number and also inform BT sales about your broadband connection with zen

Using Collisions to Change Frame - Help Please

Hello, I always come to this forum when I need help - its a
great source of information. Was hoping someone knew what to do
about my latest problem. I have a scene with several objects - a
character you can move around and several token he picks up.
Collision detection is achieved with Collision Modifiers. Upon the
character touching one of these tokens I call a global variable
called frame jump which is initially set to false. When I pick up a
token it becomes true and it goes to the framejump handler which
then tells the movie to switch frames.
My problem is that I cant seem to set up the modifiers
properly so that more the one frame can be viewed. Currently no
matter what token I go to in the scene - the same frame of the
movie comes up. I dont know what is causing it.
My Code (apologies for what might be horrible code)

Here's what I think you are trying to do:
When the user's character collides with one of the token
objects, you want to unlock a scene at a given frame. If the user
has collected a number of tokens, all the associated scenes should
be unlocked.
It seems to me that the same 3D sprite containing the same 3D
member appears at all the target frames. This leads me to guess
that the "scenes" you wish to jump to are in fact inside the same
3D world.
It might be helpful if you could create a storyboard of how
your movie is to work, and post it somewhere on-line so that we can
take a look at it .

Keep getting kicked off internet. When I try to sign back in to my wifi it says my network configuration has changed. Help, please.

I can't seem to get connected to my wifi internet connection. I seem to get bumped off sometimes when another device in the house uses the wifi. And, my computer sometimes gives me the message that another user is on my internet. I have called Bell...they say all is working. My wife's iPad connects. Her pc connects, my iPhone and iPod connect.....not sure what is wrong. Any suggestions?

Reset the router, if that doesn't work then reset the DNS settings your ISP is using. To do that please click DNS Settings Update for instructions. If that doesn't work try another router.
