I am developing one ALV report in that how can i call a condition type.I am one condition type PB00 for special price.This special price column should be present at the output list.This special price is not there any one of the database tables.So we will create one condition type for this.How can I develop one condition type and how we may call this condition type into my ALV report.

V/06 is the condition type transaction .You attach a Access sequence to that which is stored in V/07 .
there you can also get based on key combination tables names .
which you can used in your report to include in the ALV .

This is possible, using some of the events in the ALV.
You could use AFTER_LINE_OUTPUT event and call you form after say, a certain line count is reached on the list output.
MOVE 'AFTER_LINE_OUTPUT' TO gw_event-name.
MOVE 'AFTER_LINE_OUTPUT' TO gw_event-form.
APPEND gw_event TO gt_events.

and define the form for each event as follows - this would be a dynamic call by the ALV.

For lines per page:
rs_lineinfo-tabindex would give you the index of the current line in the list, which you could use to read the t_outtab table, and reduce the line count of items displayed on the earlier page.
There are a few other events too, like BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT and END_OF_LIST which you can use as required and print the data.

May be i will try to explain with 2 cases. hopefully one of this will be your case:-
DSO1 -> you have archived this DSO.
Case 1:-
Now you want to load from DSO 1 -> DSO2 (direct transformation)
so here , you question is while loading from DSO1 to DSO 2 ,will the archived data also be loaded to DSO 2?
if so, there is a infoprovider property you need to change for this
In extra-> infoprovider properties -> change-> Near line usage switched on (by default it is off).
so, the archived data also will be used in this case.
Case 2:-
you are loading from DSO 3 to DSO2. lookup on DSO1.
so in lookup DSO1, you need to use archived data as well?
In this case, you have to use the Read from DSO rule type. this will access from both active table and NLS data.

How can I add a custom title to multiple ALV reports selected by layout?

Greetings and good day, everyone!
Within the past week or so, I posted a question asking the best way to create a program that would generate multiple ALV reports. I got some great ideas, and I've actually coded up a few simple demos based on your feedback -- thank you!
Here's the issue I'm running into: Many of you suggested that I put all report records into one table, and create a field that I could use to filter on later to determine which fields I want to display for the report. For example, if I have 3 different reports, I put all the fields for all 3 reports into a table. I then add a "report key" field. As I put records into the report table for report 1, I code "01" into the "report key" field. I do the same for reports 2 and 3, assigning each a "report key" of "02" and "03", respectively.
I then set up layouts in the ALV for each of the three reports, using the filter option to only pull records with the "report key" value for that particular report. This all works wonderfully! However, I seem to have lost the ability to show a custom title for each layout. I can create a generic TITLEBAR (like "Reporting Center") but I don't know how to reset the grid's title when a layout is selected. I was hoping that SAP might use the layout description as the title on each page, but it doesn't -- it uses the TITLEBAR text.
Any ideas? I think this might be the best way to program multiple ALV reports, but if I can't display the right report title for a particular layout, I'll probably have to go back to my other alternative of putting each report in its own container/screen, and having a button to access each report from the application toolbar.

I don't have any Selection Screen radio buttons for the user to select a particular report; in my case, they specify some needed criteria by the program in the Selection Screen, the program goes off and does a fair bit of processing/updating, and then displays the ALV reports when finished. They don't want to choose one particular report to view ahead of time; they want to have all 3 (in my case) there to see what processed correctly, what was eligible to process but kicked out with errors, and what failed some matching checks done up front (this layout includes additional fields from the input file so they can see what didn't match up against R/3).
So, while I do like the code example you presented, I don't think it's going to help me in my case.

How to apply WWW_LIST_TO_HTML - Open/Transfer/Close Dataset to ALV Reports

hello people! So far I have done some good progress regarding this thanks to many of you people. I do have some hurdles and one of them involves ALV Reports. So far I use
WWW_LIST_TO_HTML - to temporarly store the list report to a table known as ihtml.
and Open/Transfer/Close data set to send the file to the application server using the syntax below
OPEN DATASET file FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE.
LOOP AT ihtml.
TRANSFER ihtml TO file.
ENDLOOP.
CLOSE DATASET file.
So far the program works fine in the report with the expection if its one that generates an ALV Report.
My question is that is there a way to successfully run the program the way it was mentioned above using ALV? If so what techniques do you guys suggest?
Note: Also please note the report and transfering/writing of the file has to be done during background processing.

I developed a normal alv report and now i want to add a push button ex.. download in the report output and then whwnever I am clicking this download button then download functionality will work.Please don't take it as simple from my point of view it is very imp. for me please help me.

How to attach the layouts or variants to the alv report

hi all,
i have seen that using FM REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4 for some reports iam
getting the layouts
for some reports its giving message that NO LAYOUTS FOUND.
is there any way to define new layouts or else how can i use existing layouts.
any help will be greatly appreciated,

Hi cnu,
 First set I_SAVE = 'A' in the alv grid or list display FM. You can create new layouts by using 'change layout' button.but to save those layouts you have to set the save attribute. see below ex code.So that you can create some layout sets

How to get list header in ECC6.0 of ALV reports ?

Hello i want to display header in ALV reports this the code what i am using..
