How can I find and list videos by dimensions?

I want to differentiate between 640x480, DVD, HDTV and Blue Ray video dimensions and sort them in a list.
iTunes and Spotlight, or Finder search options dont inlcude this functionality.
Does anyone know of a third party program which can find video and creates above listings?

I think I figured out a way.
There's a powerful conversion tool called iFFmpeg. It's basically a GUI layer on top of the ffmpeg engine (command line tool). If you go to the iFFmpeg site's download page you are required to download the engine separate from the app. That will take you to here where you can download the engine:
Download FFMPEG 0.102 OS X Intel 64bit (OS X 10.6.x, OS X 10.7.x)
Now with that you can write a applescript or shell script to get the info for the video files:
ffmpeg -i /path/to/file.mpg
It will output all the info about the video file which you could parse and present any way you desire.

Use the serach feature at the bottom of iPhoto and enter "movie". All movie files imported into iPhoto are automatically given a keyword, movie.
Or you can create a smart album with the following criteria: Keyword is movie. Select all the movie files and use the key combination Option+Command+Delete to move the files to the iPhoto Trash Bion. Then empty the iPhoto trash bin and the Trash bin in the Dock..

I can't seem to find the "Find exact duplicates" item in the File Menu in version 11. How can I find and deal with duplicates?

Shift-View-Show Exact Duplicates should reveal them. Keep one of each repeated group of files and don't send to the recycle bin unless you are sure that there are multiple files on the disc as opposed to multiple entries to the same file.
There is also my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. This can preserve ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. which are lost in a manual clean up. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background on deduping and the script.

Yes, the duplicates appear in the iPhoto window. I have folders with same name occuring two or even three times sometimes with exactly the same set of photos (ie photos with the same ID) and sometimes with a limited set of photos. Other folders appear only once.
I normally take my MacBook with me if I'm shooting a lot of photos, such as on holiday, and then want to transfer them to my iMac when i get home. Other times I transfer the camera's memory stick directly to my iMac.
I have great difficulty transferring the photos from my MacBook to my iMac. I don't want to store my photos on my iDisk due to the length of time it takes to upload them.

It is possible that the app was removed from the App Store. If so you will not be able to get it back, unless you have it downloaded on your computer.
If you had downloaded it before and it is still in the store, you can go to the App Store app on your iPod and go to the Updates tab. Then you tap on "Purchased" and see if it is available to download from your previous purchases.

My iPhoto library just reverted to an old library: how can I find and re-access my current library? I opened my iPhoto, and got the message that it needed to "update" to use this library. I thought maybe there had been a software update since I last opened the program (2 days ago). The library it opened was saved in a file on the desk-top. My current file was just in iPhoto. Please help!

Best option: Restore from your back up.
Otherwise:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I needed a certain App called Viber and tried to download it.
I didn't work and it told me to download it from my computer (Macbook pro) Itunes,
which i did, then i synched (my error) my iphone to my mac, then it erased all my apps from my iphone.
My question is how can i find and redownload all my older apps ?
Do i have to go find them manually and download them again?
