How can I add three binary numbers and then convert to string (Hex format)?

Hi All,
I have my problem "half" resolved, but need some assistance on the final piece. Overall, I need to take three string values (hex format), convert them to binary, add them and then convert back to a string (hex format). If that doesn't make sense maybe this will:
Final Result (My target) = 0xCC
= 0x03 + 0x01 + 0x04
          = 0x03; 0011b
          = 0x01; 0001b
         = 0x04; 0100b
For my app, we are dropping "masking" some of the bits so that we get 1 byte:
          = 0x03; 11b
          = 0x01; 001b
          = 0x04; 100b
So...
11001100b = 0xCC
In my VI, I am taking each initial string [0x03,0x01 and 0x04] type casting them to U8. Next I need to "mask" the binary values as shown above and then add them. I am not sure how to do this in LV??

The objectclasses attribute is multi-valued, so you can add several values to it as long as they are unique.
For instance, I think you can add several declaration of the same objectclass as below (note the difference is the number of spaces in the value) howewer, from a schema perspective, only 1 will be taken into account:

That's the reason why it is safe to delete previous value if you want to update an existing objectclass. No problem to add a new objectclass (new oid and new name) to the schema.

As mentioned, you need to create a secure zone in your Business catalyst site and have a landing page set there only. This cannot be managed from Muse only.

How can i "add file to library" and have it be considered to be a Podcast?

I went to a web site and downloaded a file to my C drive (MP3 format) that is not music. It is spoken, and is what i would call a 'Podcast', although i did not access it via iTunes as an official podcast. I then use iTunes "add file to library" function. But, it considers it to be music. I thought maybe drag/drop would work to let me add it to Podcasts, but it does not.
How can i get this file which i have imported into iTunes to be treated as a Podcast? First, i'd like it to appear on my iPod with 'Podcasts'. But, more importantly, if i stop listening in the middle, i'd like it to restart from that point the next time i start it again. Now, it is treated by the iPod like music, and so it starts at the beginning each time.

Is there a way that you can "subscribe" to something that is not in iTunes store? This is just a file on a site that is available for download.
If not -- does anybody else know if there is a way to do what the original question posed, to have a file that you downloaded, treated as a Podcast instead of as music?

Please load the data in a DSO first in additive mode and then load the data from DSO to the info object.

I have completed a iphoto book, but the back cover and flap have vanished. How can I add a back cover and flap.

My girlfriend has completed a iphoto book using my Mac. She completed it and sent it off for printing, but we received an email from Apple advising that clipped text had been found in the order.
We looked at the book again and noticed that there did not seem to be a back cover and flap to the book, the last page had been duplicated and one of the photo's had gone across some of the text. ( the front cover and flap were there.)
We have attempted to add a page, looked the the layout options etc, but there is no option to add a back cover and flap.
Please can you advise how we can add a back cover.

How can I add to page size and add crop marks?

I have a 50 page pdf file, A4, RGB. There are no crop marks. I need to add 1/2" to each dimension on each page (centering the image, of course), add crop marks for A4 size, convert to CMYK, to make press ready. I'm having trouble with each aspect of this. When I expand the page size then try to crop to A4, Acrobat tells me that the crop marks may overlap the art and I should consider cropping. I click okay, get the crop window, and that doesn't seem to work either. I'd love to create an action to do this but I can't even perform any of the pieces of it!
I am working on a PC, running Windows 7, Acrobat XI Pro CC.

You're right that is bizarre, but that's besides the point ;-) You could approach this a couple of different ways. I would suggest drawing a square filled with paper. Then draw a circle on top of the square with the same width and height. Select both the circle and the square, and choose Window > Object and Layout > Pathfinder. Click the subtract button. Then with the object still selected, choose Object > Paths > Release Compound Path and remove the corners that you don't need. Now just position the shape where you want it to appear.

How can I detect an external trigger and then generate an event or occurance

I have a PXIe-1065 chassis with a PXIe8030 controller, PXI-6653 timing module, PXI-6542 Digital IO, and PXI-6259 DAQ board, running LabView 8.5. I need to detect a trigger (100 ns TTL pulse) from an external device then start a process on a GPIB device. Is there a way for me to detect this trigger and then generate an event, or an occurance ? Can I do this without polling a device? Can any of this hardware generate an interrupt that LabView can detect?

My screenshot was only an example how you can approach the issue. I wasnt saying that you should try it with AI....

I would highly appreciate your wisdom and advice on this
functionality. Lets say I have two
movieclips on the stage(ClipA, ClipB). I would like user to
be able to click on any of them and, this click
will invode a createclip function which pretty much creates a
dynamic movieclip and loads
whatever I assign to it such other existing clips within the
library. The only problem I have
makeing the functionality work is that I would like to limit
the function call to one at a time.
So if the user clicks on ClipA, function createclip would get
invoke and will attach the assigned
movie clip. And when user clicks on ClipB, I would like to
end the function call that was invoked
by the ClipA and then then allow ClipB to invoke the
function.
Pretty much it would a logic like:
if(createClip = true)
end it;
else
createClip();
When a movie is attached, can it be unloaded or unattached?
I don't know how to write a function that would check if
function createClip() has
already been invoked. I would highly appreciate any direction
in this.

If the objective is just to get a unique list of authors based on your key, you could use the REPLACE statement in MySQL which functions as an "insert on duplicate key update" type of construct.

Catching an exception to detect dupes is functional but not very elegant. If you use REPLACE then you know your statements will always work. The drawback is that the statement is not portable across databases.
