How best to store 10KB file with html and javascript

Hello,
I am using Oracle 11g and pl/sql.
I want to store a 10KB of text into a table. The text has many html and javascript characters.
What type of table column should be used for text of this size and type?
What is the best or easiest way to get the text into the table on a regular basis?
Should I read it from a file? Or, ideally, I would like to paste the text into a textbox in the same way it is done here when submitting questions to this forum.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

All of the information provided by Microsoft that I have read and even the sample files during the trial lead one down the path that this is how you manage software on your devices. Deep links require a valid Microsoft account on the phone and
then opens up the option for the end user to sync to the cloud with a personal account, along with the ability to download any app they choose, which do not show up in the inventory. This was not our idea of application managment when we enrolled with
this product. Am I missing something obvious?

How to control adobe flash files with sliders and buttons

Hi,
I am trying to make a front panel for a vehicle completely designed in flash, and control it through labview. I can load a flash file into an activex container successfully. I have followed this thread here http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=351719 and gotten everything working.
But my question is, how can I send data to the flash file from labview? Some examples of things I need to do: Interpret a CAN signal and have some text appear on the screen, Make buttons flash, etc.
I understand how to load the swf, Im just not sure how to communicate with it. One thing to mention is that the front panel for the vehicle will be fully custom coded. However in the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to control it from labview. Like if there is a clock.swf out on the net, how can I change the time from labview? Is there a way to see what parameters are available for changing?

What specific Active X framework are you using to embed the container? The thread you referenced mentions Shockwave's Active X API, does this set of Active X functions expose methods for object control?
Could you elaborate as to the driver behind a fully Flash based front panel embedded within LabVIEW? Is this application inevitably going to be deployed as thin client software?

I have a large amount of music, in various photo formats and powerpoint, all together in an alphabetized folder. How can I transfer it from my PC to my ipad?

You're not going to just be able to drag a folder over. The iPad has no file manager like computers, so every file has to be associated with an app.
Did you ever sync your iPad with your computer? If so, use iTunes to move the files. However those files will be moved in bits and pieces. For example the music will be moved via the music app. The photos via the photos app. You'll need a powerpoint app to open your power point.

i installed Cisco Prime NCS and trying to perform bulk update of device credentials with csv file.

This is part of NCS online help talking about this topic:
Bulk Update Devices—To update the device credentials in a bulk, select Bulk Update Devices from the Select a command drop-down list. The Bulk Update Devices page appears.You can choose a CSV file.
Note The CSV file contains a list of devices to be updated, one device per line. Each line is a comma separated list of device attributes. The first line describes the attributes included. The IP address attribute is mandatory.
Bellow is test csv file i created but does not work:

The error i am getting while importing this file:

It looks like the IP address field is incorrectly set.,
It should be as follows
{Device IP},{Device Subnet Mask}, etc etc
so a practical example of the aboove could be (i dont know if this is completely correct after the IP address / Subnet Mask)

I saw your URL links, But in your link give the recursive deployment using wlst. But my question is how to configure the oracle weblogic library files into Admin server & Managed Servers by using the wls.jar file through wlst script to create the new domain.
But if create the new domain by using GUI mode then we manually give the admin server port number & managed servers port number and name.
By default the library files are configured with the Admin server in GUI mode. But the Managed server the Library files are not configured with the Managed servers. Then we manually select all the library files to the corresponding managed servers. Then only the applications are deployed into the corresponding managed server.

How to Set cookie in AIR with HTML/Javascript

Can someone explain or post example code as to how I can go
about setting a cookie in AIR using HTML and Javascript?
I have an AIR app that requires the user to login on a form
that lives in a non-applicationSandbox. I know how to
create/modified/delete cookies using JS and a web browser, but the
same code returns a cookie with a null value. I'm sure I'm just
missing one line/word of code to make this happen.
The stripped down basics of setting and reading a cookie

Yes.
Though I am curious to why you are using cookies to store
state on the client? This is AIR and you have access to the
filesystem, local SQLite DB, encrypted local store, etc.

