How can I accomodate for JSessionId in my dynamic links?

Hey,
I have dynamic links that are producing "Page not found" errors because of the appended jsessionid.
Example:
desired url = http://www.allhonours.ie/Ask/viewq.do?qId=52
actual url = http://www.allhonours.ie/Ask/viewq.do;jsessionid=2333E4463870ED22CEB657D8DF2380CD?qId=52
I'm using JBoss/Tomcat and struts.
I understand that jsessionid is appended when cookies are disabled on the client side.
Is there any solution to this problem? I know if the page is refreshed, I get the desired url!!
Ideally I want a session as I store certain info on the session but I dont want jsessionid disrupting my links!
Any ideas?

You would have to stop tracking the session with cookies and start
tracking the session on the server.um. how?
The whole point of the cookie/url rewriting is for the client to identify itself uniquely to the server. HTTP is a stateless protocol. The only way you can run a session, is if each request sends along extra information identifying itself as belonging to a particular session - the jsessionid.
If cookies are enabled, it sends this data as a SESSION cookie (one that disappears when your browser closes - ie it is not saved to your hard disk) Otherwise it has to use URL rewriting.

because of the appended jsessionid.Appending the jsessionid should not disrupt your links, unless you are doing something funny with them. Do you process the URL yourself in anyway?
What version of Tomcat/Struts are you using? Are you putting the jsessionid in there, or is it coming automatically?
Basically I don't see any way around your problem, short of writing your own session handling mechanism. (bad idea)

In this case when I press the key to call other forms I need to wait for the response in the secondary form and then process the result.That is exactly what a "modal JDialog" (or JOptionPane) are used for.
Try it. Create a short demo program. All you need is a JFrame with a single button to show the modal dialog. All you modal dialog needs is a single button to close the dialog. After you show the modal dialog add a System.out.println(...) statement in your code and you will see that it is not executed until the dialog is closed.
Then once you understand the basics you add the code to your real program.

Your first line just sets a variable to a string value… getFiles() is a method of Folder… so

Not a PC user so I can't remember if the colon is OK…? As you appear to know the file name why bother with a folder get files anyhow you could just check if the file exists then do some thing…

If it's not workins as described in the store then you can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).

No possible way. Because the files may be enoded with differing codecs, compression, etc., you can only sort by file size, not the 'length' of the movie files.

you have to dig deeper.
An idea is this one:
The red marked word is containing the unit - in a coded way. Somewhere in the LV help you can find the description of this coding (I remember a chapter on memory representations of all LV datatypes...). (There surely is an easier or better way - but the example is done quic&dirty.)
You can also format the number into a string and analyze the unit here...

How can I search for duplicate photos in iPhoto 9.5.1 library. Installed on iMac 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, Mavericks 10.9.5.

These applications will identify and help remove duplicate photos from an iPhoto Library:
iPhoto Library Manager - $29.95
Duplicate Annihilator - $7.95 - only app able to detect duplicate thumbnail files or faces files when an iPhoto 8 or earlier library has been imported into another.
PhotoSweeper - $9.95 - This app can search by comparing the image's bitmaps or histograms thus finding duplicates with different file names and dates.
DeCloner - $19.95 - can find duplicates in iPhoto Libraries or in folders on the HD.

If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but there are only twp apps that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates: PhotoSweeper and Duplicate Cleaner for iPhoto. None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have different file names.
iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates. IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to. In order to do so, you would have to configure both the AirPort Express and the other wireless router for a WDS. Since it will unlikely that the other router is another AirPort, nor will you have the ability to administer it, you won't be able to get this accomplished.

OK. Following instructions, I've uninstalled the old Flash Player and installed the right one, and videos are now playing. Thanks for pointing me to the other posts on this site. YouTube and other videos are now playing
Some of the videos still play jerkily (they don't stream evenly). A few stream evenly once they've been allowed to buffer fully. (I think I'm using these terrms correctly.) Is this solely caused by low bandwidth, or is there something—an adjustment of some kind—that I can do with Flash Player to have online videos stream evenly, even from the moment I start them?
As I mentioned, to bypass this uneven streaming while watching online, I download the videos and watch them usually using Quicktime Player 7.6.4. Still, they don't always play evenly, but for the most part do.
I've just tested bandwidth and I'm told:
5.63 Bbps Download speed
0.63 Mbps Upload speep

You can configure Spotlight so it will also search in system files or you can download and use EasyFind 4.9.3 that doesn't require special configuration.
Get Spotlight to search system files (and more)
Enter the search term in the Finder window's search field.
Click the [+] button in the search bar to add a search option.
In the first drop down menu choose Other.
Choose “System Files” from the list that pops up (and check the box to place in drop down menu to avoid this step later,) click on the OK button.
Now back in the Finder choose Include from the second drop down menu.
