How can I display date+time and not the point number in excell?

Hi everyone,
Could anybody tell me how I can save date + time to a file, so that I can display on a diagram(excel) : date+time in (ox) and data (oy)? :
My program sets in (ox) the point number and not the date+time....( although date and time are written correctly in the column...)
Any help would be great,

hi there,
excel uses 01.01.1900 00:00 as the time offset, LabVIEW uses 01.01.1904 02:00, so you can't display the correct datetime in excel when you write the time as a fractional number of seconds from LabVIEW. you must format the datetime in LabVIEW to a string and write that to the column. use the "Format Date/Time String" - function and for example "%d.%m.%Y %H:%M:%S%3u" as the format string (see the functions help for more examples). you also could format your data to a string using "Format Into String" - function and write the file as a 2D string array. the decimal point you have to use depends on your system and its settings, but you can specify the decimal point in the Format string like "%.;%f" (means fractional number with point as decimal point).

How can I display ONLY bookmarks, and not History?

I'm sorry to ask a question with probably such an obvious answer, but I have never been able to figure this out. I want to display all my bookmarks so I can do a search & find the right page. But I always get my entire list of every page I've ever visited. I don't want to delete my history, but I want to only show real bookmarked pages.
Here's what I've been doing: I select "Show ALl Bookmarks." Then I select a folder on the left under the header "BOOKMARKS." It still shows all the pages I've visited today.

After you enter the search criteria make sure you click on Bookmark Menu in the upper left of the coverflow window.

I have an external hard drive that is partitioned three ways. I have made an install disk out of one partition. How can I use this partition, and not the whole drive with bootcamp assistant?

When the drive is plugged in, boot camp assistant says that no installer can be found, but the application doesn't list the three separate partitions like finder/disk util does.
I am using a mid-'12 retina mac running os X 10.9
Hopefully this is an easy fix.

I have just experienced the same thing!
Although my external drive shows in Disk Utility, it does not show in Finder.
And the Verify/Repair buttons are also greyed out.
Also, although the drive is 2TB. DU shows it as having Total Capacity of only 4.14GB! (Which should be the Free Space).
I was wondering if you solved your problem, & if so, would you share your solution.
I´m afraid to Erase in case I lose all my Data on the drive.

How can I get regular Firefox and not the "Yahoo" version?

It is because you might have downloaded the optimised version of Mozilla Firefox made for Yahoo!
Do a fresh reinstallation of Mozilla firefox's appropriate version.

And yes if you have an add-on of Yahoo search toolbar then you can disable it from the firefox installation toolbars.
Remember do not download the optimised version made for yahoo. As it will only have that yahoo search home page!

How can I play a playlist and not the entire library on my shuffle?

I can't seem to organize songs into playlists and then play only the songs in the playlist -

There is if you play music from your computer (mine is connected via AirTunes to several stereo systems) or if you later get a Nano, or iPod with Video or an iPhone that does support playlists.
You can also use them to load songs on your Shuffle. For example, say you are going on a long exercise walk and you want many motivational songs with increasingly faster tempos. You could create a playlist on your computer, put the songs in it that you want, in the order you want, call it Long Walk, and then when your Shuffle is connected choose to Autofill from the playlist Long Walk

When downloading, all screens are lists except last. It is a dropdown menu. How can I see all options and not the dropdown?

My computer just crashed. On the new machine, as well as my laptop, when I save a file, I see icons on all screens except the last. HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first.

Hi Folks,
I want to only backup specified folders with TM, just my iPhoto Library and some bits n pieces but notice it only gives the option to backup or exclude whole hard discs.
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

In the TM preferences you would need to exclude all the files and folder you didn't want to back up.

You can't reformat it and not wipe everything on it.
Have you tried a different USB port?
Only other option, back it up on a different computer.

You didn't mention which type of DBMS you are using (i.e. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc), but in a nutshell using MS SQL here is the principle. Your time that is recorded in the records is dependent upon a setting in your RDBMS. For instance, the RDBMS can use the machine time (which would most likely be local time), or it can use the machine time with an offset (to accomodate GMT, for instance). GMT is factored differently based upon your time zone (and time of year, i.e. DST or EST, etc). I'm on the east coast so right now my offset is GMT - 5, so if my time right now is 1457, then GMT is 1957. To get SQL to compute an offset you must take the number of hours to offset and divide by 24 (24 hours in a day) and add that to the record in the database. For instance, to get GMT right now I would use:
select cast(getdate()5/24. as char(12))rtrim(convert(char(12),getdate()5/24.,8))' GMT'
Hope this helps. If you're on Oracle, then the mathematical principles remain the same, just the formatting will be different.

Easy - if it is on the photo and you can see it then it is on the photo and
You can not [remove it] - you can sort of obscure it using the retouch in iPhoto and if you have PhotoShop or PhotoShop elements the clone tool will do a better job
It is part of the photo and there is nothind "behind" it to show - in the future do not set your camera to include it
The EXIF data ia internal to the photo and is never shown on the photo - it can ony be seen using special software that understands it and then it is displayed seperate form the photo never on the photo - like the info pane in iPhoto which shows selected EXIF information

go to 'Edit' in the menu bar. Then choose 'Preferences'.
you'll see a pop-up and there's a tab called 'Devices' there. If you click that, you will be able to check a box that says 'prevent automatic syncing for iPods, iPads and iPhones' or something like that.

NB: if you don't even see the menu bar that has options like 'File, Edit, View, etc', first click the black/white square button on the top left of your screen, and then click 'show menu bar'. It should pop right up.
