I go into a wiki created by my employer, and get the bar at top of page almost immediately telling me there are plugins needed. I click the button offered for finding plugins, and almost immediately am told no suitable plugins are found. Plugin help offered is useless, because I have no idea what plugins I need to look for. How can I find out what plugins are being detected as "missing"?

If there is no LR edits to keep, or if you don't want to keep the existing edits, you could delete the files from LR and import them again.
Since the file names on disk and file names in LR don't match, you will need to manually match them up by hand individually, if you want to keep the existing LR edits.
The easiest approach to this -- without doing any script programming -- is to go into each directory, one at a time:
Select the correct folder in the "folders" pane. Right-click "show parent" as necessary to see the directory tree.
Sort the LR Library by creation date.
Using the details view in File Explorer, sort the files by creation date (add to the viewed columns if necessary).
Assuming no more than 1 image per second, the files should line up.

First off, you're not likely to be able to email it. Most email systems limit the size of messages (and their attachments) since email isn't really designed for large transfers. It's not uncommon to see 50MB as a cap. Unless you're working on an especially small project you're likely to exceed this limit.
Instead you should consider creating a disk image of your DVD and using a public file service such as DropBox or YouSendIt.
If you create a disk image (.dmg) file that simulates a full burned DVD, the reciever can burn that to disk using Disk Utility on their machine. They don't need FCP X on their side.

How can components get a specific container they are in?

I may be missing a basic object oriented programming here. But still I'm stump. I have my swing components usually laid out JPanel. Then I can use the JPanel in a JDialog or a JFrame or other container. What I wanted to do is let my individual customized swing components get the immediate JDialog or JFrame it is in.
I tried using getParent() method but it will pass at the most the JPanel my component is in.
I am going to use the container reference to open a JDialog from a specific component. So whenever I use the component on other lay-out, it can still call on the JDialog.

use getRootPane() method on any component of ur GUI app, it will give u the root container, which can be JWindow, JDialog, JFrame, because as far as my knowledge goes these only two components which can be made visible independently in swing api.

HT204022 How can I delete my photos from my I phone? It does not let me by selecting and trash it. I did back them up but now I need to free my storage on my phone.

I keep Trying to Delete my photos, which I backed them up on my computer, on my Iphone, but my iphone does not let me to delete them. It shows select, but it does not show trash. I have no more storage on my phone and I have to delete my photos.

Photos synced to your phone from your computer can only be removed by syncing them off again. To do this, do the following:
Connect your phone to your computer using your usb cable
Open iTunes on your computer
Click on the name of your phone in iTunes
Go to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings
Uncheck the folders that contain the photos you no longer want on your phone. To remove them all, uncheck "Sync Photos"
Click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.
If you only want to remove some of the photos from an album, but not all, remove these photos from the folder by the same name on your computer, then sync your phone.

Sounds like it had one of the iOS 7 betas installed. If this is the case,
there are 3 possible actions you can take:
1] If you are a developer, go to the Developers Forum for assistance
as per the NDA that goes with being a developer.
If you are not a developer, you can
2] either wait until iOS 7 is officially released and then install it, or
3] seek help elsewhere for the stolen software on that iPhone.

I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon).

Put the scene that you want to stay in one place on the timeline on a video track above the one you are editing, in the location you want it to be on the timeline, and then lock the track.

Technically we're both right. This depends on what scenario you're setting this up.
1) If you want to say only this person can log on to this machine, and it's not an enterprise solution (meaning you have a handful of computers you want restricted, not all computers) then do something like Yan Li has recommended. However, I
do not recommend using any DENY LOCAL LOGON user rights. In this case, you would have to deny everyone except 'User A' and your Administrators. If you put a user in ALLOW LOCAL LOGON and DENY LOCAL LOGON, then DENY wins and no one logs in. Instead,
you should remove all the settings from ALLOW LOCAL LOGON and add only User A and administrators.
2) If this is an enterprise solution, use the LOG ON TO option I mentioned before. Managing user right assignments per machine is very difficult and isn't a practical way to do it on a large scale. If every user in your domain is assigned a computer
that they can use, only that user can use that machine and that machine will effectively only allow that user. For this to work, EVERY user must be restricted to a workstation, if no setting is present, then that user can log on anywhere. This
is my preferred solution still.
Like I said, it depends on your situation to which route is better. I hope this helps and is clear and easy to understand.

I just tried what you suggested and while it works I'm looking for something like what a Word doc shows, where at the bottom of the screen you see - Pages: 1 of 37 (it's to the left of where a Word doc shows - Words: 7 of 9024).
I recently switched to Pages and want to start using it all the time and get rid of Word.

Assuming you are not syncing with iCloud and you mean, syncing with iTunes only...(you can only use one or the other for syncing to prevent duplicates)
iTunes -
- Open iTunes on your Mac. Connect your iPad. Then click on your iPad (either its name or just "iPad"), then click the info tab (right above the photo of an iPad in the middle). From here you can select sync contacts, then sync groups, and select the groups you want and choose Apply/Sync in the bottom left corner.
iCloud -
- With iCloud if you just sign into iCloud in System Preferences and turn on Contacts, it will prompt to merge all of your contacts that are not already syncing with Gmail or Yahoo!, etc. so there really isnt a way to pick and choose as much with that.
- However if you really want to use iCloud and not iTunes, you could import the contacts that you want into iCloud.com, but you would need to export them from your Contacts App on your Mac and then import them into iCloud (VCard / .VCF is the format you want).

Your phone is in recovery mode. Did you plug it to the computer running itunes? What happend?
