How can I add animated gifs to a slideshow?
I want to put some animations into my slideshows.
I want to add in animated gifs. I can do this with Videowave (Roxio). Can I do the same thing with elements 8?
Double click on the photo in the thumbnail tray at the top to get into the edit mode. There Control (right) - click on the image and select Duplicate from the contextual menu.
Go back to the slideshow mode and there will be two copies of the photo in the tray which you can place wherever you want.

You can only select one track via the slideshow button in the Photos app. If you have a long slideshow then you can start music playing in the iPod app and then switch into Photos and start a (no-music) slideshow.

Can I add animated GIFs to my project and Publish as HTML5?
I've created several projects with Adobe Captivate 7 and have added animated GIFs to my project. When I publish, the GIF animations are only animated when played as SWF. When I play the HTML5 version the GIFs only show the first frame.
Is there a way for me to publish my Adobe Captivate project so that the GIFs are animated when viewing the HTML5 output?HaridossR1234,
Thank you for your reply. I have tried both draging-and-dropping the animation into the project as well as using the insert-> Animation menu option, but neither result in and animated GIF being displayed when the project is on the web and being viewed as an HTML5.
I should note that the GIF IS animated when I view the project on my computer after publishing, but not when the project is displayed on my website. I publish the project with both GIF and SWF checked and Chrome displays the animated GIF but Firefox and Safari do not.
When you say to check the HTML5 output, do you mean when I'm publishing the project as a whole or is there that option somewhere when I'm inserting the GIF?

Use the PowerPoint command Insert > Audio > Audio from file, and navigate to where the audio file is located.
If you don't know where the file is located, right-click the track in iTunes and choose Show in Windows Explorer.
Make sure the song you want to use is in MP3 format. If it is in something else, make an MP3 version, per this document:

How can I add a gif to Keynote 6.2?
I've tried dragging the image from the internet to Keynote and it does not appear on the slide at all. I've also tried saving it as a .gif, saving it as a .mov, opening it in preview and quicktime, and I don't know what to do to make it move in Keynote. Please help and thank you for your time!

I concur with Tom. That feature is not available with iBooks. If the page turning effect is important, you could consider developing a fixed layout Epub 3 instead.

How can I add sound to SWF Exported from Imageready
I am making an animation in image ready, and I would like to ad sound to it. I am new to Imageready still getting use to making animations. How can I add sound to my exported animation?
As Mylenium suggests, using Flash, or Premiere Pro, will allow you to add the Audio. With the SWF, Flash would be the first choice on my system. There are also other programs, with the capability to edit the SWF. Moyea has some, and there are also freeware editors.
I have an old version of Swish (supplemental to my Flash program), but do not think that my old-timer has any Audio capabilities - maybe I just never looked?

I am allways using a template to make documents, that I save under different names. How can I add the (changed) filename in the footer of a saved document ?
It is important to me to print the filename on document, to find and edit it on my mac later.
In MS Word it is easy to automaticaly add filenames, path, author and other filedata to the document. I can't find how to do that automatically in Pages templates.
I saw earlyer answers to this question on this community, but they don't work as I expect, or only on earlier versions of pages..... I trust there is an easy way to do this.
Can someone help me please ?That function, present in "Pages 09" (i.e. Pages 4.3) , was not included in Pages 5.0-5.1. (Nor were nearly 100 other such features, from mail merge and bookmarks to non-contiguous text selection, 2-up page viewing and the ability to set alternating left/right margins, headers & footers.Version 5.1 is also notably buggy. One work around, or partial work around, is to click the file name at the top of the window document. You can then select the filename, copy it and paste it whereever you like. As far as I can see, however, there is no way to include the path: all you get is the filename and extension.

I've searched the whole of the web and can't find anything about this at all - only about adding one of the existing muse typekit fonts which I already know how to do.