Some scenario's do require login via cookies for our webapps
(in my case, chat w/ nicks which also logs users by serverside js +
php, thereby allowing the same access method for web-browser login

How to associate an uploaded file with form data

I have a "ticketing" app which stores a ticket no. as well as allows users to upload multiple files per ticket. The problem I am having is how to associate an uploaded file with a particular ticket no. As you can guess this becomes complicated when the same user can potentially update multiple tickets using the same file names. I am having difficulty trying to understand how to associate a ticket no with one or more uploaded files. I do have a custom table which I update with the attachments but I am unsure how to, or when to, update the ticket information on this custom table. I only want to retrieve attachments for a given ticket, not all attachments uploaded by a user.Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you working with .mod standard or widescreen?
If .mod standard, less problematic. The file just might import without issue. Worst case would probably be changing the file extension from .mod to .mpg just prior to import.
Now .mod widescreen is another story that revolves around maintaining the 16:9 flag that scretches the video for display after encoding. Some have said that the 16:9 flag is lost in the transfer to computer; some say certain editors such as Premiere Elements just cannot read/recognize the flag. Whatever the case this is what you should consider in your Premiere Elements 7 Windows.
a. If you need to rename the file extension from .mod to .mpg, do so prior to import.
b. Import the .mod or .mpg counterpart into your Premiere Elements 7 project using the project preset NTSC or PAL DV Widescreen (NTSC or PAL depends on your location of interest). You will probably see that the video does not fill the space in the Edit Mode Monitor (you will probably see standard 4:3 looking image rather than widescreen 16:9 looking image).
c. Right click the file in the Project media area, select Interpret Footage, and, in the Interpret Footage Dialog/Pixel Aspect Ratio section, dot the Conform To: and change the setting to
D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 (1.2)
or
D1/DV PAL Widescreen 16:9 (1.422)
depending on your location of interest.
A while back there used to be a program called SD Copy that did the job of file name change and adding the 16:9 flag prior to import of the .mod widescreen into Premiere Elements. But, I have lost track of the SD Copy and suspect that is it no longer available. I have dealt with this issue many times at a forum that I formerly frequent. Most have reported back that this workaround worked for them. It is worth a try. I am looking forward to your results.
If you do opt to upgrade to Premiere Elements 11 Windows (please go tryout before purchase), I am eager to learn how your .mod widescreen is handled by version 11 in your computer environment.

I have not downloaded and used the following since I do not have any .mod widescreen. So, no guarantees. Please let us know the outcome if you try it if Interpret Footage does not work for you.

I guess I miss something. How can I share a folder of photos? When I return from a shoot, I select 20 of the pictures and need to share them with my client to pick up the favorites. Am I supposed to copy and past an URL for each image separately?
Sometimes I also work with a colleague, I need to share my favorites with him. Same issue.
We have tried Adobe Cloud, and then went for Dropbox. There we can share a folder and he can put even his pictures in it as well. That's what I call collaboration. And it is free (unlike Adobe Cloud). If you have some word in Adobe, please tell them to either drop it and make a deal with services like Dropbox, or make it properly.

Implementing these two alternatives in OWB, I encounter the following problems:
* How to specify LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR?

Hi Carsten
If you need to support the LENGTH SEMANTICS CHAR clause in an external table then one option is to use the unbound external table and capture the access parameters manually. To create an unbound external table you can skip the selection of a base file in the external table wizard. Then when the external table is edited you will get an Access Parameters tab where you can define the parameters. In 11gR2 the File to Oracle external table can also add this clause via an option.

I have a win 7 and a win 8.1 computer. I have a file which contains both landscape and portrait pages. The file prints correctly with the mixed orientation from the win 7 pc, but will only print with either landscape or portrait on the win 8.1 pc.
I am using Adobe reader XI on the win 7 pc and adobe touch on the win 8.1 pc
